Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Our little one loved collecting eggs and wandering through the garden (and the sculpture garden too). It was close to town but still felt secluded. The studio is bigger than i expected, with a door separating bedroom and living room (so the baby could be in a different room which was amazing). The main house was just next door which would be a great opportunity for larger groups to join.

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage on the winery! The peaceful surroundings were beautiful with cows nearby and loads of birds. Sitting on the porch was very relaxing. Even though it was a warm weekend the cottage stayed cool throughout, with the portable air con keeping things cool and the nights cooled down quickly. Visiting the winery for a tasting next door was lovely. Highly recommend!

Really good and quiet place to stay in Mudgee

Pieter’s studio was among our top 3 Airbnb experiences. The location is incredible! With 360o views, you will be surrounded by vineyards, wildlife (including kangaroos) and nobody else! The studio is modern and cozy. It has everything you need to enjoy nature while being a very short drive to the town centre and to amazing wineries. Highly recommend, my wife, son and I had the best time!

Jill's place was a lovely escape in the country. The cottage is cute and the garage area with additional beds was useful for our larger party too and great that it had air conditioning too. We enjoyed the outside space and proximity to the wineries too. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Our third stay at Whimbrel - we love it here! The house is well appointed and well kept, and Valentina is a brilliant, easily contactable, communicative host. As a guest you check yourself in and out, Whimbrel is the only residence on the property and you have it entirely to yourself - which we appreciate. If we are coming in and out late at night the only ones we are disturbing are the local wombats. A home away from home (with better views)! Has everything you could ask for - comfy beds, spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, a peaceful garden to relax and have a cup of tea in the mornings, and a cosy firepit outside or fireplace inside for the evenings. Quiet, but not isolated - we still have good phone/internet reception on our (Telstra) phones. Lots of solitude, very quiet, large property with neighbours a good distance away. Literally a few hundred metres down the road from the glorious Capertee National park! There are so many beautiful places to visit from here, Whimbrel is right in the middle of the Capertee birdwatching trail, if you are into that (we are). Capertee being so lush and green this year we saw an abundance of birdlife and wildlife during our 8 days. As for shops, it is a scenic drive 25mins up the road to Kandos IGA for all the groceries and essentials, and on to Rylestone for a Mexican dinner at Pepinos (highly recommend the chimichangas!). The only issue with this place is that you won't want to leave! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us :)

After a hectic Christmas this was the perfect getaway location for our small family and exactly what we were looking for. Private, peaceful, and left to our own devices to explore the farm or jump into nearby Mudgee. Pick some eggs, say hello to the cows, or just blow bubbles in the wind - our 4 year old enjoyed it as much as we did. Hit the spot for what we needed and matched what we read on the description. Would recommend.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Jamaicaville, it was extremely peaceful and a great place to relax. Marcia was very helpful with all instructions and tips on the area, we will definitely be back!

What an amazing place to stay! Anna and Norbert were amazing hosts as well! We notified Anna of our ETA and Norbert was waiting for us as the door. The house was clean and well prepared. You could tell that the hosts have given a lot of thought into it to make the guests as comfortable and convenient as possible. Norbert was a terrific tour guide of their farm. Our kids had a great time feeding the farm animals and we adults had an insightful conversation of the farm and their produce. I would highly recommend getting some of our olive oils before you leave, it is amazing with salad and bread or stir fry cooking with it. Must must try! It was great to huddle around the outdoor open fire after dinner and spend the night over a bottle of their wine and enjoy the sound of the crackling fire. Wonderful place, terrific hosts, beautiful region, what more could you ask for?

This is a A+ Airbnb. Well stocked kitchen, loads of books and games, great spaces to spread out or come together. Beds super comfy. Lots of blankets / fans places to relax. Great getaway if you are wanting to relax, read on the deck, swim in the pool, play games on the lawn. 30min drive to Mudgee wasn’t too bad we did it 3 times during our week, cooked and ate at the house. Too a wine tour which was great they picked us up from the house. Needed to book balloons in advance, but didn’t need lots of activities, walked on the property, swan, read. Great week away with the family 😍

We had a wonderful time at Nicole’s place with our baby grandson while our daughter attended a retreat close by.…so wonderful we stayed an extra night! Hi-lites were the lil’ potbelly in the cottage that kept us cosy the entire time and the friendly cow visiting literally just outside our back door. Nicole is a very generous host with nice complimentary touches like a bottle of local wine, brekky cereals & hot chocolate… We are definitely planning to stay again and will bring extended family to join us in Nicole’s other beautiful accommodation on the property that we had a sneak peak of 🧡

We had a wonderful stay at Claudine and Alan’s cottage. The place was incredibly charming, private and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. It was well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make it feel like a home away from home. The best part was that it was pet-friendly, which made it even more special for us and our dogs. Claudine was friendly and responsive, always quick to answer any questions we had. Directions to the cottage were clear and easy to follow, so we had no trouble finding the place. The surrounding farm added a lovely touch, especially with the adorable miniature ponies that we could watch and feed from the property – they were definitely a highlight! Overall, it was a perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway to Mudgee, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy, pet-friendly retreat.

We stayed at Tamara’s property and had a wonderful time. Location is private and quiet but close enough to drive to town if need be. House was very clean and aesthetically beautiful, and all the amenities worked well. Absolutely would spend time there again!

Just as amazing as I remembered it from my last stay. Chontelle and Tim were welcoming and their dogs were very patient with my enthusiastic puppy. I felt very welcome and when I had to cut my trip short due to personal reasons Chontelle was amazingly responsive and supportive.

Orana Grove in Mudgee is a serene escape with breathtaking views, cozy accommodations, and exceptional hospitality. Perfect for a relaxing getaway amidst nature! We absolutely enjoyed our stay in 2024 Christmas break with family. Would definitely visit back and highly recommend. Rika

We had a fantastic stay at Odd Frog Airbnb! The views were stunning, and Fiona, the owner, was very responsive. The kids loved the big yard to play in and enjoyed seeing the chickens on the property. A peaceful and family-friendly getaway—highly recommend!

If you want to take some time away from the hustle and bustle and have a great family holiday in the country, this is the place for you, take a step back in time to a much simpler life lived. You can put on the fire and read your book in the library, with a cup of tea, build a fire in the backyard fire pit and sit around melting marshmallows and looking up at the stars, make your own pizza's and cook them in the outside pizza oven, sit on the front verandah sipping your favourite drink and watching the cows go by. You can swing from the kurrajong tree and paddle in the creek or you can read your book, have a drink and a skinny dip in the outdoor bath. You never have to leave the property.

Absolutely incredible stay! We spent 2 nights on Melissa's beautiful property and loved every minute. The house was comfortable, spacious and had plenty of room for our dogs. The views outside were stunning and we loved making the most of our time on the property walking up the hill, or enjoying a wine on the front porch. Melissa's recommendations for food and wine across Mudgee were so well thought out, right down to all of the wineries that were dog friendly so it helped make our time in the area so well planned and organised. Thank you for having us for the weekend, we will definitely be back :)

Absolutely beautiful place to get away and connect with nature ,. the cottage was both modern and a feel of the good old days bringing back memories of my childhood at grandma’s home . Waking up the birds and the awesome sunrise was just magnificent with a coffee on the verandah . I would highly recommended this stay . I will definitely be returning in the near future. Our easter break was amazing. Guest house overlooking the vineyard, mountains, dam and bushland was breathtaking. We were in the 3-bedroom house, and it was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Dog friendly which the dogs enjoyed running around and we enjoyed our walks. The winery was a very nice experience which we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly, and our host Rebecca was amazing. Would recommend the stay if you want a quiet relaxing stay. Defiantly going back.
