Thank you Sandra for a wonderful stay. We had the most peaceful weekend at your beautiful cottage, what a treat to see the Spring lambs in the field opposite! We loved the hottub and the garden space especially, and the very quick wander to the local village shops and pubs.

Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

A fabulous place! Peaceful and private. The surroundings were stunning and the accommodation was spacious and very special. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym were excellent and very clean and the games room impressive. We had an amazing few days.

Great house in a great location near the beach. Lovely garden and hot tub was an added bonus. Ella was a great host and very responsive.

Cottage really cosy with a beautiful garden. Very modern kitchen which was very well equipped. Bathrooms also modern and clean . Bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of storage. Hot tub was a super feature especially after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful interior space and quiet and peaceful surroundings, loved watching the resident ducks on the pond in back. The wood fired hot tub was great to have after a long day of walking, and it also was a big plus to have a winery and cidery with food within walking distance. Would most definitely stay again!

Louise's Hideaway is a slice of Sussex heaven. The property is stunning, and the treetop view offers the most wonderful opportunity to watch a range of birds. I arrived pretty confident in my ability to identify robins and starlings - ;) - but can now recognise chiffchaffs and firecrests! Even the most reluctant ornithologists will be entertained. The Hideaway is also stylish and spacious, with various woodland walks on the doorstep. Louise's reflexology treatment is healing and relaxing too. I can't imagine a better place to unwind, or more welcoming hosts. Thank you, Louise. I hope to return.

We had a great stay at the cottage. Right in the centre of the town, everything we wanted to do was walkable for us. The cottage was beautiful and warm with everything we needed. We were there to relax mid winter - reading, walks, lazy brunches and pub meals - and it was perfect for this.

It was such a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick! Everything was perfect and all the family so lovely and welcoming. The cottage, the surroundings, the animals, the region, .. I will come back soon for sure!

The house is very pleasant and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and cook meals, which is very useful as this part of Sussex, and Alfriston itself, has really good quality food available. The sitting room and bedrooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The village of Alfriston is also beautiful, with at least 4 good pubs and restaurants, and a simple walk around the Tye beside the river and church is wonderful.

Beautiful stay at Esme's cottage. We stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful area, we saw rabbits and deers in the garden which was fab! The cottage was lovely, cosy and clean. We had a great night sleep in the comfy bed. The shower is amazing too. We will deffo be returning.

Caroline's cottage was so peaceful and beautiful, set in a gorgeous setting. Caroline provided groceries for a cooked breakfast as well as croissants, which was a great touch and saved us the issue of finding local shops etc. It was lovely waking up to bird song. We loved the way Caroline's ducks came to greet us as we set off each day. Thank you Caroline for responding to any enquiries so swiftly too. Your cottage was so cosy and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Marion was incredibly accommodating & warmly welcomed us on our arrival . The cottage was perfectly positioned and Marion had gone out of her way to make us feel at home- especially with our toddler . Plenty of toys and baby equipment which was greatly appreciated. We loved the gorgeous courtyard and had a lovely stroll to the nearby cafe which was a great way to spend a morning with playground and great coffee! A wonderful trip and one we would love to come back to! Thank you

Booked to stay at Jane’s beautiful cottage for nearly a month, due to a water leak making my home not safe to live in. From the first enquiry, Jane has been amazing, she is so reassuring, friendly, welcoming and proactive. She really helped to ease me in this difficult time. The property is exactly as described on her page and it’s safe to say it is certainly a home from home. It had all the amenities I needed to live as I would at home, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the living room cosy and the garden is gorgeous for when the sun is shining. Plenty of parking for our cars and even more reassurance being behind a private gate too. Even my dog settled into this property quickly and made herself at home! Although I didn’t need them, it was nice to see a selection of local guides, booklets and maps in the cottage for those not familiar with the area. I can’t recommend Jane and her cottage enough, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to stay to anyone visiting the area!

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage from December 29th to January 1st, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The cottage was well-maintained, super cosy, and felt like a perfect little escape. Here are some of the highlights: Location The cottage is right on the edge of the South Downs, and waking up to those fantastic views every morning was such a treat. It’s also conveniently close to Newhaven for shopping, with reliable and frequent public transport options. We rented a car for part of our stay, and while parking near the cottage can be a bit tight for larger vehicles (as the listing clearly mentions), it wasn’t a major issue for us. One of the things we loved most was the tranquillity—you could hear nothing at night, which was such a refreshing change. If you’re visiting in winter, don’t forget your boots for those beautiful South Downs walks! The house is absolutely gorgeous and was spotless. It's probably the best equipped place I have stayed in, has everything you need and more. The location on the high street is ideal for all the local shops and a great pub. Mike was a delight and communicated very efficiently. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Great stay at the mini barn - Very clean and had no issues throughout the stay - Felt right at home. Great local tips and communication from Romy. The hot water was easily reset under the sink & Romy was super helpful with locating the button - Only had to press this once during the week. Definitely would recommend for a short break away with sunrise/set views.

My family and I were in Esher visiting friends for the holidays and we couldn't have been happier with this cottage. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and was a warm and inviting retreat from the British cold. It's very private, spacious (for our family of 4) and has all of the amenities that one would need for their stay. The communication process through the entire booking process and stay was excellent. If you are in the area and looking for a great rental, this is the place. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed at Nicks place while our home was being renovated. We ended up staying for longer due to builders delays and Nick was extremely helpful and flexible making our situation much easier. The house is so cosy and we felt at home right away. Had everything we needed including the enclosed private garden. The village restaurants/pubs are within walking distance as is the beach so the location is perfect. Thank you Nick for helping us out!
