This place was absolutely perfect for my little birthday getaway with a friend and my pup! We live in an apartment so my dog loved the freedom of the fenced in yard and it was so nice to sit out there and relax! I 10/10 recommend!

Melissa's place was an amazing stay for our first weekend in Asheville. The house was incredible. So clean, well stocked, soft sheets with nice mattresses, hot tub and great views. Melissa was very responsive and pleasant. We're excited to come back to visit Asheville and support the rebuilding after the hurricane.

Even Better the Second Time — A Home Away from Home This was my second stay at Brett’s and honestly, it felt like coming home. Everything I loved about the first visit — the peaceful wooded setting, the open and airy layout, the perfect mix of comfort and functionality — was just as wonderful, if not better. The space is ideal for both group hangs and solo recharge time. From playing pool downstairs to soaking in the hot tub to sipping tea in the sunroom, there’s something grounding and rejuvenating about being here. Brett has created a space that feels easy — easy to settle into, easy to enjoy, and easy to leave feeling rested and renewed. The thoughtful touches, clear communication, and consistency in cleanliness and comfort are why I’ll keep coming back. couldn't have asked for a better location. Walking distance to lots and lots of restaurants and breweries. Joe's instructions were clear and the home was clean and very comfortable. thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations!

"Modern cabin" is a modest description ... I would call this a mountain retreat! There were four of us (two couples), but the home would have easily accommodated eight. The design of the house was well thought out and roomy, and the decor was stylish and tasteful. It did not seem like a rental. The kitchen was fully equipped. Thick towels and a bubbly hot tub awaited our arrival, and the Saturday morning scones & hot chocolate were a delightful treat! Perfect spot for a remote get-away, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Ashville and many other attractions. We could not have been happier with this "cabin"!

First, Doug and Marcia are lovely folks - warm and helpful. The views of their farm, the animals, and the mountains from the porch are terrific. The rooms are very clean and they make it extra nice with snacks and brochures with information about the area. We will be back!

Owen was very thoughtful and very accommodating. The place is right next to the forest and very quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped and had basic condiments already, which made easy for us to cook there. Surely we will stay agin in the future when i visit this area.

Great place. Very well stocked with spices if you’re looking to cook. Quiet and private. Great to bring a dog with a fenced yard. Clean and comfortable. Slept well. Good value. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

The cottage was perfect and peaceful. Easy walk to several restaurants. Wonderful back yard and very cozy.

I lived in the cottage for two months and it’s a very special place. Magical touches abound, extremely thoughtfully stocked, and above and beyond hospitality. The bed is comfy, the hot tub under the stars is dreamy, and the location is peaceful and close to nature & the sweetest coffee shop on the east side. Kambra’s hosting is really what makes this place stand out—she is extremely responsive, kind, and laid back. I felt right at home and can’t recommend highly enough!

It was a wonderful stay. The home has a cozy boho vibe, I fell in love instantly. My favorite part of the stay is their record player with a small record collection. I would stay at the house again!

Matthew’s cabin was a perfect place for my stay in Asheville. The location was convenient to all the highlights and activities of Asheville while also being a bit removed in a tranquil setting. The space was very comfortable.

Everything was beyond my expectations, so comfy, cleaned, cozy, you have everything you need to not have the need to go anywhere! I’d be booking this property again! And mostly important, NO MICE ISSUES AT ALL! Just keep trash bags inside the garage as instructed ! Thank you Tami!

From the first day we arrived I was in awe , the cottage was very clean with nice relaxing views of the mountains, the swimming pool was excellent, mrs Brenda Brooks was very nice knowledgeable and helpful. She made our stay very nice. I’m planning to go back next year. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want to go for relaxation and a peace of mind. The local supermarket in Burnsville Ingles was excellent. It was so big and it had everything that you could want. I would just like to say thank you Mrs. Brooks for the lovely time at your place.

Great house if you don’t want to contend with winding mountain roads and don’t mind being 20 minutes from downtown. Perfect location for a relaxing weekend. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed greatly, and expansive back yard gives great feeling of privacy. Rooms were all spacious enough for 8 adults to be comfortable. Would definitely book again for a mountain getaway!

the kitchen is well-stocked and suitable to cook for large parties. we really appreciated that. the house is big enough for 2 or 3 different families to have plenty of space and of course, the game room is so nicely seperated from the formal living room. we had 2 challenges while there which didn't put me off but didn't make the experience quite worth the price range, which is top for that area. One, the fireplace in the main room was without gas and none was available during the holiday week. That's a main feature of the home that wasn't working properly. two, Rumbling Bald Property management is very responsive but not quite forthcoming with linens;) we had 1 kitchen towel and ONE bath towel per person...for a 7 day stay. and there's a hot tub, besides! the house didn't quite deliver the service that the price range suggests but it has the potential to. the property management IS on site and they ARE responsive, so just being really clear and communicative is necessary.

I cannot recommend this property enough! From the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by how clean and spacious the home was. It was impeccably maintained, with every detail thoughtfully cared for. The layout was perfect for relaxing or entertaining, and it felt like a true home away from home. The cleanliness stood out the most—everything was spotless and fresh, which made the stay so much more enjoyable. The hosts clearly take pride in maintaining their property to the highest standard. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

Josh’s place was great for my dog Bailey and I! Booked very last minute and he was more than accommodating. He had the nicest backyard - my dog loved it! He also introduced himself to me during my stay and went out of his way to provide so many great food recommendations. Highly recommend and will stay again in the future when I’m in Asheville!
