The cottage is very comfortable and clean and is well stocked with everything you need. The huge trees in the yard provided welcoming shade. The neighborhood is quiet and close to amenities like shops and restaurants. Annatjie is a star host, warm and friendly and very welcoming. She was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions. I would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Durban.

Beate's house is so cozy and really does feel like home. The location was perfect for my activities and my daughter and dogs enjoyed the park that is ok literally at the house's entry step. Thank you Beate for everything.

I highly recommend this property. Great private space , awesome hosts and close to shops. Peaceful and at the same time close the highway. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Durban

It was fantastic to spend a few days on vacation with my family at Sharon's house. Sharon's husband, Mr Ronnie, was 100% present to provide all types of assistance and solutions for whatever was needed. Many thanks to the couple Sharon and Ronnie. Special thanks also to Mrs. Happy, who takes care of the house. She is very attentive and friendly. I would recommend that the other two bedrooms be equipped with air conditioning units because in the summer, Durban is quite hot and humid. Even fans could help a person have a more pleasant sleep. This place is a gem. We were a group of friends driving down from Durban to Clansthal (short 1 hour drive) for a special occasion, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The house was super clean and comfortable, and the garden was such a nice surprise—bigger than expected, with an amazing view of the surf break. We spent most of our time by the pool or hanging out in the covered outdoor area where we ate all our meals. It’s a short, safe walk to the beach, the water was so clear and we saw dolphins and a turtle while we were there! The little extras, bottle of wine, chocolates, and a sweet note, were such thoughtful touches that made us feel really welcome. The house itself feels private and peaceful—no one looking in—so it’s a great space to just unwind. There’s a ton of room too, which makes it perfect for friends or families without feeling cramped. The host made everything easy with clear instructions. We loved it here and would definitely come back. x x

Carena's place was a large beautiful home with lots of gorgeous, mature palm trees. Carena and staff were so very helpful and kind and went out of their way to make sure our stay went perfectly. We greatly appreciated it 🙏🏼

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The sea views are absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, equipped with everything we needed. The patio area was the highlight—spacious, comfortable, and ideal for dining or simply lounging while soaking in the scenery. It truly felt like a home away from home. The only downside was the bright lights from the passageway shining into two of the bedrooms at night, blackout blinds could assist. There was also an unfixed ceiling in the dining room that must be attended to. Also, additional lounge seating should be provided for the patio to fit 6 people. Overall, we had an amazing experience cooking, eating, and unwinding here. We already miss the incredible sea view and hope to return sometime.

omg was what I said as I opened the sliding door to the balcony and the ocean was just there,My husband was already making plans for us to comeback without the kids in June lol.I loved everything about it,besides the ocean the kitchen,because in the morning we had breakfast sitting together as a family,which we normally have on the couch. By the way I never slept waiting for the sunrise because we got there at night, as soon as it got light in the morning I was there with my mimosa at 4:30am.haha,I loved how private the beach was because that's what we wanted coming from the vaal triangle we needed quiet. it was my sons 1st vacation and he was excited about the game room mostly which is a nice spot just next to the pool and has a braai area and u get to meet other residents of the beach club.I really wanted to pack Elises apartment in my luggage bag it's beautiful homely and she's just a text or call away.Its been 10days since we got home my 3yr old still wants to go to the white house

My family and I had the most beautiful and peaceful stay. Stunning ocean views. Clean space, beautifully decorated, and had all the required amenities. Although we had trouble with water outage, the host was quick to respond and very helpful!

Claire’s place was a lovely stay. We felt right at home. Only a few minutes from shops & restaurants in walking distance. Great stay & highly recommend.

Bryan & Tash are a really amazing friendly couple. Their property is feels like you just escaped to your own private getaway, the interior is cozy with all the amenities you could need. The location is so convenient its close to the beach 5 min away from galleria and have top notch security. I felt like i could leave my troubles at the door and know I am looked after by my host. If you're looking for value for your money this is the place.

My family and I had the most splendid time in Bronwyn's well-appointed, spacious quayside apartment bosting magnificent views of the Durban coastline from every room and it's generous balcony, which are even better than the photos. Swimming and surfing beaches are just a few steps away. The area is amazingly quiet at night except for the soft whisper of the waves as they hit the shoreline, inducing the best sleep you're likely to have anywhere. Bronwyn and Mike are exceptional hosts and I do plan to return again soon.

We cannot recommend Jessica’s Airbnb enough and will look to stay there again the next time that we are in Durban. It is located directly on the promenade and a short walk from all of the key Umhlanga spots, in addition to being clean and well-decorated. Jessica herself was a great and responsive host.

We had a great stay here for a couple of days over my birthday. The location is excellent—close to everything you need. The place was spotless, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downside is that there’s only a bath, which isn’t ideal in the summer humidity, but the aircon made a huge difference. Entry was seamless, and the host provided clear, detailed instructions for everything we needed. Thanks for having us! 10/10 recommend.
