Holiday rentals with breakfast in East Gippsland Shire

Exactly what we needed, less than a 5 minute drive to the main stretch. The house was spotless and exactly as described. We asked for a late check-out on the day and luckily Dave was able to accommodate that on that particular day and got back to me straight away, even offering us more time than we asked for. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for a stay in Lakes Entrance. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Rocher’s nest. The house was big and comfortable and very nicely decorated. We even had a Christmas tree and gifts. The large kitchen was perfect for cooking and baking. Everything felt safe and clean. The host really had made an effort for making us feel at home. The village and beach was in walking distance and we enjoyed swimming and watching the sunset. Thank you for a nice and comfortable stay!

Nestled “in the middle of nowhere” is exactly that! It was perfect for what we wanted. Time to really switch off and just relax. The Bendoc pub was great to experience it on Saturday. And the local history of Bendoc was great. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and peaceful.

The location of this place is amazing. Stunning views of the water at the front & the rear deck backs on to the rainforest. We really enjoyed the gorgeous ocean breeze & massive deck which is great for alfresco eating & enjoying the local wildlife. Beautiful gardens & surrounds. Great facilities & friendly hosts.

Great place with awesome amenities. Very clean. Villas have everything you could possibly need. Games room is A+, but closes early. I'll likely be back. There is sand flies, so make sure you bring your aeroguard/deet.

We loved our stay. The outlook onto a blanket of trees made im us instantly relax and we loved having the native birds and wildlife come and visit us each day. We love Tathra, and have been coming here for many years. There’s heaps to do within a few minutes drive with inlets and beaches, cafes and shops all nearby. The house is very unique and has been beautifully appointed. Everything we needed was there, including a very well stocked kitchen which we really appreciated. Helen was great throughout our stay, very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning place! Everything was perfect from the get go! Lynn met us at the property and showed us around and was in constant communication and went as far as giving us advice on what to do each day! The fridge was stocked up with lovely goodies and the amenities in the pantry were fantastic. The place itself was amazingly spectacular with some stunning views, not to mention how remarkably clean it was too!! The location was fantastic too only a 5 minute drive to orbost town which has everything! There is no doubt we will stay again! (We actually extended our stay by a day purely because of how awesome the place was as well!).

Lovely comfortable place and walking distance to town. Was a perfect peaceful getaway for a family of four and pet dog.

We stayed at Jody's apartment in Lakes Entrance for 4 nights over new years eve The flat was a great size, well appointed and walkable from the various restaurants and attractions of Lakes. The apartment was comfortable with a large TV / dining room and sofas, along with balconies on both the front and back of the building. The front balcony has a view of the Esplanade, just behind some other apartments in the complex, and the back balcony looks out across a row of houses to a view of the Lakes. Overall we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay and would recommend the apartment to others visiting the area. The one worthwhile point to note is that the apartment does not have Wifi (as far as we could tell), so if needed, just make sure to have access to data on your mobile.

Perfect place to stay close to river & walking tracks.Very hot when I arrived but fan in the unit was enough to cool the unit.Cam & Selina are excellent hosts with lots of local knowledge.

I had a great stay at Patsy’s. Her home is full of character and plants (beautiful garden too) and I felt right at home. Patsy was super friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just loved this house, we had such a great stay! Comfy, clean and perfect for our doggy with a great outdoor area that was secure. The house was walkable distance to the Metung cafes so a great location. Would definitely stay again!

Overall view is excellent : Beautifully presented, spacious, fantastic bathroom, kitchen and living space. Well equipped in a quiet street. The view was not quite as hoped as trees have grown to obscure the lagoon. Still a lovely outlook though. Some noise coming from the apartment above. Parking is provided but down a steep slope. Care is required. Particularly at night.

Perfect place to break up a long drive and unwind. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Rooms include small bar fridge but main eating area is in a shared space set up like a restaurant with tables spaced apart. The kitchen in this area has everything you need to prepare a meal but could be busy when booked out if all guest are trying to cook. The included breakfast was one of the main reason we chose this booking and did not disappoint definitely more than acceptable for a $10 inclusive fee. Parking is near reception and not directly outside of rooms but merely less than 15 metres away depending on room. Leaving this review in hopes of others enjoying a stay here as much as we did. Our only regret is not having more time to spend and really enjoy the scenery and explore the grounds. Will definitely come back again!

Absolutely beautiful spot to stay - this will be our new go to every time we go to orbost!

Ling’s place was full of various elements and deserves to explore. She got all our favorites. Nice and healthy breakfast, clean beddings, and even an adorable orange cat(I am a cat lover-_-), to name but a few. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Jo is a wonderful host in an amazing architecturally significant spacious house. She went above and beyond in her helpfulness, even driving onto town to pick up my husband who does not drive. Highly recommend a stay at Jo’s.

Eric and Jennifer were great hosts. Easy to chat with and learn about the environment. The way the rooms were set up was delightful, breakfast on the deck with a gorgeous view was a lovely start to the day. Highly recommend.
