The cottage is nestled in the lovely village of Wyke Regis, tucked away just off the quiet Old High street and close to both Weymouth and Portland. Perfect for small families/couples + dogs. Within easy walk of small beaches, coastal walks and amenities such as dog friendly pub, Tesco Express and takeaways. Portland harbour is a mere 2 miles away as is the World famous Chesil Beach which forms part of the Jurassic coast. South West Coast Path is minutes walk away, perfect for a stop over.

There is an additional double sofa bed in the second living room. The property is moments from popular Ashley Cross with its bustling bars and restaurants and only a five minute drive to the award winning beaches of Sandbanks and Branksome Chine. Guests also have the open spaces of Poole Park only 5 minutes walk away.

Property is seaside/beach theme, refurbishing and updating when no guests are booked, new king size bed, new sitting room and bedroom carpets. Stair basket for shoes at entrance. The cottage backs onto paddocks where the owners shetland ponies, pet sheep and chickens live and our younger guests are welcome to come and meet them.

A warm welcome to our riverside cottage, a two bedroom quiet retreat located in the New Forest national park with lovely walks and cycle paths to see the ponies and other wildlife. It’s only a 20 min drive to the medieval city of Salisbury and 30-40 min drive to the sandy beaches of the South Coast. We have a friendly local village shop and pub within walking distance, and a fabulous ‘water-hole’ for swimming a few mins walk down the lane.
