Farmstay holiday rentals in El Paso County

This was our second stay at the Bristlecone Cabin. It was as enjoyable as our first stay there in 2021. We love the cabin and the grounds. It’s very peaceful and close to downtown Manitou Springs, where there are fun shops and restaurants. Annie & Douglass provide helpful information about good places to eat and there is a ton of literature about the town provided in the cabin. I highly this location!

I had a great time staying at this home. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again if I happen to be in the area.

Great stay! Dog friendly made it possible for us to stay! Very kind host. Peaceful. Thankful for the couple muffins each to get us going in the morning. The sink, in the bathroom, is the only sink. So, just make sure you don't have too many dishes or prep your meals in advance if you don't want to use a smaller sink. (I probably should have read more closely!) Close to Paint Mines and nearby lots of farms, peaceful horses and their lovely goats and chickens! I was concerned about being in the basement and hearing the foot steps above but they were considerate and it wasn't a problem for me.

Everything was great, wish we could have stayed longer than one night! The only feedback I have is regarding one of the bath robes…even though it appeared laundered, it had several stains so we opted not to use it.

Ceil's home was exactly what I was hoping it would be. We have three boys who had never seen the mountains or snow on the ground and we decided to make this trip their big Christmas gift upon their request. Ceil's home was the perfect combination of value, quality, and the view....oh, the view! It was way to cold for these central Texans to have the blinds open all the time but I would have if I could! The mountains and Pikes Peak were a gorgeous panoramic view every time we looked out the front windows. There was plenty of room for all five of us, plenty of blankets (again - central Texans!), and the kitchen was great to work in - new stove, new oven, new microwave that were very easy to use. I didn't regret leaving even one item at home to make full meals. Ceil also has toys for a varying age range, some games, tons of books, and wonderful touches like eggs in the fridge and fruit on the table when we got there late on Christmas night. We were going to stay at a hotel Christmas night due to a last minute decision to drive up to Colorado on Christmas day instead of on the 26th, again at our boys' request so they could have one extra day in the snow. Ceil called as we were driving up to her place and told us she had a cancellation and we could have the house Christmas night instead of staying in a hotel on the 25th and having to unload and reload the car twice. The house was sparkling clean and very homey after a 14 hour drive! The neighborhood is extremely quiet and pleasant and we felt very safe there. It is close to the Old Colorado City shops and museums and a very short drive to Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods, as well as Starbucks! :) Ceil was quick to answer any communication, extremely kind and personable, and clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining the home and making it cozy for guests. Thank you, Ceil! I hope we can return someday!

Meeting Cora and her husband was delightful. They were both very kind and helpful. The place was very homey. It was a lovely stay.

An incredible find, Lorraine’s house was extremely comfortable and welcoming, As were Peter and Lorraine. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Cora was very nice, understanding, and friendly. I appreciate that she found no issue in repeating herself whenever we got confused or had questions and the attention to small details was much appreciated. The room was very cozy, the sunlight softly lit up the room in the morning which was very nice to wake up to.

I held a woman’s retreat at the Airbnb. It was the perfect location, warm and inviting. Communication with the team was spot on. They were always available to reach if I have any questions. I highly suggest this property and will probably return back to it in the near future!

What a wonderful secluded spot right outside of CO springs. Very close to all the local attractions. Quiet with beautiful views. Will definitely stay again!

Exceptionally clean! Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the RV was. Plenty of space for my husband and I with 3 kids 5 and under. Hosts were incredibly friendly and quick response time with any questions. I hope I get the opportunity to stay again!

She is the nicest person you'll ever meet and is an excellent Airbnb host. You should know however... For the money, it's pricey and you really don't get enough to justify the price. The actual tiny home was designed poorly for how little space there is, and some things were slightly lazy when it wouldn't really cost that much more to do it right in a tiny home. I rated so highly because she really is excellent and our stay was wonderful but you should know that it's expensive for what you get and to be perfectly honest, would not recommend to others if the price remains around 150 a night. There's just no reason when it's so close to another tiny place and right off the main lot's property and driveway. It's basically "glamping" which is perfectly fine if that's what you're looking for and what you'd infer form the photos. Unfortunately, we were not and were a little less than impressed with what we actually got for our weekend vacation. Just so you are aware. Thanks! 🤘

Highly recommend this spot! Away from the busy town, but everything is still accessible. This location has lots of local hiking spots and an amazing view. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host were great, and we even got to try out some pheasant green pozole they made! The whole family enjoyed the home and the dogs the yard. Hope our talkative husky wasn’t a bother! Thanks for the stay! Would love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Guest Cottage in Monument! The cottage was just as described - cute, clean and cozy! We were surrounded by the peaceful countryside with far off glimpses of the mountains. Monument is close to numerous places to visit - we especially enjoyed our trips into Colorado Springs to visit Focus on the Family, Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. And if you’re looking for delicious burgers, make sure to stop in at The Skirted Heifer while you’re in Colorado Springs! Sydney is a wonderful host - easy to contact and helpful answering our questions when looking for a local grocer, etc…. Sydney also provided sweet encouragement when we had unexpected events back home. Thank you, again, Sydney, for sharing your guest cottage and hospitality!

everything was perfect and lovely, and Lindsey was extremely kind and helpful! upon arrival, i got out of my car and was greeted by the neighboring horses behind the fence. it was kinda magical.

A truly whimsical and magic (not so little) place. Do not let the photos trick you, this is a steal for a home-away-from-home type bnb, especially if you access the less than 4 minute away Palmer Lake. The chicken fresh eggs and plants made it extra special for cooking meals and relaxing. Don’t hesitate to book ASAP.

Wow! Our next rental will be a hard follow to this amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family of 5 and, even though it didn’t snow during our stay, the provided sleds used on the back part of the property gave our Texas kids hours of fun on snow that fell on the days before our stay! The house was cozy and anything we needed was already provided. The hot tub was the perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. It has great privacy while also being about 30 minutes from almost anything you want to do. It was a perfect house for a family vacation and Joshua is an amazing, responsive and kind host. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely be booking again!

Such a wonderful location! it was so quiet, and dang were the cows cool!

This home truly is a hidden gem in the AirBnB universe. The setting is beautiful, remarkably quiet, serene and relaxing. The home itself is obviously well taken care of and a product of much love and attention. All the very basics of what you love in a great bnb are there, but the home goes so much further, not the least is a mini waterfall and pond in the expansive back yard. Decor and amenities make it one of a kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great place! would definitely try to book for our next visit. Driveway is shared, so stay on your side or be ready to get woken up at 0700 by the upset neighbors. Hot water is scarce, so take quick showers or space them out. Backyard is beautiful, you can feed the chickens, cut some firewood, or take beautiful family pictures!

The highlight was definitely the stunning mountain views that greeted us every morning. Waking up to such beauty was truly refreshing. The hot tub was a fantastic addition. After a day of exploring, soaking in the warm water while taking in the views was the perfect way to unwind. The space itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home. The cozy vibes throughout the property created a welcoming atmosphere. It was easy to relax and enjoy our time there. Overall, this stay was a great choice, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

First time visiting Colorado, it was a beautiful stay ! Our host were extremely helpful and very resourceful on surrounding activities / dining ! The stay was equipped with quite literally anything you needed or might have forgotten for your trip. 100% recommend this stay to anyone wanting to visit the area !

My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This place fulfilled that perfectly. We loved the peace and quite both indoors and outdoors. We felt like we were in the mountains even though the property technically isn't. We enjoyed watching deer wander through the property almost every morning and watching weather move across the valley from the back deck. Everything was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. We both commented to each other that the home was better than the pictures advertised. The host was great with communicating. We'll definitely consider returning here in the future.
