Kid-friendly holiday rentals in East Nusa Tenggara

This place is spacious, relaxing and really lovely to hang out at. Immense master bedroom with great sea & sky vistas, great kitchen with large fridge and good cooktop - and icing on the cake - a fantastic pool. It's close enough to Nembrala town/port & super close to Tuesday market location. The staff are discreet and sweet. We went as a couple but if our kids were younger it would've been an ideal spot also.

We stayed for 2 nights and we really like this place. It’s cozy and you can find anything that you need as travelers: utensils in kitchen, many electrical outlets, etc. They even provide us with eggs, cookies, and instant noodles! Rooms are nice, neat, and clean. Mama Nita is also a great host. She will do everything she can to make your stay comfortable. The only drawback is that one of the glass walls in the front bedroom doesn’t have curtains. At night, the bright light from the garden shines into the bedroom. As a result, we couldn’t sleep well because the room couldn’t be darkened. Our suggestion is to add curtains to that part. Other than that, we like this place and recommend it for anyone who want to stay in the heart of Labuan Bajo.

We had a great stay at the White House. Sally is an excellent host, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The house layout is well-suited for a large group or family. We hope to return with our extended family and take both sides of the house while sharing the living space. The sunsets are a dream, and the view from the sofa is incredible.

This place is great! We really enjoyed it. Good value and very clean. In the centre of Labuan Bajo. Can easily walk to waterfront or nearby shops/ grocery store or pharmacy. We did not find it loud at all but earplugs were available. We did not use them and were not disturbed one bit. The host was amazing and very accommodating for our stay/ needing a bit extra time before check out. Thank you!!

This has been our most fabulous and remarkable airbnb experience. Rote Island is a truly magical place and staying at this particular Villa makes it all more special. The house has a fantastic design, really pleasing to the eyes and quite smart to live in as well. All is spacious and very ventilated. The views are breathtaking. The swimming pool and the sea are always a source of delight. Sylvia is the most amazing host. Extremely attentive and communicative, solving everything needed for a wonderful experience. The staff has also been a highlight. Sonya who cleans, Okto the handyman and Rebecca the amazing cook are very pleasant to be around and also extremely attentive and skilled at what they do. We felt so well taken care of. Dave and I came to Rote to work from home and learn to surf while here. It has been the most perfect place to do that. Sylvia recommended us a great surf coach and Rote is a fabulous place to learn it. Using our mobile 4G internet has been totally successful to host our business calls and taking breaks by the pool or walks on the beach has been amazing. I really recommend this house and the whole experience.

A peaceful stay with a beautiful view. The dinners prepared by Desi (available for a reasonable additional cost) were so delicious and varied that we ended up requesting them each night of our stay. The air conditioning worked beautifully in the bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture was also very comfortable and inviting. A wonderful big water bubbler provided bottled water, but without so much plastic waste, which we really appreciated. We were there in the rainy season, and a fan and mosquito coils are made available for the unsealed, non a/c living areas. There was a problem with the upstairs room the first night which the host immediately and generously solved. This is a lovely place to enjoy gracious Indonesian hospitality and beautiful natural environs.

Perfection!! For anyone looking to getaway and immerse themselves in nature, this is the place. Spectacular views, gorgeous sunsets, crystal clear water for snorkeling, monkeys, and much more. Maximilian and his staff embraced us like family friends rather than guests. Tidying the house, laundry, delivering fresh coconut water, organizing scooters, and pointing us in the right direction regarding food, massage, and anything else we needed. Be sure to check out Boa Gardens restaurant owned by Maximilian's mom, Cindy as well. She is delightful and the food she serves is a special treat. If we make it back to Rote, we would most definitely be staying here. Thank you for everything!
