Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Essex County

Great place to stay, we travelled into NYC most days of our stay and was incredibly easy. As described, train station is 5 min walk away and 2 stops into NY Penn. Clean, quiet and safe location. Easy instructions to get in and allowed us late check out, no problem at all.

Heba was a great host with a beautiful home. Very clean, welcoming, and spacious. Bonus- All the tile selections were gorgeous! Our families fit comfortably in the home during our stay and we enjoyed our time.

It was quiet and easy to get there. I loved that the TV was programmed with apps I have at home. Place was super clean which made me happy and it was perfect temperature for showers and for the heat. Definitely a 10/10

Emily's place was perfect for a NYC visit! The house is very comfortable and spacious and well appointed. It is easy to walk to Main Street and to the grocery store. The NJ transit is also walking distance away. We visited family in Short Hills for the Holidays and it made our trip easy and enjoyable.

Our 3 week stay with Judy went as smoothly as we could possibly have hoped. Judy is an excellent host and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Communication was simple and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The space and location were both perfect for our needs. We look forward to staying with Judy again in the future!

Great location, Jose & Fabiana always responded to our messages. House is perfect for two families with two children. Netflix, Amazon prime, Firetv are available and this is a plus at night when you are resting and trying to have a family time watching a movie or a series. You should consider that you need to find a spot for car on the street, but it is safe and no worries about this.

He was extremely accommodating to our needs, made the stay easy and worry free.

Francesca was a wonderful host. She goes over and beyond for her guests. There were fresh tarts upon arrival, coffee for the coffee maker, plenty of towels and beds are very comfortable. The apartment was spotless. We had 5 women on a trip and we had plenty of space. There is a bakery just on the corner and another breakfast place a couple of blocks away.Even a McDonald's a few blocks away. We walked everyday to the train station which was just a little over half a mile. I would highly recommend this apartment if you wanted to visit NYC and did not want to stay in the city. This place was a perfect calm spot to unwind after a day in the city!! Jessie was immediately understanding when we were going to be late for check in. She was kind enough to be flexible for our check in and had plenty of great recommendations. Location is great for public transportation (that Jessie also helped direct us with) and plenty of food options. Couldn’t recommend this place and host enough! 😊

Anneka's place was the perfect spot for our trip to Montclair. It was walkable to two different commercial districts in Upper Montclair, and to the train station to the city. It was clean, nicely furnished, and had clear instructions on how to operate everything. Going in, I was slightly worried about train noise, as some previous reviews had mentioned the spot being close to the train and hearing train noise but it was totally fine - the train is really quiet and wouldn't be loud enough to wake someone up, and I'm someone very sensitive to noise. I was there with my husband and two kids and the kids loved the space as well, there are toys and games available, and it's a warm and cozy place. In fact, the kids just wanted to stay in and order delivery rather than go to one of the several restaurants in walking distance. There's off-street parking as well if you have a car, everything was just seamless and easy. If we visit Montclair again we'd definitely stay at Anneka's place!

Great location…close to nework in penn station there is also a supermarket close by. I booked one night before (it was unplanned trip) and andrew was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room to unwind after a long day in the city. Everything was clean was absolutely gorgeous. My 8 year old used the word “spiffy” when we walked in. Anthony was very friend and a great communicator. We have a lovely time!!

Amazing stay at Anthony's Airbnb. We loved the ambiance of the apartment's outdoors with its backyard, lights, hot tub. The inside was stellar, as well, with everything we needed. Anthony answered all of our questions. and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, which we tried and loved! The whole neighborhood was inviting and easy to navigate. Will definitely stay again.

My family and I had a blast staying at Erika’s place! It looked even better in person. This was my families first time experiencing New Jersey. Transportation is only down the street at walking distance and local markets are easy to get to. She also provided some games such as Uno, connect four, and Jenga for those rainy days we decided to stay in. I would love to come back again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Ann’s place. Subway is very close and makes getting around very easy. Ann was very accomodating with our early arrival too which we appreciated. House was wonderfully equipped and very comfortable. Thank you so much!

Great location! Easy access to subway stations to get around fast. The home was the perfect size for our group of 6 adults/3 couples - everyone had their own space and a good size common area, as well. Huge windows and high ceiling for plenty of natural light.
