Cottage holiday rentals in Esopus Creek

We spent a getaway weekend as a group of moms with their kids and it was the perfect spot. Easy enough to child proof, the furniture was very comfortable, and the house was spotless. The outside amenities and forested area were fun and well-maintained. The host was the most proactive, communicative, and helpful that I’ve had. Fantastic stay, and would absolutely stay again!

We rented the cottage to spend a relaxing girls weekend for our friend’s birthday. It was absolutely incredible! The location was very quiet and private and the surroundings were beautiful. There were still great places to eat/shop within 20 minutes and the recommendations provided by the hosts were very helpful. The home is pristine and smells amazing. There was everything we needed to cook our meals and all the tools to make a killer coffee (even the coffee beans!) the record player was such a nice touch and their collection had a record for everyone. The bathrooms are upgraded, clean and well decorated and the beds were SO comfy. The property is so well lit throughout the yard which made arriving home in the evening feel so safe. While we didn’t get to use all of the outdoor amenities because of the snow, we did venture to the hot tub which was just the perfect way to end a chilly evening. We cannot wait to book another trip to experience the cottage in the summer!

This was by far one of the best places I stayed on Airbnb, the property was absolutely stunning with the snow and fog above the mountains. They have everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The indoor fireplace is beautiful and plenty of wood was provided. The hot tub and fire pit in the snow with the Mountain View is unbeatable. There is a lot of space to go sledding, hiking, and if you bring a furry friend along, they are going to LOVE running around the massive yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, this was an amazing stay by all means.

We always stay at Little Willow when we go skiing at Belle Ayre. I think our three years and running relationship with the house tell you all you need to know about working with the Little and Littler gang and their spot.

Beautiful scenery lovely home loved the amenities only the water pressure was low it’s nice comfy and peaceful if u need to rest or have family or friends to chill with but overall it was a great sport 😃

We had a wonderful stay at Diane’s. We were looking for a weekend away without the kids to recharge. We were able to do just that. We enjoyed the hot tub, and curling in front of the fire with a book. It was a snowy weekend but that just added to the charm. Diane’s scones are also amazing!! Diane made sure to communicate clearly and we were given all the info we needed to have a great time.

My loved ones and I had an amazing time celebrating my man’s b-day! We had a lot of snow but we made the best of it. We brought a drone and got some great videos for all of us sitting by the fire pit making s’mores and it all looks so surreal. The area is amazing during all seasons, I would recommend and probably rebook with my family in future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Peace Cottage! This stand-alone house is dog-friendly and perfectly appointed. There are two bedrooms at opposite sides of the house and a bed in the living room. The yard is great for pups. Host is communicative, friendly, and accommodating. Very quiet, great heat and hot water. Check out The Pines a few minutes down the road for dinner. Thank you for hosting us! We would love to come back for a longer stay!

Absolutely spectacular experience. Wylda was a wonderful host, providing us with all the information we could possibly need about her space and the surrounding area. The Airbnb itself was adorable and quirky, with every little detail well-designed. We kept discovering fun tchotchkes and interesting pieces of art throughout our weekend there. Loved the fireplace, the full kitchen, the chessboard, and the zero gravity chair. The nearby lake and woods were lovely as well. We felt very at peace and very comfortable. Would love to stay there again!

Nice little getaway during the cold season. The hot tub was excellent and about 100 degrees so perfect even with the cold temperature. It was still possible to put together a meal with the propane grill and warm things up in the microwave or store them away in the fridge. The heat was excellent in the space. Seems like it would be a great place to stay in the summer as well!

We had a great stay! We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the local recommendations from Darla. Check-in was easy and we had everything we needed at the house.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Even with snow and ice on the ground it was perfect for my family and our dog. Our dog was the main reason we chose this place- the fenced in backyard and close proximity to the Rail Trail (3 houses down!!!) CANNOT be beat. Wonderful and quiet neighborhood but so close by to everything- especially the Minnewaska State Park. The house was perfect- so cozy and modern throughout with the kitchen surprising us with the abundance of cookware and appliances provided! Cannot wait to come again when it is a little warmer and get to enjoy the beautiful porch and backyard. We absolutely will be back!!

Loved our stay in this beautiful cottage, perfect for the 2 of us. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated with a TV that had all the movie channels. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, including delicious coffee . The bed was incredibly comfortable, slept like a baby. Pillows and blankets added to the comfy feel of home. Mark is a wonderful host who insured that the driveway was free of snow and ice prior to our arrival Highly recommend visiting.

They had everything you would need! Really enjoyed the small touches of games, music collection and art. It made us feel right at home. It was also very close to Hunter Mountain if that’s what you’re coming for.

Great place to stay in Livingston manor and super close to Roscoe. Loved how cozy the cabin was, and definitely will be staying here again.

This cabin is so very special—and has an artists touch! It is cozy (especially with the wood stove going), spacious for being a one-room size, and has everything you need to disconnect and recharge. We will absolutely be back and appreciated the clear and easy communication as well!

Brian was an amazing host. The cozy cabin was exactly what my husband and our dog needed. It was a last minute weekend getaway. So happy the home was available. Extremely clean. Kitchen completely furnished with all items you could possibly use. The bathroom was so adorable and the shower pressure was amazing. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. We loved the stereo on the top of the fridge we had it on every time we were in the home. There was a TV but we didn’t watch it. Internet and cell service was excellent. The wood stove was a favorite. Especially the night we had the (so called) snow storm. We didn’t get much snow. Brian made sure the driveway and steps were plowed. There were nice breweries close by. Chief breakfast diner was very good. The garage was where we spent both nights playing ping pong, darts and fuzz ball. One thing we would have loved in the garage… A heater, it was chilly but still had a blast!! Our dog LOVED running around the yard. AMAZING TIME! Thank you!!!

Monica’s cottage was very peaceful and relaxing. Upon arriving getting in was very easy and linear. 2-3 dead stink bugs were found but I understand if the place hasn’t been touched in a while. A few dust bunnies here and there but no more than you’d find in your own home. The cottage was accurately described and pictured. Definitely met its standards, all of the decor and even the layout was beautiful and extremely cozy/comforting. This was the perfect get away me and my partner needed. Comfortable furniture and beds, actually hard to find so it’s nice that this home had those. Very tidy and comfy. The water is very relaxing. A must stay if you’re visiting Phoenicia!

This was a lovely little cottage to stay at for New Year’s Eve. Extremely cozy, and we had everything we needed. I imagine the porch would be very nice when it’s warmer, but it was just a bit too cold for us to utilize that on this trip. Everything was clean and it felt very homey.

We had an excellent experience with Todd and his cottage. It was a perfect weekend getaway. The space was very quiet and peaceful but close to local attractions. Todd had great recommendations for restaurants, shops, wineries, breweries, and other activities, all of which were no more than 10 minutes from the cottage via car. The space was small but appeared exactly as described in the listing. It was a perfect option for us and our dog. We would definitely return in the future!
