Smoking friendly holiday rentals in El Cajon

Kathi was an amazing host. I was out there for a birthday get away and she baked me some cookies. : ) Kathi is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The place is clean, charming, and relaxing. The garden is beautiful and has a rejuvenating Zen vibe. Definitely will recommend!!

The place was very clean and in a great location, which made it easier to access everything. The place manager was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. However, the WiFi was unstable at some times, which made it difficult to make calls. The nearby bars were quite noisy at night, so I would recommend bringing earplugs.

Had an amazing time. Amenities were great. Apartment is very nice.

Gary's place is located in a beautiful neighborhood, walkable to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood was peaceful. The space is as described. I was pleasantly surprised at the kitchen being so well equipped and with many options for cooking. As noted in another review, you can hear voices, animals, doors from others in the same house, but it was minimal. Just good to know if that bothers you. The bed was comfortable and the space is used well.

Great stay. Wonderful yard and hot tub and perfect for young kids too! Be aware that the yard looks out into the parking lot of the property behind (small building) including dumpster, and as the description says, property is on a busy street which means you hear all the traffic, sirens etc from hot tub and yard. Not an issue for us, would def stay again but helpful to know when booking.

We had an amazing stay at Bruce’s place! He was an incredibly friendly and helpful host—he even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a huge crocodile floatie for the kids, which they loved. The house is an entertainer's dream, with a large pool (heated by the San Diego sun), 6-person hot tub, and outdoor sauna. The backyard has a beach-like sand area with a fire pit, plenty of seating, and an outdoor bar. Inside, the game room with a pool table and ping pong table kept us entertained, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Bruce lives on the property but we had complete privacy. The home is spacious, secure, and perfect for families or groups of friends. Highly recommend—thanks, Bruce!

we had a lovely time staying at Miguel's place. the house was very cute and comfortable and the back garden was super cute and great to sit and chat or drink your morning coffee. would absolutely stay again!

5 star !!! We stayed 5 nights at Erik and Erica’s house and it was wonderful ! The view from the terrace is incredible. The house is very well equipped. The beds are super confortable, we all slept like babies ;-). The kitchen is big and have EVERYTHING you might think of. Best kitchen we’ve experienced on Airbnb. The pool/ping pong table kept the kids entertained. We would definitely stay again !

This was a truly fabulous stay at Casa Paloma. Every single detail was perfect. I felt like I was at home, not an Air BNB. I hosted our family Thanksgiving dinner for 6 here, and the kitchen had absolutely everything I needed to prepare and serve a complicated meal. And the dining room table and place settings were lovely. And besides it being perfect for a big family meal- it was equally as wonderful for small, quiet morning breakfasts and work from home days. My family was only all with me for 2 of my 7 days there. The rest of the time it was a perfect place to do my workouts, walking, meeting up with friends for dinner at local fabulous restaurants. And the grocery stores are all excellent and very close. It’s a perfect place in every way. And Paula is fabulous!

Great place had a minor issue with the code to the lockbox upon checking in but in the end Gonzalo was quick to resolve

Brendan and Amu were very friendly and open-minded, and if you had any questions they were always able to help. The entire complex was beautiful and private and the room was clean and comfortably furnished. You were allowed to use everything and were also provided with cleaning supplies, for example. All in all it was a very nice stay.

It was a great stay, upon arrival make sure you get in touch with Tyler because some of the details provided for how to check in aren’t current. For example the gate code has changed but it was quick fix and Tyler was there to help and answer questions fast! There is a space heater which helped a lot without having ac/heat. The balcony smoking area is nice and calming there are lots of stairs so be prepared for a walk. All in all Tyler was a wonderful host with a clean, safe unit I will definitely be staying here again if I return in the future 🙌🏾🙌🏾!

Overall it was a great stay. The unit was nice and clean, the bed was fairly soft, but comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very nice (give the hot water some time to get there -- it's a bit slow but works fine). I liked the location a lot, as it was just a block or two outside of the really noisy Gaslamp area, but still felt fairly safe and clean on the street. The unit feels very secure behind two security doors. It was fairly quiet at night and easy to sleep. And George was always responsive and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Very clean and cozy house. Comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils for cooking. Beautiful backyard with a seating area and a charcoal grill. We cooked food on the grill every evening. Maricarmen is a very responsive and good hostess. She was always in touch. Answered all our questions quickly. We had a small problem with the garbage disposal and Maricarmen solved this problem very quickly. By mutual agreement, when we were not home, she replaced the garbage disposal with a new one and also washed our dishes. Just a wonderful woman! Thank her very much. We are grateful to her for her cozy home and her hospitality.

Great place to stay in Baja. The area was quiet and felt safe. Security was always by the gate checking who is coming in and out. The condo has spectacular ocean views and the best part we were able to have our furbabies with us. This condo has everything you need. The host has great communication and very friendly. Definetely will be my choice of booking everytime we come to Baja from now on.
