BEACH HOUSE: sleeps 14 right on Sea / Beach / Sand

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

We had a fantastic weekend here. The weather was beautiful so we spent most of the time on the beach which is really close by. Some lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The place is lovely, beautifully furnished and nice touches of tea coffee milk and also delicious cakes! We would definitely return.

We stayed with our family here, on arrival the apartment was clean and welcoming and Carl went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The location is a short walk from the beach, a 5 min drive to Christchurch and in walking distance of Highcliff Castle. Although the apartment is part of the main house it has a separate entrance so you have lots of privacy. We would stay here again!

Had a fantastic weekend for my husbands 40th birthday. You don’t have to leave the cottage as there is so much to do, but the pool is by far the show stopper. We spent many an hour in there, the temperature was fab. Weymouth is just a short 10 min drive where there is so much to do so it’s in a great location. House was spotless, amenities amazing. Cannot fault a thing. Andrew is very responsive and friendly. We will be back!

We enjoyed staying at David’s. It’s halfway between Poole Harbour and Sandbanks, set back on a quiet road with easy parking at weekends. House is well equipped and felt spacious. Perfect for a family break. Five minute walk to huge park, boating lake and children’s playgrounds.

A cottage of dreams! We absolutely loved our stay at Kings Cottage… the house was perfect - so beautifully done and well kitted out. Stunning garden for the children to play in and the most gorgeous picture perfect setting in Kingston Deverill. Wow, what a stunning location. It's every bit as beautiful as in the photos. We watched glorious sunsets from the terrace and enjoyed walks on the beach. I enjoyed looking around the immaculately kept gardens and could have watched the colourful koi in the pond for hours, plus the two cute horses in the field. Andrew's directions to the house are spot-on, please don't trust your satnav or you risk being taken down some very narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle and no passing places. Ask me how I know. There is no mobile reception at the house, as you would expect given the location, but the wifi is very good. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

We only stayed one night as it was a stop off on our way to Cornwall but we were so gutted we didn’t book for longer. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The park was perfect for our two children. The views were amazing. We had everything we needed for our stay and appreciated the basics that were provided such as tea and coffee. The hot tub was lovely and warm and we were able to see the stars well in the evening. We requested a high chair which was ready on arrival and check in instructions were clear. We would definitely consider returning for a longer stay next time. Thank you so much :)

We couldn’t have asked for anything more from Tristan’s place. Right on the beach with lots to do, everything walkable, and in the most ideal of setting. Tristan’s house is immaculate and we all felt right at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We had the most wonderful time. The church was fantastic and it felt a privilege to stay in a historic building that was also comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. literally a home from home. We had a wonderful stay in Cara‘s Portland cottage. We were there over Christmas week. Cara had decorated the house beautifully for Christmas and was really responsive to every request. We know Portland well and have many friends we were there to visit, so we already knew what a fabulous place it is to be. The cottage was really well stocked with all the equipment we needed and more. Cara left us a fabulous hamper of Christmas bits and bobs - so much we couldn’t get through it all! Thank you, Cara. We will be back!

Jo was a perfect host the welcome basket was full of lovely food. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you need. It was a lovely place to stay and the view from the garden was just so nice watching lambs in the field playing. Our dog wasn’t left out he had treats left for him and the garden was perfect for him. I celebrated my birthday while there and Jo gave me a card and some flowers which was very kind of her she was the perfect host. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would.

highly recommend staying here. As everyone has said pictures don't do justice to the beautiful private garden you have (which is enclosed so can relax with our dog) theres also a table and two seats outside. We had perfect weather when we stayed, just got cold at night but the log burner was perfectly cosy in the yurt. Good value for money and a great way to relax and escape.

We had a lovely stay in Ganders Cottage, with two young children. The cottage was spotlessly clean, pleasant to stay in and we put the patio to good use by having breakfast there every day. We even spotted a pheasant from the garden. The kids enjoyed the cottage and it was very family friendly. We only regret not taking the time to explore the farm and walk the area. The cottage was ideally situated to explore the Jurassic Coast, and we had many lovely outings to the nearby beaches. Charlotte and Robin were great hosts, attentive yet unintrusive, kind and thoughtful. They gave us good tips before and during the stay.

A very well appointed and comfortable property with pretty much everything you would need. Excellent kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities, sitting / dining and very spacious bedroom. We would gladly stay again and would not hesitate to recommend it to any couple, or a couple with a child.
