Family-friendly holiday rentals in Eanjum

I've loved my stay in this beautiful cottage and will always remember the serene feeling of watching the pond, the ducks and the snow through the big windows of the house. The house is cute, well equipped and my quite long stay was very comfortable because of it. Thank you!

A wonderful place, with a lot of privacy, in a beautiful environment. The cottage is very fully furnished. Also ideal if you have a dog, due to the fully enclosed garden. A car or bike is useful because shops are a couple of miles away. Nearby you can go hiking (e.g. at the Meeuwenplas) in particularly beautiful nature. Stephan is a friendly and welcoming host. All in all, it definitely makes a place you want to go back to.

Jenneke is very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing relaxing time and hopefully can come back some day. The house is spacious with a nice outside area, weather permitting. I just love Dwingeloo.

Together with 2 friends, I had a wonderful stay with Jurjen and Barbara. When we arrived, we were very kindly received by Jurjen. The cottage was clean and cosy and had everything we were looking for. We were big fans of the cozy bedstee. We also made good use of the sauna and hot tub: very nice in the cold outdoor air. In the area you can walk well through nature, a great place to clear your head. Finally, the communication with Jurjen was top and he was very helpful. All in all, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Nic's place -- we were a group of 10 people and the house felt more than big enough for everyone. Everything that we needed was right there, all the instructions were super clear and it was the perfect backdrop to our 1920s murder mystery game. We didn't really get to see much of the surrounding area because the house was so much fun to hang out it (and we were feeling lazy). The highlight for us was definitely the massage chair and jacuzzi bath -- so so relaxing!!

We enjoyed a family weekend in the beautiful farmhouse. The house is large and especially very cozy. Everything we needed was actually also available. Certainly subject to repetition!

We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. It is a very cozy cottage. Sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Marlies had taken the trouble to decorate the cottage in Christmas atmospheres. There was even a Christmas tree. She also had a delicious Christmas turban at the bakery. We really felt at home. We had some bad luck with the weather but you can walk here with various excursions within walking distance. Maybe not the cheapest place to stay but really worth the money.

The calmest and coziest little getaway cottage you could find! We had such an incredible time in Annedoor's sweet house. There is a designated parking spot that could fit our van, we were greeted to a lovely and warm house on an extremely cold January weekend (the two stoves are perhaps the centerpiece of the house - so warm and easy to manage. My boyfriend wanted to build a fire, I was happy to use the more modern stove). The house is perfect - there is so much space, all the amenities you could possibly need. We enjoyed a great selection of CDs and records with a lovely sound system. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - we made some fresh pasta and pancakes (there's even stroop provided!). Full collection of games to play, books to read if you forgot them. The house was absolutely spotless, there's some lovely national parks closeby and there are two supermarkets only a 5 min drive away. Highly recommend. Thanks Annedoor :)

Lydia is a wonderful host. Easy to talk with and very flexible. Lovely tiny house outside, perfect to be alone and focus on ourselves. Even if the bathroom is in the house in front of the garden, it's very cosy and clean. I can't imagine during summertime, it seems perfect.

Reinder and Inge are very friendly people. A warm welcome. A nice location. We were even allowed to celebrate New Year's Eve with Reinder, Inge and the neighborhoods. It was very cozy. We will definitely be back sometime. Regards, Minguel and Sonja (The Vacation Goer😀)

Jacinta is a great host. Outstanding hospitality. A nice touch of the complementary wine as well as the coffee on arrival. Every morning an excellent and varied breakfast with nice little touches. We also opted for the cheese fondue after reading the reviews from other people and we can say that this was also excellent with a great selection of food to dip into the cheese.

What a wonderful place! I have very much enjoyed staying in this lovely house for a few days. Nice beds, nice village and so much to see and walk in the area. Recommended!

We spent 6 nights with our two dogs at Marc's place and felt at home during that time. Marc is a great host who is always easily accessible; Bea visited us and helped us with questions. The small house is cozily furnished and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything. We loved sitting on the cozy veranda and enjoyed the great view. The surroundings are quiet, there is a lot of nature and there are many easily accessible excursion destinations nearby. Marc also provides bicycles and a boat, which we did not use. All in all, we were thrilled, enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

Great place to unwind. Super spacious and cosy place that's also good for kids. Lots of toys available, highchairs and cott / kids bed. Tons of sights to see and things to do in the surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

We had a very nice stay at Henk & Trea's place. The place had everything we needed for a relaxing few days and was just right for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surroundings are very beautiful and thanks to the private terrace overlooking nature all around, it was easy to start the day in the morning and watch deer with luck. The chalet is really very lovingly decorated and cozy. That's why it wasn't bad that we weren't lucky with the weather. Henk was very accommodating, helpful, and always available. All in all we had a very nice holiday and definitely recommend the place! Thank you for everything :)

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

This is our second stay at Els and Melson's and we once again enjoyed the warm welcome, the exchanges about activities in the area, and the games between our respective children. The ducks and chickens had their chicks which made the stay even more bucolic! We will come back and love the area. Thank you for your kindness

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

We stayed during winter time and enjoyed Arenda‘s and Klaas‘ cozy place very much! The big main room was perfect for our group of 8 people to spend time together, do some cooking etc. The hosts were super friendly at all times caring about our wellbeing! We even had the chance to see Klaas feeding the Alpacas 😁 Overall, we can highly recommend the cottage!

It was a great vacation, not least because the weather was great. But we also felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Renee responded very quickly and kindly to all questions.

We stayed for a weekend on Ameland with Annemieke & Kars. We were kindly welcomed by Annemieke and communication was top. The cottage is perfect with a cozy living room and nice facilities. Our four-legged friends were also welcome. The cottage has a nice restaurant and Spar around the corner and you can park there. Perfect base! We enjoyed and definitely recommend staying here.
