Holiday rentals in Ferryhill

We had a lovely stay in a truly beautiful cottage - perfect for family’s. The garden - front and back - are perfect for a dog to run off some energy. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable - excellent kitchen with everything you could possibly need - and Ed and Caroline were really. The village of Carlton is peaceful and unspoilt - the Forresters Arms is a great local pub and the meal we had was first class. There are so many lovely walks to explore from the front door - Ed and Caroline provide maps and loads of suggestions for days out. We’d recommend a trip Middleham Castle which has amazing views from the top and it’s a great village to stop and have a coffee while watching the race horses go by. Elm Tree Cottage is a really great spot for a break no matter the weather.

What a stunning little cottage. Great space for me, hubby and our dog. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. It was very comfortable and cosy and the attention to detail is amazing. The welcome basket was an added bonus and very much appreciated. It was just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bedale and it has everything you need.

Great base for a walk of the Cleveland way, place and lots of character and was well kitted out. Convenient location with a shop and pub across the road

We had a fabulous stay at Lisa and Martin’s cottage and felt at home straight away. The cottage is built to a beautiful standard, with the 65 inch TV, large living space, well equipped kitchen, and hot tub. Lisa and Martin are great hosts, we were provided with clear directions and instructions to access the property. They were very also generous with the amount of wood they had left us for the log burner. We hope to come back and stay here again 😊

We stayed at Neil's place for a long weekend, it is ideally situated for fabulous walks with waterfalls. It is so well equipped, like home from home. My kids loved the table football, felt at ease with the hard floors and dirty dogs, the garage was a great drying place for the pooches. In summer the garden would be a beautiful place to eat and drink. I will definitely be back, such a gem!

Easiest review to write, two words... Absolutely Stunning! Pool table provided entertainment and a hot tub to relax in. The local pub provided lovely homely food and the view from the garden was just sublime.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

This is the second time staying at Debra's place. We couldn't wait to come back after the first time so didn't even look at any other places when booking. It's so cosy and feels like a home from home. Everything is always so spotlessly clean and there is always everything we need. Debra is a fab host and always responds when we have a question. The apartment is a perfect location to walk to town and to the local beaches. There is honestly nothing negative to say about this place. If you're planning to come to Seaham and go seaglass hunting then do not hesitate to book here. We can't wait to come back!
