Holiday rentals with lake access in Faroe Islands

Comfortable and cosy place to stay. People complained about the TV being in the small downstairs bedroom, but I thought it was very cosy and convenient to have it in there. The view out the window is great and you have a small local supermarket 1 minute walk away. There are also very nice hikes from the doorstep. I hiked to Fjallvatn lake which I can highly recommend. There are many other options. I would recommend this place!

Cozy, peaceful house. Great location for exploring by car. Amazing view of the mountain from the windows. Enjoyed exploring the bookshelf full of wonderful books on the birds and history of Faroe. Parking is convenient on the road and there's a large grocery store nearby so we were able to easily cook our own meals. Kitchen had everything we needed as far as cookware and food storage goes, and having laundry machines was also an added convenience for our weeklong trip.

Perfect place to stay with beautiful surroundings. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Recommend to people who would like to explore northern islands.

Beautifully designed, cozy little boathouse with a breathtaking view over the fjord. This was handsdown one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. Sauna, extremely well-equipped kitchen (e.g. airfryer), immaculately clean, very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect to explore several (really all) of the Faeroe Islands, you can get to Tórshavn without using a toll tunnel from there. Very friendly and helpful hosts, who made the stay perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. it was perfext for two, but can easily accommodate more (3 bedrooms of which we only used 2). the interior is a true gem - a way-back-machine to the early 20th century, antique furniture, a shockingly well equipped kitchen (really, kudos for that! ther is also a cupboard with proper cocktail tools, something i've never seen in airbnbs before...), while not missing out on any amenities. I would gladly come again! Also, there was the most lovely guest book. If you want to check out the Elusive Glass Puffin and where to find it plus other guest's local recommendations, you need to visit yourself and have a look!

Susanna was an excellent host and had some good tips in her booklets. The house was immaculate and cosy. Perfect for a family of 4. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room very pleasant to unwind after a day touring the islands. The house looks beautiful and is in a quiet village. Perfect to recharge the batteries.

i hesitate to say how wonderful it was...because, selfishly, i want to keep it pristine and hidden. if you get the chance to spend some time at this charming cabin in elduvik, do it! it's a gem. (the only downside was the industrious neighbor who was working on his cabin til 8pm, but it didn't dampen our lovely time.)

Lovely house in a nice central location. From here you can make all kinds of trips. Petur and Maria are very friendly and helpful host and hostess. It is also very nice that we were allowed to use the washing machine and dryer. The house is also very cozily furnished and in the kitchen everything is provided to cook a meal yourself.

Karsten and Durita are the very best hosts! They were hospitable, friendly and very helpful, far behind their host duties ❣️ The apartment is absolutely wonderful, well equipped and with a really great view. It is a calm place, where you can relax after busy days outdoors in the Faroe Islands. We spent a great 12 nights and days there. The only negative thing was, that we had to leave ☺️

The apartment was superbly located with great views and walk right down to the water. Very cozy neighborhood and close to Thorshavn. We loved the hosts' recommendations and felt very at home and welcome. In the apartment was everything we needed and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. We'll definitely be back.

We are satisfied with our stay at Erland's... beautiful location, nice and well heated apartment... no complaints... small regret: that the toilets are not separated from the bathroom... maybe missing a broom for the little cleaning...

Great stay, Nicolina is responsive and helpful. The house is clean and has all you need.

We stayed one night in this lovely little village. The apartment was new and everything worked out really well. There is a nice hike over the mountain north of the village.
