The Beach Barn

HayleyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Absolutely beautiful place in such a beautiful setting. My hubby and I felt very at home here. Our two little dogs loved it. The beach barn was spotless. The photos of the place are true to what it's like, however, if you're organised like us and think of bringing along coffee pods as you've seen photos of the machine so to not use all of the host's pods. Be aware it is not a Dolce Gusto machine, they now have a Tassimo. Don't fall into buying the wrong pods like we did by looking at the photosšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‚ A very short walk to The Captain's Wife pub and 1988 Indian, the food at both of these places is lovely and definitely worth trying! Lots of things to do and places to see whilst here. We drove to the Barrages walking over to Cardiff Bay, definitely worth a visit and also try Cosmeston Lakes Country Park, lovely walk around there and the medieval village. Barry Island beach is also perfect, it's lovely, clean, and perfect for dogs! We'd love to return the beach barn again in the future.

A moden barn conversion formaly the bull pen

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Bullpen was a great location for a weekend away with a friend and our children. Beautifully decorated with luxurious touches and very comfortable. The kitchen was well provisioned, we cooked a meal and enjoyed a movie night on the huge comfy sofa with big TV screen. The weather was wild but we managed a walk up to the White Horse (drove from our accomodation).

Charming cottage in Stour Provost

JudithRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We have just returned from Caroline’s beautiful cottage. It was everything we wished for and more. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was exceptionally clean. The surrounding area was very quaint and pretty and there was lots to explore in the area and a bit beyond. We spent NYE at Durdle Door, an hours drive away but well worth it. Would highly recommend Caroline’s cottage and our dog loved it too.

The Nest

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We checked in at late notice and had the most gorgeous stay for 2 nights. The space was stunning and picturesque. Would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back. I also lost the tiniest piece of jewellery which Camilla searched high and low for and found to return to me. So so grateful!

Had a wonderful seven weeks stay in Nicks lovely apartment whilst planning my relocation to Exeter. The apartment has everything you need with plenty of space. The location is great for accessing the city centre and has added bonus of parking. Would thoroughly recommend

The Farmhouse

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Lovely location for a family getaway, the hosts were responsive and kindly let us have a later check out on our last day. The decor is a bit old school, but everything was clean and functional, and the ensuites for every room were a big plus. The living and dining space was a highlight, nice and spacious for large meals, although might be worth bringing some of your own kitchen equipment if you plan on cooking a lot! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, just be prepared to drive to pubs or shops nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Rustic cabin

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Karen was very helpful throughout our short stay and very responsive to questions. The cabin is a very cute place to stay, but only for a short stay. We loved it for a long weekend, but don’t feel it would be suitable for a longer stay, due to lack of clothes hanging and cooking facilities. It is also very draughty (through the front door), so whilst sitting watching tv it was quite chilly, but with blankets on and the log burner on, we made it cosy, but not sure how we’d feel about staying there in the winter, but for a spring/summer break it is lovely. Views from the cabin are beautiful.
