Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Elkhart County

The Joy House is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. Everything was clean and all the little touches of extra were noticed and appreciated. Cookies, water, snack basket etc.. screened in porch and the front porch are so gorgeous and comfy, I want to stay again so I can spend more time out there. Didn’t get to use the bikes but maybe next time :)

Your home was very relaxing, welcoming and cozy! The bedrooms were charming and comfortable. The snacks were an added bonus! The garage and use of it were so appreciated on this rainy weekend. We would love to stay again in the warmer weather to make use of the sunroom - so lovely.

Maria was very thorough with instructions and expectations when checking in and out. Even though the weather sucked (cold and lots of snow), my wife and I enjoyed our two nights at the house.

Cute house with lots of room and very clean! I would definitely recommend it to anybody and would stay there again.

Host was the best! Their place is very nice and well kept up. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway with a big group, this house is definitely it. The pool was great as well and we enjoyed our weekend stay!

Jade was extremely responsive, kind and everything was described. Stayed for the weekend when attending ND game was able to use taxi/uber to get back and forth about 25 mins each way. Beautiful view! Would definetly recommend

We have stayed at multiple units in the Shipshewana/Middlebury area and this one is the best yet. We were relaxed from the moment we walked in. Some of the things that stood out and were appreciated by our group were: -wooded view in rear. Lots of wildlife to watch -Centrally located in the heart of Amish land. -Spotlessly clean. -Beds that felt like you were sleeping on clouds -House was well stocked with any incidental you might need or have forgotten -Gas fireplace was soooo cozy. -ROKU TV -Soft throw blankets everywhere you turned. -House is on a cul de sac so it seems very private even though in a subdivision. -Easy to operate digital lock on unit with a code specific to you. -A bathroom for each couple. We will be back to this unit anytime we travel to the area to see a concert at the Blue Gate.

Our family was seeking rest, relaxation & peacefulness when we arrived, and that was exactly what we found. Lovely home, lovely land, and lovely people. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing stay - close to ND, quiet and, close to all! About 10-15 min drive to Notre Dame! Very thankful!

Overall, it was a terrific stay. There is a great deal of room, easy access to restaurants, and a 30 minute drive to the Notre Dame campus.

Ulrike’s loft was super comfortable, stylish and in a great location. She was also was a great host - quick to respond to questions and providing amenities when the power went out during the storm.

Our favorite place to stay in this city!!! This home has everything you could need when you’re away from home. It’s very comfortable.
