We had a wonderful break at this beautiful place, waking to the dawn chorus every day, listening to the owls in the evening, and even saw a couple of deer in the garden, absolutely beautiful. The spa was lovely, and was such a great experience to have it to ourselves, we felt very relaxed after our long weekend stay. Fordingbridge not far to eat and drink/shop for groceries, and beautiful New Forest walks only a few minutes in the car, would highly recommend, thank you so much… and the welcome cake was lovely too!

Had a lovely few nights here. It’s a great location and the on site facilities are great too. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. The on site restaurant in particular is excellent. We didn’t get to try it for dinner, but if lunch was anything to go by then dinner would no doubt be excellent too. The apartment is clean and spacious and in a great location for coastal walks or day trips further afield in the car. Would definitely recommend.

The second time I have stayed at Richard’s beautiful hut. Such a peaceful location and lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The hut is well thought out and comfortable. Secure garden for my dog and fantastic hot tub!

Wonderful stay in the heart of Cornwall. Well located to drive to points of interest in the north and south. Kate is a brilliant host with a beautiful property.

We had an amazing time here, so private but a very short drive to get to the shops. The walks were beautiful and couldn’t have been better, right on our doorstep without having to drive anywhere. The cottage was clean and VERY cosy and Sally is very friendly. Hot tub is perfect with a beautiful sitting area next to it and provided with towels, sliders, and robes too. Would come back anytime, highly recommend.

A lovely girls weekend away for our friends 40th birthday weekend. Fabulous hot tub, a wonderful layout with lots of space to sit, chat and eat and drink. Lucy was a fabulous host, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Due to the remote location there is lots of wildlife, light sleepers were woken early, but had no problems the second night once we’d sourced some ear plugs! It didn’t taint a wonderful stay! Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! We loved everything about staying in Louisa's place. We arrived feeling quite stressed but left after 3 nights feeling totally chilled. The hideaway is so quirky and has everthing you need to feel right at home. Plus the views are to die for. Seeing so many lovely birds was a real treat and because you're in amongst the trees, they were always about to watch. Great walks from the front door. Also and just as important, comfy bed, comfy sofa, warm, clean and lots of hot water. If you're thinking of booking, do it, you wont regret it!

We had a fantastic stay on Alan’s narrow boat. He was super helpful - met us at the train station, showed us everything about the boat, with a few pieces of life wisdom thrown in for good measure! The boat was very comfortable, and my kids loved the novelty of staying there. Alan made sure the fire was blazing so we were cosy and warm. Starting the engine to get the 240v power running was easypeasy! Thanks for a great and unique stay!

amazingly restored home. Very peaceful. Pete was very welcoming and met us on arrival to explain things. very comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. Really nice touches of fresh flowers in all the rooms and the table being laid on arrival. many thanks!

Great stay at a secluded cottage in a sleepy village. John’s place had so many options, from the steaming hot tub, to the sauna and the fireplace. Amazing for a couple retreat.

Location ideal, a little bit of a hill to climb through the city centre but the views are absolutely stunning and definitely worth it! The apartment itself was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a short stay. The views from the back garden were so lovely and the fact that it’s 5-10 minutes walk to the city meant the area itself was relatively quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Amanda is a fantastic host, extremely responsive and helpful with a special request. The cottage is lovely and cosy, and the meadow for sole use of the cottages is amazing! An idyllic space which our dogs loved exploring, endlessly running through the river and field - a magical place indeed! The property is well located for visiting local beaches (Mwnt is amazing) and towns. The single track roads on the way down to the valley are not for the faint-hearted but well worth the effort to get to this relaxing property where all you can hear is birdsong and the river bubbling nearby!

An absolutely beautiful little barn, which felt very secluded and private. Paul and Barbara were the perfect hosts and had thought of every little detail to make our stay wonderful. The pictures don’t do this barn justice! We especially loved the quaint feel, the amazing log burner (with an endless supply of wood) which kept everything warm and cosy. The log fired hot tub in a beautiful peaceful setting, the comfortable bed, the thoughtful welcome basket, the fantastic WiFi connection, the old vinyl record collection, the list is endless! Thank you Paul and Barbara for letting us stay in your amazing place. We will definitely return.

This house was as beautiful as the photos show - a really nice space to escape the hustle of London and work out of. We were really impressed with the kitchen - it was so nice to cook in. Would not hesitate to re-book! x

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! Julie couldn't have been more helpful if she tried. A wonderful place to relax and rewind, also an ideal location for day tripping to the many castles, beaches and historic beautiful parts of the South Coast of Wales. This home is wonderful, with all the home comforts anyone will need, we couldn't have wanted for anything better. We SHALL return. Thank you Julie. x

Susie is an amazing host - we got a warm greeting on arrival, the house / local information provided was really helpful and the cottage / location were amazing. The wood burning fires were great for this time of year and there was lots to do for our son on a rainy day - ping pong, pool, and plenty of other games. The local walks are great and we would highly recommend the Rising Sun for food!! The stairs are a great feature and in keeping with the cottage but not kid friendly - so we accompanied our boy up and down the stairs. We definitely want to go back for when the pool and tennis court are open in the summer 😊

We had a lovely stay here, beautiful countryside, very cute goats, cosy and homely cottage. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, quiet. Karen was very helpful and replied very quickly. She was very flexible with our arrival and departure.

Had a lovely stay with family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property and surrounds. The living area was inviting and convivial with a cosy log fire. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive, going out of her way to accommodate and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.

I booked to stay at the cottage for my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The communication between myself and Tim & Maite was great. They were always responsive and super helpful. The photos of the house don't do it justice. It’s such a lovely area and although you may see the occasional walker in the distance, you feel like your'e in the middle of nowehere. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, especially since the pool at the house was not available due to it being out of season and super cold, as explained prior to our arrival. We ( and the kids) loved the house, loved the fire, loved the hot tub, loved the games, We played the family edition of Cards Against Humanity and it was just a lovely relaxing family weekend away without computer games - it was bliss. The perfect setting and in my husbands words - it was the perfect find! Thank you so much to Tim and Maite for such a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!
