We had a pleasant stay at Périgord Noir thanks to the good location of Francis' cottage. The cottage is very well decorated and above all super well-equipped. The garden is a real plus for a family with children like us and Francis is very friendly and accommodating on the arrival time. We recommend Francis and his place for a peaceful stay!

We had a very pleasant stay of 12 days with four people. In the house it stays cool inside, even if it is very hot outside. The house is cozily furnished in French and much bigger than the pictures suggest. The garden with a swimming pool is heaven on earth. You will have privacy and lots of shade through the trees. The only drawbacks: the chairs and the sofa in the sitting area. These are very old and therefore not suitable for people with back problems. The biggest plus: the photos in the listing don't show the house well. In reality, the house and garden are bigger and more beautiful. For us, that was a pleasant surprise. We definitely recommend Jocelyne's home!

We had a wonderful stay in a relaxing, soothing place, ideal for relaxing as a family. Virginie and Olivier are extremely welcoming and caring hosts. They gave us a very pleasant welcome, and it was a sincere pleasure to meet them.

Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

If like me you are looking for a night on the Toulouse-Bordeaux axis, I recommend it. Impeccable apartment, very clean.

We had a great time in this well-equipped, very clean and well-located apartment 2 steps from the main street with its shops Jeannine is a very friendly host, available and ready to help with good advice. For example, when we arrived we couldn't turn on the gas, she didn't hesitate to leave her home, in the cold, when she was sick.

Very nice accommodation, perfectly equipped and tastefully arranged. The amenities, bedding, linens are of very high quality. The kitchen is superb and very ingenious: it is a vaulted cellar!! The lack of natural light is not an inconvenience during this Christmas season. Everything works perfectly . The 4 occupants found their spaces without constraint. Julie gave us good advice on parking our vehicle , not obvious in a city like Sarlat and at this time of year. In total, it was perfect Yves

If you are visiting Sarlat as a couple this is the perfect place, close and safe enough to walk into the town, ( 5-10 mins) you can leave your car/ transport safely at Maggie's. We stayed in "Monet" which had a lovely outside terrace, although close to the main road the garden was so green and lush it didn't feel like that. The apartment was well equipped, we only stayed 2 nights but you could easily stay for a week or more with the amenities on offer. Finally Maggie and Ahn were charming and were on hand for any queries. We plan on returning and will recommend to our friends.

Accommodation with everything you need. Location near the historic center. Marie France with her sympathy and charm made the arrival and reception exceptional. We arrived late at night. Would recommend and to repeat.

we are very satisfied with our stay , except that we had to leave a day earlier notifying the owners because I had health problems and I had to come back soon to see my doctor in the seine maritime. carol and gerard were sorry for us but I had no choice. we hope one day go back but we will warn friends who could go there one day. thank you again to the very friendly owners. didier and bernadette

Great stay! Appartement is sparkling clean, good bedding, friendly host and quiet neighborhood. Easy and short walking to the wonderful city of Sarlat. Closed box space for your city car if not easy parking in the residence. We will be back for sure. Thank you Muriel!
