Family-friendly holiday rentals in Eden Island, Seychelles

We had a great stay at the apartment. There is everything you need, from the balcony you have a great view of the sea and a parking space is also available. Kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space.

Mary is a delightful and responsive host who takes great care of a lovely house. It is very spacious and clean, with beautiful views of the forest and waves breaking on the horizon. Mary makes a great effort to get to know her guests, giving local recommendations and advice with a smile! There is a lovely terrace which has a great view for dinners and evening activities. We loved the location for its ease to get to several places on the island such as Police Bay, Anse Soleil and Takamaka Rum Distillery to which we all recommend a visit! There is a bus stop down the road but make sure to get a pass to make use of it - we rented a car which we recommend and there is parking for it at the property. Nice accommodation in a nice place surrounded by tropical forest. Mary is communicative and willing to give advice and arrange some trips (a boat trip in our case). She is great cook. Her dinners are amazing. You have to tray it!

Everything was amazing! The villa located just in 1 minute walk from the seaside. On the one of the best beaches on Mahe. Patrick is owner. He was so helpful, the transfer from the airport and back was free. Patrick gave us some fruits from his garden. He helped us to rent a car. We had to check out at 10:30 a.m. but our flight was at 9:10 p.m. so Patrick extended our stay for free. This villa has a room service. They cleaned our apartment every day, changed towels and sheets. The apartment is so big and clean. It has two bedrooms, kitchen and big living room. Fully furnished, with washing machine, iron and hair dryer. The internet is good, but not perfect. But I think this island doesn't have the perfect internet. We even could watch YouTube. I am glad that we decided to stay here. Anse Royale has everything you might need in a walk distance. If we come back here, we will stay in Patrick's villa again.

Mary was a fantastic ‘host’. She kept in close touch before and during our stay checking if we needed anything (eg beach towels that we didn’t have) And so friendly! Nothing was too much bother and a nice touch to have tea, water, fresh fruit and milk on arrival. Also great to have fresh towels every couple of days! She really made our stay feel special. Sarah is the definition of a super host! Very responsive to all my queries but what stood out was the catering she arranged for Christmas Day lunch for 13 people. The food was delicious and consisted of local dishes and traditional Christmas dishes. Way too much food which fed us for the next few days. The house has everything you need. We had 6 kids with us and each of them loved the house, especially the pool area and were super excited that there were pet tortoises. Was certainly a home away from home. I highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will be able to return one day.

Booked for 2 nights and extended this to 3. Sara and Xavier were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us with booking trips and gave lifts to and from the bars and bus stops. Absolutely recommend staying here and would definitely come back. Thank you to you both 😍

A perfect stay ! Sherin is hands down the best Airbnb host I have ever experienced. Friendly, kind, welcoming and charming. We had issues at the aiport with registrations and she was immediately helpful and friendly. The apartment is spotless and the wifi is good enough to work from. The area is peaceful and green. There are tortoises to see and a little old dog roaming the compound who is just the best, the other dogs there are bigger and all are the best of boys / girls as well.

Thanks Josee. Well often choosing a place to stay for safety and its very safe. 2ndly we think how close things attractions airport beach restaurant and supermarket and food stores. Well Seychelles is not a big country and everywhere you drive is in a short distance and available don’t worry at all about shopping catering stuffs. Many people think to stay on a beach but trust me beach areas are very expensive and this accommodation is totally private and safe for family or friends and group to stay enjoy privacy have your own music barbeque kitchen and no need to bring any kitchen equipments or washing. Everything was good. Park car inside enjoy the private pool. Make ur own breakfast or have lunch nearby Suffer Ches Batista or enjoy your dinner in self catering or outside. Seychelles all beaches are beauty near by Tea Factory Botinacal Garden Victoria market sea food cheap take a rent a car remember enjoyment depends on your self Be happy wherever whatever u have . We have stayed with Ronan before and we will definitely come back again! He is a wonderful host. Ronan is available at any time and immediately on the spot - it doesn't get any better than that. Also we really enjoyed using the kayaks. You immediately feel at home. The location of the apartment on Eden Island is one of the best and we have already stayed there in some other apartments. The apartment is also very special due to the beautiful garden. A special thank you also goes to Lisette - she is the house fairy, which is always cheerful and also available at any time and makes her job great! We love the Seychelles and Eden Island and look forward to next time at Ronan's!

We were allowed to check in as early as 8 am as our flight arrived early. Everything was as described. The garden is magnificent, the accommodation is on its own - without seeing neighboring houses. Nevertheless, you can quickly reach beautiful beaches, shopping or other places. We had a rental car, I would recommend it too. We had a very nice stay and felt completely comfortable.

I want to thank Sarah and her husband Gavin for their exceptional hospitality. Their apartment is amazing and is located in one of the best places on Eden Island. Quiet, peaceful and with incredible views. The apartment is furnished with everything you need down to the smallest detail. I would describe our stay in just one word - Fantastic! This is one of the best places to stay in Seychelles, close to everything on the whole island. A little paradise and everything is there at Eden Island: some amazing beaches, most of the good restaurants are on Eden island, a supermarket with an underground parking. Emil did great pre communication, with the SEBS and Julia was one-call away, she welcomed us when we arrived, gave very clear instructions and information, helped us with laundry pods and so on. The place of Julia and Emil was amazing, very comfy bed, fan, a/c, spacious bathroom, nice warm shower, balcony with a view, we enjoyed driving the buggy car on the island. It's really well located on Eden island, super close to a ' private beach ', close to the gym and the sports field, easy to get to the parking complex where our rental car was parked, to the Eden Plaza (supermarket and stores) and the restaurants. And only 10 minutes away from the airport. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Julia and Emil.

We had a wonderful stay in Georges apartment on Eden Island. The condominium is extremely well organized and offers everything you need for a perfect vacation: supermarket, restaurants, shops, swimming pools and private beaches. The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped and well-organized, providing all the necessary comfort (not to mention that we had our own private buggy to get around in)! The highlight, in my opinion, was the huge balcony, equipped with sun loungers, a dining table and another table for relaxing, all with an incredible view of the Marina. It's a real privilege to be able to enjoy this view every day! Georges was an organized and helpful host, which made the experience even better. For those looking for tranquillity and convenience, Eden Island is the ideal destination - you can even spend your entire vacation without leaving the condo! Highly recommend

We loved our stay. The little round infinity pool was refreshing. Staff was outstanding.

It was an excellent stay. The local team that the Host uses, did a super job in communicating with us beforehand on how everything will work. They arrange taxi's for us from the airport and gave us contact details for taxi's as well as boat operators for excursions. When the BBQ's gas became low, it was a simple message sent and we had a standby bottle delivered asap. The Unit is excellent and well situated for beautiful views. We saw lobsters, fish and even two sea turtles less than 10 m from our patio. Well worth it for a couple of a family.

We had a great time with the family. Great view from the front balcony/ entrance, quite spacious for a family of 4. To get to the place you definitely need a car and be cautious as the road that leads there is quite narrow. There is one parking space in the entrance of the property.

Everything was excellent, the cleaning price was a bit high.

We just came back from 6 nights at Gillian's place and we absolutely loved it. It's such a beautiful place to relax, the house has a lovely view, the pool is great for kids (our 11 and 12 year old girls spent ages in there!) the beds are large and comfortable, it's peaceful and has everything you could ever need. Eden island is really well maintained with great beaches and lovely trees and nature. There are large fruit bats in the evenings, lots of bird life and eagle rays swimming around the marine. The restaurants are really good and a similar price to UK restaurants with a good atmosphere. The plaza is easy to get to and has lots of ice cream shops etc. The golf buggy is also a great (and fun) way of getting around We hired a car for the week and explored quite a bit of the island. Driving was fine and the beaches are incredible. We're lucky enough to have had some amazing holidays in the Indian Ocean and Caribbean, but this holiday was right up there as one of the best!
