We had a lovely stay. The caravan was lovely, clean and modern with a cosy feel. It was well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decking/balcony facing on to the lake was lovely and the park was so nicely maintained and quiet. Would definitely return!

Beautiful, peaceful and perfect. Everything we wanted for New Year's Eve, it felt like we had a country estate to ourselves apart from the deer.

The apartment is as pictured, comfortbale with beautiful views. It was the perfect spot for exploring the Lakes. There is also lots on offer at Whitbarrow Holiday Village making it a great place to stay.

A perfect place for a reunion of friends. Lots of space for activities (including outdoor space which unfortunately the weather did not allow us to utilise). The sauna and pool were thoroughly enjoyed. The large dining table made all meals very sociable and there were lots of pots and pans for cooking. There was no undesirable bedroom which made choosing rooms less competitive and all beds were comfy. Lots of blankets were provided across the house for warmth. The large sofa room comfortably fit all guests and allowed us to relax together. On one evening, we went to the holly bush inn for a meal, which was delicious and we would reccommend. Due to our large group size, a booking was required. The only problem was that the bins from the previous customer had not been removed meaning there was no space for our rubbish and the wind had caused rubbish to be spread across the front driveway. If you want to play ping pong, bring balls. Overall, we had a fun new years in this lovely house.

Fantastic country estate home. We felt very much at home here. Set in some beautiful private grounds well out the way. Beautiful walks down the river and through the woods. The house is extremely spacious with all the mod cons you’d expect. The house felt warm and welcoming from the start. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Pool area was clean and tidy as well. Couldn’t rate this place enough. Overall a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Would happily return to Monkwood House.

We stayed over New Year, 6 of us including 2 small children. Everyone had a nice time, especially the kids as there was lots of space in the cottage and good facilites on site... pool, games room and cinema room. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Would stay again.

The house was incredibly comfortable and super clean. The bedding, including the duvet and pillows, was exceptionally cozy and made our stay very warm and pleasant. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

Such a lovely big lodge. Everything you need which is great. Very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. Quite a few games of pool played as well. Would highly recommend. I also think this lodge would be great for my uncle who has recently had a stroke and uses a frame to get about as it’s very spacious and access is good for someone who would struggle with walking.

Would 100% recommend staying at the Riverain Coach House. We recently stayed with some friends and enjoyed local walks close to the house, a good selection of local pubs nearby but would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However with Penrith and shops being only 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem. The house has been done up beautifully and is really well equipped. Christine was great, providing lots of helpful information before our stay and the welcome hamper went down a treat. Thank you so much, we would 100% stay again.

Beautiful house in a great location a short walk from Keswick. Modern and high end finish to the house and had everything we needed for our stay. We visit Keswick on a regular basis and this has been one of our best visits yet!

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

The house was as described. Very quiet on an evening. Great location for walking in the lakes following our walk up Scarfell Pike and Ennerdale. It’s not particularly a tourist location but a great base! All locals really friendly and Everything was expected and described.

The cottage is very well-equipped, with everything you need to rustle up a three course meal - plenty pots, pans, roasting tins, utensils and a huge six seater dining table. It’s really easy to organise supermarket deliveries but only a 10-12 minute drive (Carlisle) if you’d rather pick things up yourself. The location is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of great dog walks close at hand. If you’re feeling less energetic you can relax in the cosy lounge or sit upstairs in the seating area of the master bedroom with amazing panoramic views of the countryside (thanks to the floor to ceiling windows). Sharu was an absolutely lovely host - extremely responsive and ever so helpful, yet completely unobtrusive; allowing me the space to enjoy my stay. I would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting the area

Both Bumblebee barn and Hedgehog hollow were lovely, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Seven adults, two 6 year olds and a dog had loads of space and really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely book again if we are in the area.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

Such a beautiful house in a lovely village, perfect for heading straight out on foot for long walks into the Lake District. David was great to communicate with, responded very quickly to all messages and even laid fires for us before we arrived. The house was spotless, incredibly comfortable (the best beds we've ever slept in) with so much space and a huge living room for relaxing in front of the fire. We had an amazing weekend staying there. Thank you David.

Melissa’s place is lovely, clean, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom is perfect. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and warm. The livings space is homely, user friendly and has all necessary amenities. Kitchen has lots of essentials to make for an enjoyable stay. Melissa even provided milk, bread, butter tea and coffee etc. which was a lovely addition. Thank you. Two very minor disappointments which were; dishwasher out of use which is not the end of the world just inconvenient slightly. Also we saw a wood burner in one of the advertising pictures however this is not listed on the description and is not installed. So our mistake but the photos indicated a fire. Overall a lovely stay for a family of 4 on a mini break. Would recommend to a friend.

Beautiful house in gorgeous countryside. The photos don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather but spending more time in the house wouldn’t have been a problem! Very light and spacious with nice attention to detail.

Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. We had a fantastic few days and hardly left the estate as it was so beautiful to walk around. The house was lovely and had everything we needed in it.

Our stay at Marcus’s home was perfect for our family. ( including a 1year old) We had everything we needed and more. Great location with easy walking distance of Ayr town and eateries . Also an easy walk to the sea front. What a bonus! Marcus was always responsive to any questions we had and flexible with our arrival times etc. would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ayrshire. Thank you

we stayed here for my partners birthday. i’ve stayed in a lot of different Airbnb’s but Julie was by far the loveliest host i’ve had so far; flexible check in/out, loads of local recommendations, always responsive on messages. her home is on a peaceful main street and still feels rustic whilst still having all the modern amenities which is something i love. the house is filled with great books, comfy beds, games, cookware etc. a perfect stay, we cannot recommend enough. a perfect base if you want to explore Wigtown / Port William / Isle of Whithorn.

My husband and his hiking friend had a wonderful two days' walking in glorious weather. The "Twa Dugs" pub nearby had great bar food and hospitality. House was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean. The only comment was that the house was more difficult to locate as they arrived in the dark. Would have no hesitation in recommending this house. Many thanks.
