Holiday rentals with breakfast in Evora

I would highly recommend Horta dos Caracóis to any group! The stay undoubtedly surpasses the photos and description of the accommodation. We also highlight the care and kindness shown by the Host during check-in, as well as throughout the stay.

Wow - we had such a wonderful time in this magical place! Lola & Mirko created something really special and we could feel all the love and dedication that they put into every detail. We loved our little caravan that was cozy, comfortable and beautiful. Lolas vegetarian breakfast was amazing! So was our time in the SPA with the sauna and hot tub. We had wonderful conversations, shared a spontaneous cacao & sound ceremony and felt welcome and at home in every moment. Thank you so much, Lola & Mirko ♥️

We booked Luís place for a special birthday & it was just the most amazing, rejuvenating place. The salt water pool was magical, beautiful, loving dogs on site, incredibly comfortable & luxurious feeling beds, bathrooms were spotless, lovely interior design modern Mediterranean style. The care takers were so caring, made a beautiful breakfast & catered for my dietary requirements. They were so kind, helpful & did everything to make us feel comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer & will be back for another special occasion in the future. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Mila’s house is lovely and peaceful and comfortable, well-equipped with everything you need. The stand out feature is Mila’s hospitality and kindness - from the wonderful breakfasts to fresh vegetables from the garden and preparing food for us as we were arriving late in the evening. Thank you, Mila!

Beautiful farmhouse surrounded by nature and so close to Evora. The highlight was the fireplace, super cosy stay.

If you are looking for a rustic escape and love vintage charm, this is the place for you! Miguel's house is in a very peaceful setting where you will only hear birds and the occasional sheep. There are plenty of places to lounge around the property, including of course next to the beautiful pool. The house is a converted water mill which, along with the many antique items and furniture, makes you feel like you have a window to the past. The house is also quite spacious, with 3 full bathrooms and multiple rooms. There were only 3 of us, and we were swimming in space. Another thing to note is Miguel's hospitality. He is a very warm person and came to check on us several times during our stay. Not only that, but he left us fresh bread every morning, and we were shocked to find that the kitchen was fully stocked with yogurt, cheese, ham, fruit, butter, jam, and all kinds of snacks. In terms of downsides, it's worth noting that this house is not for everyone. It is quirky and not everything works like in a modern home. There is no AC, and Alentejo gets very hot, although the home does stay fairly cool due to its design. There are also many hungry feral cats that hang around outside, which got a bit much at times. However, if you are the type of person who is interested in this place, chances are that none of these things should bother you. Overall it's a wonderful home!
