Holiday rentals with breakfast in East Devon District

We had a lovely stay at Georgie's peaceful and well thought out little retreat. A gorgeous getaway in the most stunning location; we enjoyed soaking up the sea views from the beautifully maintained garden, and exploring the coastal walks from the property. Georgie is a perfect host, kind and helpful. I really enjoyed our chat over breakfast.

My second stay with Rosemarie. Once again, everything was spot on. Lovely, friendly host, great communications and a good night’s sleep.

Lovely home in a beautiful location with a super comfortable bed and friendly host. I was welcomed and made to feel right at home and was offered breakfast which was so generous and thoughtful. This is in a quiet location nestled in nature.

What an absolute gem, the accommodation is spotless and so comfortable. It’s in a brilliant location for exploring the surrounding areas. There were so many thoughtful touches, lots of choice for breakfast. The dog is lovely, well behaved and doesn’t make a sound. The rooms have everything you need. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

David is a very considerate and friendly host, showing us round on our arrival and giving us some really helpful info on the local area. His communication is swift and the house thoughtfully prepared. It was perfect for our family with all the amenities we could have asked for. Washer, dryer, washing line and hosepipe, perfect for anyone hitting the beach every day! A great holiday let, i'm sure we'll be back.

Rie’s Retreat is magical. I, how the retreat for 10 women here, and it was idyllic. Her home is spacious, beautiful, peaceful and full of space to reflect and connect, including the most beautiful gardens with dozens of different flowers growing. Her space is filled with positive energy, you can feel the healing powers on the land. And Rie is incredible! First, she is so friendly, personable, and fun! She is also so helpful about everything you need, whether it’s recommendations for activities, or transportation or grocery shopping. She is also an incredible chef, and I highly recommend having her cook your meals for you, as she will make you feel so well fed, pampered, and taken care of. Her meals are healthy and delicious! Even her healthy continental breakfast and snacks are amazing! We all loved the space and the beauty. It’s so close to town and to all Glastonbury sites. I will definitely bring groups of women back here, as Rie is now a friend and sister to us all.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host puts a lot of care and attention into making the space welcoming and comfortable. The little touches really stood out — fresh real flowers, cozy blankets, and even an electric blanket for extra warmth. The space itself was neat, tidy, and had a lovely, homey feel. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including fresh croissants, milk, juice, jam, granola, tea, and sugar. Plus, the robes and high-quality toiletries were a nice touch! The view was beautiful, making our stay even more relaxing. Most of all, the host was absolutely lovely and clearly dedicated to creating a great experience for her guests. Highly recommend!

Most of all, Eric and Mel are lovely, interesting and attentive hosts, making the whole experience an absolute pleasure every time. 10 out of 10, couldn’t possibly recommend more!

Exactly as described and perfect for a young family of 4 visiting bath city centre. Immacutely clean and everything we needed for our short stay. Instructions discreetly all over the house guiding how to use the heating, oven, wifi etc. Perfect location. Thank you so much!

A clean, tidy and well maintained flat that was a pleasure to stay in! It was clear the host takes great care of this property. My mum and I were here for three days, enjoying the private patio and range of amenities such as Tesco round the corner. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area with handy recommendations in Annemarie's guest folder. Also just want to shout out the spotless bathroom. A lovely experience.

The Garden Flat is in a lovely quiet location with easy access to the city centre by bus or car. It is perfectly equipped and lovely and warm and light. This is our second visit and our stay was as perfect this time as our first visit. Thank you Denise for making us so welcome.

Fantastic quirky cute old smithy house. So unique. It was like staying in a little antique shop. It is a little creeky as to be exspected with a very old house. The area was very peaceful and quiet. I took the dogs out at 11.30pm & 6.30 am. You could hear the owls & church bells. The little old tumble down cathedral & grave yard at the back of the house make for a beautiful view out the window. Mary herself was a fantastic host. Really enjoyed talking with her over breakfast and learning how very similar to my mother she was lol. Wish I'd paid more attention about the biography to chat about the basket making. Woolly & Buster the dogs were little stars & very good boys to welcome our girls into their house without issue.

Just what we needed for a one night stay. The room is small but has everything you need and is very warm. Breakfast was delicious and Lizzie and her husband were kind and friendly.

We loved staying at Belinda's, it couldn't have been a nicer experience. The location was perfect, rural and quiet but close to public transport. Dartington Hall is a lovely walk. Belinda communicated clearly and quickly. Well worth the value!

I stayed at Polly’s as I was swimming in an event that weekend. It is extremely well located for the town and the river, and a cosy room. Polly produced breakfast for me (very nice too, hadn’t read this in the description!), and was very welcoming. Good wifi despite the thick stone walls of the old building. Do note there are steep stairs up to the room! Also, there is no TV but a wonderful little cinema in the town.
