Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis

The house was actually a little better than the pictures, more than expected.Large space, three rooms on the second floor, very clean, and comfortable beds.There is a kitchen and living room on the first floor and a double bed in the living room.The area around the house is a small forest, the air is really good, the area is a supermarket for five or six minutes by car.Would highly recommend for group stay. Good host

Our family of four had a great time staying with Anna and Max. The two are wonderful, open and warm hosts, who are careful that their guests spend a relaxing time in the forest cottage and can explore the area freshly strengthened on the first morning. The house itself is very nicely decorated and super clean. The rooms offer ample space and equipped with everything you need for a few days. From the house you can immediately start a forest walk and meet deer. Needless to say, the dog also felt really comfortable. But other excursions and adventures are also close by. For example, if you want to climb Cologne Cathedral or take a look at the highest railway bridge in Germany, it is not far. Anna and Max are also willing to give helpful tips. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a lovely stay at the place. We felt right at home and could spend relaxing and cozy evenings in the house next to the Carnival in Cologne. Michael is a very friendly host.

The cottage is super cozy and well equipped - you get a lot provided as a guest and for us it was perfect that we could book a crib. The residential area is not nice, but in a few minutes' walk there is a very nice cafe (roasted bar) and beautiful nature is right outside the door. We felt very comfortable.

A great apartment, I would have preferred to move in right away. Everything fits and is right.. even the weather god rewarded me 😊☀️

A beautiful old building apartment in the middle of Wuppertal and yet in the countryside. A fantastic view of the forest from every window. A modern kitchen and very comfortable beds. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Just great. Communication from booking to departure was great, straightforward and fast. The connection to Cologne was straightforward. Frank and his wife were very nice. Should we visit this area again, we will check back in anytime.

What says on the site about the property is completely accurate. I'm sorry the photos don't show this just as clearly. Because the house is even more beautiful in person. Well worth booking.

Beautiful house for an unforgettable weekend away with our friend group. It was our own private castle! Large rooms, comfortable beds, and kitchen and bathrooms were large, clean and well equipped. We were greeted very friendly by the house’s caretaker and contact during and after our stay was very pleasant and friendly. Two small remarks: some of the rooms didn’t have curtains or blinds to block out daylight, and in some rooms the light switches were not working properly or confusing to use. But those are just minor issues because we had an amazing time in the villa. Thank you!

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.

I stayed with Maike for a week and enjoyed it very much🙂. It is close to the city ,so you can reach everything quickly. Will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In addition to the good location in the heart of Dusseldorf, the facilities were great, and we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay with our family and friends.There was a REWE nearby that was available until midnight, and TrinkGut, which was convenient for us to buy what we needed.Thanks, Daniel.

Nice house and place

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

Big house in the countryside! It's perfect for large family or group of friends. Also recommended with children due to the large garden. A few furniture/ fixtures could be replaced, but on the whole everything was tip top. We particularly liked the hot tub:) Check out was possible a little later by appointment.
