Wonderful flat Spotless Very Confortable Great Location Very Private Very Quiet Easy access to Town

Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

We were a family of 5 and spent 3 nights in Rachel’s apartment. Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Location is excellent. A couple mins to tram and easy walk to all the sights. Near lots of places to eat too and a Tesco express just around the corner. There were boxes of toys in the app which were great for entertaining our 5 year old. Rachel had everything labelled so you know where everything is and how everything works. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

The apartment is very attractive and was spotlessly clean. The overview of the harbour from the balcony provides lots of interest with the comings and goings of the local fishing boats. Central location is convenient for Arbroath amenities, and other Angus destinations are in easy reach. Very much recommended and hope to get back up soon.

What an amazing apartment everything from the place itself to the location was perfect walking distance to beautiful Edinburgh city centre with lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate area ! Valentina is a great host too

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

Magical, relaxing, calming, surrounded by beauty and nature. We cannot recommend Miep and Derrywood highly enough. Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. We had a fabulous overnight stay at Janette's place on our travel south from Wester Ross. As a party of five, including two dogs and a toddler, we were thoroughly impressed by the property's welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. The house was impeccably clean, creating a cosy and inviting environment. The spacious living areas allowed us to relax comfortably, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare a quick evening. The outside spaces were a wonderful bonus, providing a great space for our dogs to stretch their legs and for us to enjoy some fresh air. Janette was a great host, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay, including a travel cot and high chair for our toddler. The location was perfect for a restful stopover, with easy access to local shops and EV chargers. We highly recommend Janette's place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. It was the ideal stopover location on our return travel home!

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

The house was lovely and easily accommodated our family of six, including children and accessibility needs. Marie was very accommodating and had provided a well stocked kitchen and helpful guidance on using the features of the property.

What a gem of a place. Perfect location for our spa day at Gleneagles. Beautifully appointed, the beds were so comfortable and we got the best sleep. Everything you could need for a stay away.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Perfect Air B n B. Situation about 15 minute walk from the centre of Edinburgh. Not too busy and plenty of bars and cafes. As I am training for the London Marathon I needed to get some runs in so ran to Leith and back because it was a bit of an incline into the centre of Edinburgh. Lovely cafe / restaurant called The Brunswick on the corner. We had drinks there and breakfast on the day we checked out. Many supermarkets within walking distance and cafe / deli's. We ate at Mama Roma's one evening which was lovely. My husband is Coeliac and we were amazed to find bars with GF beer on tap. The apartment iitself was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very high stabdard of furnishings. Kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms very clean and super comfortable beds. Tiny niggles were that the towels were abot small and toiletries provided were bottles of half used shampoo and shower gel. Would be nice to have miniatures like in a hotel as the rest of the apartment and experience was high end.

Best location possible. Also very clear instructions and great communication which I find very important when travelling to a new place. Highly recommend.

Fabulous long weekend @ Jude’s felt like a real home from home, had everything we needed and more! Beautiful decor which made you feel extra relaxed. Comfortable beds, nice and cosy. One of my parents has a visual impairment so the discreet grab rails and walk in shower in bathroom combined with grab rail in patio area where so helpful. Thanks for everything.

The apartment is in a good location with good transport link via bus and train for our stay in Edinburgh. Apartment was clean and well furnished. Sue was really helpful before our visit and responded quickly our questions. Would definitely recommend a stay here

So this is one of the few times that a place exceeded our expectations! The Airbnb listing isn't the most accurate - it states it's a studio apartment, free street parking, and the pictures are somewhat outdated. Luckily, the description told me there were 3 bedrooms. There's actually garage or resident parking, which was a big deal for us, and also the inside was fantastic! Very clean and comfortable, very spacious, lots of windows. The location was super quiet and peaceful, yet right in the city and very walkable! Can't recommend this listing enough!
