This place is perfect for those seeking a great homestay experience. The hosts are non-intrusive and very helpful, going out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Kessang is a fantastic chef! Every meal was DELICIOUS and thoughtfully prepared. The millet soup especially stole my heart. An enthusiastic trekker, he also led me through the dense forests around the area, crossing villages consisting of a few houses and tranquil landscapes. He also arranged a driver for me to visit the historic Kabi-Lungchok and all the ancient monasteries in the area, and accompanied me there, telling me as much as he could about Lepcha history, Buddhist thangka’s and rituals. An extra thanks for the warm mugs of chhi after the long days. :D I highly recommend this old and cozy cottage to anyone who plans a trip to sikkim.

I recently visited Pranati Bed n Breakfast at Kalimpong, a charming hill station and was surprised and mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the majestic Kanchenjunga from the terrace. The property nestled amidst lush green lawns and with a delectable home cooked cuisine offered a serene escape. Each morning, of our stay we woke to the stunning panorama of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga, which seemed to change hues with the rising sun. Prashant was always available to extend an arm for any help we requested. The tranquil atmosphere and picturesque landscapes made the experience truly unforgettable.

Tried Airbnb for the first time. Stayed with my spouse and 7 months old baby. it was overall awesome experience and location was great with scenic beauty around. Leon was responsive all the time and helped us throughout the stay. At the end he gifted us a tibetan incense and a gamocha as a sign of hospitality and respect. will definitely visit to other properties as well.

Our stay at Leon's was incredible. The Airbnb is gorgeous, easily accessible, and spacious. Prasan, our direct point of contact at the Airbnb, was super helpful and explained all our questions simply. The Airbnb is located right next to Kalimpong Cafe and a new cafe serving really good food, especially Korean. It's also an easy walk down to the main town and market. Za Khang, serving Bhutanese food, is just 15 mins away on foot, Mayfair 10, and if we went there at any other time we would have had a beautiful view from our Airbnb of the mountains. The place has two bathrooms, TV, wifi, geyser, and all the amenities you would need. It's absolutely gorgeous with all the wooden furniture and glass panelling as well :) the only thing to note were the bathrooms, which tend to begin smelling a bit due to ventilation issues. Overall, a 10/10 experience, will definitely revisit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Leon's! Very comfortable and exactly as described. This was our first visit to Kalimpong and we enjoyed the town so much. Za Khang restaurant up above the Airbnb was so delicious. Highly recommend breakfast and coffee at Art Cafe also! We utilized Leon's recommendation for a driver one day and visited Delo Park. It was so interesting to hear the history of the area. Leon went above and beyond when we had a hiccup in our departure, and we are so grateful for his help. Highly recommend this stay!

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Had a wonder week-long stay at Leon's. - Great space with all the essentials for a longer stay; all the amenities are there. You'll feel like you're at home - The view's great. From the balcony and terrace, very picturesque - The place is about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the bus stand. In a residential area. Quite and peaceful and safe. - Prasan, the property manager, was always accessible. His brother Rajesh, who'd be on the property, was super kind and helpful. Absolutely loved the place. Had a great workation experience. Would definitely return!! If anyone's traveling to Kalimpong, this is the perfect property to stay at. Thank you to Prasan, Rajesh, and Leon.

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. Location is safe and reachable for services like zomato etc. Host is friendly and responsive, I got all the details proactively. Overall Positive from all POVs.
