Unique location close to the castle hill. Beautifully renovated old house where we felt like home. Walkable distance to nice cafes and restaurants. Easy drive to stunning Atlantic Coast. Good WiFi connection and great facilities when you need to work remotely. Very approachable and friendly hosts. We can highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful place to stay! The most beautiful bnb ever. The view of Portimao, the beautiful garden, lovely apartment in style and put friendly host. In short, “we'll be back”!

We enjoyed it very much with Rudi and Angélica. It is very nicely designed and was as described. The children enjoyed the presence of the animals very much and moved freely on the large green property. A car is an advantage. The two are very friendly and gave us good tips. Thank you again for the wonderful time at your place!

We had very nice days in the nice apartment. It is quiet and idyllic and the children had a lot of space to romp. It was stocked with everything we needed. Unfortunately we had some bad luck with the weather and it was cold and rainy. I hadn't seen when booking that there is no heating. However, we were able to heat the apartment very well with the fireplace and enjoyed the evenings in front of the warm fire. We would mist definitely visit again. Thank you for the beautiful days and the delicious homemade fruits and vegetables!

Robin was a great host and dedicated to supporting an enjoyable stay. We really enjoyed the view of the stars from our balcony that was not spoiled by any light pollution. It was truly an enjoyable stay. There were many wonderful hikes that we explored that were very close to Vida Pura. Worth it.

Monica’s place was great for our stay. It turned out that we had rain much of our 6 day stay and it was damp. Monica’s unit had wall mounted heaters (in the bedrooms and main room) that worked well. (These provide air conditioning in the hot months). Additionally the unit was spacious, clean and well laid out (which gave us space). The bed (we used only the primary bed) was comfortable and there was an additional warm blanket in the closet. (This speaks to the thoughtfulness.). The location is quiet (for sleeping) at night and is very convenient to tour (drive) around the Algarve.

Very nice place to relax, to enjoy nature, to do hikes. I would love to come back and stay for a longer time.

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our time at Helenas place und would definitely recommend it, if you're looking for a quiet place, but still not far from the tourist spots.

If it was possible to give 10 stars fom 5 I would do so. We directly felt at home and Willliam was the perfect host. We will definately come back.... We really loved staying at their retreat and gathered a lot of beautiful inspirations how to plant and build in the nature!

Frederico's apartment is a wonderful place. Here you can unwind and leave the world behind a little. Yes, there is a little industry in view. But the beautiful terrace, the orange, lemon and olive trees on the large property, the great views and the proximity to Tavira and other beautiful places on the Algarve offer pure vacation feeling. The apartment is cozy and it lacks nothing. We felt very comfortable. Frederico is very friendly and helpful and we had the privacy we wanted. We will be happy to come back.

Sergio's Eco-Villa is a little paradise! We had a fantastic stay. The house was very confortable, clean and decorated with great taste. We really enjoyed the view from the rooftop terrasse. The land around the house has lots of interesting trees and wild flowers (very green at this time of the year!) and it was so nice to hear birds singing in the morning and evening. It felt like being in a little oasis of peace. Sergio and his team were very friendly and responsive. No regret to have booked this place to finish our holidays in Algarve. I can highly recommend it and we will certainly book again, it is such a unique place! Obrigado!

My Portuguese home! I stayed for two months - could have stayed longer. The vibe of this place is wonderful, it instantly feels warm and cosy. A place to relax and recalibrate. The gardens are beautiful with lemon trees welcoming you from the entrance, almond trees blossoming and roses surrounding you whilst you dine alfresco. Kathleen was a super host, responsive and attentive. Lilian looked after me on site impeccably, even saving me after I’d locked myself out! Adriano was super friendly when he came weekly to clean the pool and look after the garden. The kitchen is great for home cooking with everything you need. The main shower was delicious and the main bed was like a dream. Everything has been thought about and is setup as a home and not as a airbnb (or hotel). Thanks Kathleen, see you again soon!

We just had a great two weeks of vacation in this small house ideal for two people and very well equipped. The setting is idyllic if you appreciate the calm. The owners are very friendly, responsive and attentive while being very discreet. A means of transport is essential to reach the estate. We highly recommend this rental.

We wanted a place that was quiet where we could rest but still go places easily. The room was lovely and the bed mattress was very comfortable, which is important. We slept great! The outside was very unique and well decorated and also had many very comfortable places to sit to read or lay in the sun. Our host was exceptional in all the help he gave us in recommending restaurants and places of interest. He was caring and was easy to talk to. Their two dogs were very friendly and their flock was well cared for and beautiful to see. It was a relaxing and wonderful getaway for us, and we were not disappointed. :)

A comfortable, clean and well equipped little villa in beautiful surroundings. Extremely peaceful and relaxing and only a short drive to a lovely old town with shops, restaurants and history. Ideally located to explore the area - 30 mins drive to the coast and an hour from the airport. Would highly recommend a stay here if you like to get away from the tourist traps and enjoy being surrounded by nature.

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

We had an amazing and very inspirational stay at the Cuddle Farm. More than tourism or airbnb their place is really a life project of Femke and her family. We felt priviliged having been able to experience and enjoy their little farm and entanglement of nature and culture 🙂

Thomas was and is the perfect host. Super helpful, always open and nice communication! The house itself was just great. The size of the house doesn't really come across in the pictures - it's gigantic. You live completely for yourself and have complete privacy. Gardener and pool boy keep everything around the house in good shape. We worked from here for 6 weeks - Internet impeccable, workstations and numerous seating available for calls. A car is absolutely necessary as it is a bit outside. Galé Beach or Albufeira are about 12 minutes. However, an Uber doesn't cost much either. For shopping, we recommend the Intermarché in Ferreiras or the Aldi, which is only a few minutes' drive away. Conclusion: We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful location, we had a great Time!

My partner and I had the most wonderful couple of nights at Casa Brava! Marco and Julie greeted us on arrival and made us feel right at home. The suite was beautifully decorated (and had everything we needed) and the grounds of the property were amazing - in particular the natural pool. Breakfast was also a highlight! We wished we could stay longer and will hopefully be back again!
