Great home with all amenities. Backyard was very beautiful and well maintained. Keyna was very responsible and helpful. Ryan also responded with all the queries and took good care of us.

A very cozy place. The cleanliness was a highlight and in addition to that the kitchen equipment was very good. There was literally everything. The pool area is very comfortable, private, clean. Perfect for resting and enjoying the sun. The barbecue is also a great addition for a good barbecue! The rooms are sufficiently clean, and the mattresses are in good condition. If there was anything to comment on, it's that the pillows were somewhat small and soft, but this may be a matter of personal taste. In short, 100% recommended

Casa Barú is a magical place, located in the best area of Playa Hermosa. Everything was fantastic, from the house to the surroundings, every detail exceeded our expectations. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved it so much! Wish we could stay longer, but wanted to show other parts of Costa Rica to our boys. Juan was very attentive, responsive and friendly. Property is beautiful and very private. Perfect for families with young children. A lot to explore and see in the premises.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! I cannot begin to describe how lovely it was to be surrounded by beauty and wildlife while enjoying the privacy in such a gorgeous home. Pictures on the listing are exactly what you see….beyond lovely! We had the very best time sitting around the pool listening to the Costa Rican wildlife. Our host was absolutely fantastic, responsive and quickly answered every question. He also helped organize three fantastic tours. Cannot recommend this Home enough! Pura Vida! 🌺

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

Very pleasant, access for all vehicles, accurate description of the place, very clean, it has everything for a nice stay with family or friends, Wendy is very attentive and willing to solve any problem. My family and I would definitely come back.

We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

We appreciated the proximity to the beach and the pools. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a meal. The water in the apartment felt cold, but it did not bother us too much because we were hot coming from the beach. There is a shopping plaza close by, but you can get a greater variety of restaurants and stores to choose from if you drive 15-20 minutes. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we would definitely come back.

It was my first time staying at Bejuco and I was lucky to see the total eclipse in this wonderful place. It had the necessary to spend one of the greatest vacations I have had. Hosts are nice and gentle. They even recommended us what to do around and how to improve our experience based on what we like. Very comfortable and peaceful. I will definitely come back!

Excellent Location, Excellent attention

Absolutely loved our stay here. We couldn't have asked for a more stunning location. It was amazing to be really immersed in nature. We saw monkeys, toucans, tree frogs, lizards, and the jungle noises at night were insane. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed just lounging in the hammock and the swinging chair and enjoying our surroundings. We would definitely stay here again!

Evelio and his father run this delightful cabin community in the mountains. They even have a restaurant on site! In the morning Evelio hiked with me up to the waterfall.

The Santa Marta restaurant across the street is amazing too

The place was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, paying attention to details. A cozy and comfortable retreat surrounded by nature to spend with your partner. Definitely a place where you want to come back more than once.

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Quiet, serene setting, EXCELLENT birding from the porch thanks to a private feeder and stream nearby. The house was beautiful and had so many thoughtful touches! If you want to experience this area and avoid the crowds of Jaco, this is the place!
