Luxury newly converted oak cottage

ConnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay at Sam’s place for a friends holiday, the cottage was spacious for 8 of us plus one infant with plenty of parking available. The surroundings are beautiful and there were some lovely walks directly from the cottage. Sam was really responsive to any questions we had. We also organised a grocery food delivery for our arrival which worked really well so would recommend to others too! The hot tub was excellent and the cottage felt very private considering the buildings around it. Would highly recommend so thank you! ☺️

Beautiful two bed cottage, with character & charm

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was glorious. Absolutely spick and span, lots of lovely space for our childred (5 & 2) to run around. Two outside areas, both contained by little gates on to the lane, and we spent a lot of time outside - out the front for a sunny morning cup of tea overlooking the spring flowers and neat lawn, or out the back with a little more space and two seating areas. The cottage was beautifully renovated, with a dreamy sofa, log fire and a lovely garden room with large windows for bird-watching. Comfy beds and lovely views. Puzzles for the kids, and a well equipped kitchen where we did lots of cooking. The location is great. The village is quiet and pretty and the locals are super friendly, most days we got chatting to someone who gave us a hint about walks and other titbits. During our 6 day stay, we only used the car twice, going for local walks or to the village green to throw a ball around. A bakery, pub and play area all within walking distance. Lovely, helpful hosts. Amazing.

The Old Mill and Cottage - Good Central Base

LeighRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The place was spotlessly clean, really well stocked kitchen. Host was really friendly and helped quickly when needed (shovelling snow and ice from the driveway for example!) The spiral staircase won’t suit some people, but was fine for us.

What a thoughtful host! All of the little extras were thought of making this a real home away from home stay. I hope to stay again and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you for making our Easter break to visit family locally extra special.

Stunning views - cosy log burner - outdoor pool

EmilyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.
