Holiday rentals in Egremont

We have just ended a two night stay over the Christmas period. The caravan was just what we needed it to be- warm and cosy, clean and in a peaceful scenic location. We were made to feel welcome by the hosts and other people that we met in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Sally’s house. The huge space was perfect for 2 adults and 5 kids. The location is very peaceful and only a short drive to amenities like shops and restaurants. The house is wonderful. Well appointed, clean and very cosy. We would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

Great hosts and lovely place. The fridge hinge had broken and they came to resolve the issue within 10 minutes and a new fridge was sorted within the hour. 100% would recommend.

Had a lovely stay, the lodge was beautifully decorated inside, tidy, clean and the living room was very cozy. Hot tub was very large and jets powerful. The surroundings were lovely and scenic and accompanying fields were large and peaceful to walk the dog through. Chickens and alpacas were also in the fields as well which was nice and something different. The only slight issue we had was that the fence is a wooden fence with large gaps between the slats so our labrador could easily slip through so we had to take care when letting her out with the other animals being there. Other than that we had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone.

An absolutely lovely little house. Extremely comfortable and clean and like being at a second home. It’s a quick walk to lots of pubs, restaurants and the lake. We Managed to get a free parking space outside the house, which was so handy to unload our bags. Liam was great with messages and offering any advice. All the details for the home were helpful and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Lake District, as it’s an amazing base to the rest of the beautiful villages and scenery.

Great little apartment. Pristine. We arrived a little early and expected to explore the town, but Philip was happy for us to check in and showed us how everything worked. Very comfortable. Near amenities. Lovely break 👍

We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!
