Duncan was a really responsive host from the point of booking and the lead up to our trip. He was really helpful answering any of our questions swiftly and providing us with lots of options for places to eat and things to do. The house is exactly as it appears on the photos and the kitchen was well appointed allowing us to happily cook and bake! The sun terrace was a welcome addition even at this time of year, where we enjoyed the morning sun and the tremendous view of the loch. We will most certainly return, feeling quite at home with the real fire and comfortable beds. We really wanted for nothing, it was a home from home and a welcome break from the humdrum of work and everyday life! We felt like we were in the fjords looking out of the lounge window! If you are considering booking, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The photos simply don’t do the place justice.

My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

This is the most beautiful cottage! We spent two nights here with our dog and could access some great walks right on the doorstep, all recommended by our host, Jo. Great recommendations for the local pub ‘The Tappit Hen’, one of the best atmospheres in any local pub we have visited. Very friendly locals and some great places to eat. Would 100% recommend a stay here, Jo will make you very welcome!

Cornelius and Mette were really nice. they helped us with charging our car. They were super nice and recommended a ton of things to do with our Dog. Cosy vibes, we will surely plan come come back.

Great place to stay not just another holiday let - it was a home. -Views were something else and the silence was a much needed break from everyday life. -Take Abi's advice and do a big shop before you arrive! The local shop was shut. -In walking distance were The Waterfalls, Local Cafe (Amazing food) Boat rental. -Keep an eye out for afternoon music and nights out at The Shore House. Taxi (Trident Taxi's) was £20 each way but our only afternoon/Evening out out in the whole stay. The Sourdough Pizza's were exceptional. -Accommodation- Dishwasher!! Herbs, spices and oils cupboard. Tea and Coffee provided. -Loved the bath with the slower pace of Scottish life, you had the time. -Warm and cozy, no trouble with water or heating. Thank you for sharing your home with us, and we look forward to a return visit.

We had a positive stay overall. The flat had everything you would need. The kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. The host was great at communicating and the instructions for entry were clear. There was a handy book which gave further instructions on how to use things in the flat as well as on the local area. At first the flat/beds were a little chilly but that is more the Scottish weather and maybe if it hadn’t been occupied for a few days before. We were able to heat the flat adequately once we were in. We enjoyed our stay.

We were a party of 11 guests with 3 dogs. The house was perfect for all of us. Large living space and separate dining room. The pool table and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone in our party. The kitchen had wveryrhing we required. The views from the house were amazing. The location of the house was perfect for Loch Long, Loch Fyne, Loch Lomond and many more. The Reat and be Thankful was very close as was Inverurie. Nicola and James were amazing hosts. Their communication was excellent and their home welcoming. Overall, our stay was perfect and the house met the needs of our large family for our annual get away. Thank you!

What a wonderful place to stay. Thank you so much to Ann and Arthur. The flat is absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated and filled with lots of extra amenities. Without doubt one of the best air BnB’s we have stayed in. Ann was super quick to message and help suggest places to visit and Arthur set up the amazing bbq hut for the children to toast marshmallows. Whenever we are next in the area we will be sure to be staying again! Thank you both.
