Beach house holiday rentals in Filey

We had an absolutely great weekend at Seashells. As a three-generation family group, the house was perfect for us. Diane was very responsive and helpful. Before we even left we booked to go again next year! Great for families - location, layout, amenities, comfort!

Thomas’ house in Sandsend is lovely - we stayed for 3 nights as a family of 4 (and two dogs). The garden area was great and spacious and you can see the sea from there. The kitchen was well equipped too. Sandsend itself is peaceful and beautiful. The beach is a couple of minutes walk and we liked the Cafe right on the front.

Stayed over the Easter bank holiday weekend, great pre arrival instructions and local recommendations were really helpful. Easy to find, park and access the property. Everything inside was immaculate and in good order. Whitby centre easily walkable. No hesitation in recommending to others.

Lovely weekend away in Sandsend. A beautiful holiday home just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Nice and private, plenty of parking, would recommend.

Gorgeous place to stay. Great access to the beach, restaurants and bus into Whitby. Couldn’t have picked a better location. The cottage was lovely inside, very comfortable and pristine. It was the perfect place for our getaway and celebration. Loved it!

My husband stayed with 4 mates for the annual scooter rally. They all thought it was a great place to stay and extremely comfortable. Camilla was super friendly and helpful! They would deffo stay again!

We loved staying in The Haven. The location is literally a few yards from the beach, as well as the small number of shops, cafés and pubs. The house was spotless when we arrived and has bundles of character. It also had all the facilities we needed. Gordon was so friendly and helpful, from the moment I booked right through to telling us the cottage was ready for us to check in earlier than usual. For a family of four I can’t recommend The Haven enough.

Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Lovely comfortable and clean house. Great location for the beach and to get around the local area. The kids enjoyed the board games, bucket and spades and playing with other children on the site. We enjoyed a walk along the beach into Filey which was nice. The house was lovely and warm and cosy. Also liked the fact there were plenty of hangers and space to store out stuff! We struggled to use the swimming pool on site because it was so busy with it being Easter holidays and the weather being bad. This is obviously no reflection on the accommodation itself but our kids were a bit disappointed as that’s one of the reasons we booked the place. Just worth bearing in mind if visiting in school hols - best to go early morning.

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

Perfect location if you want to watch bungee jumps and why I booked in the first place! Nice and quiet and great communication. Loved the welcome snacks and added bonus for the travel toothbrushes and toothpaste as one of the kids forgot theirs. The pool was open and was a great bonus since the jump was cancelled, will rebook for sure.

great mattresses and pillows. sofa in living room really comfy. nice lay out terrible shower, couldn't rinse shampoo out, had to flush both toilets twice, needed a few more cutlery and crockery

Lovely house in the Old Town of Scarborough. Immaculately clean and has everything needed for a stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boiling House. The house has a lovely homely feel, was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. David was a really welcoming host, giving us a quick tour of the house before leaving us to it. The bottle of Prosecco was a well appreciated touch! We'd love to return. Thank you David!

We had a great time here in Whitby. The house is huge and well equipped and we had plenty of space for our group of 12. We appreciated being able to explore by foot as the house is within walking distance of the station, the town and the beach. Would love to return and stay a bit longer!

Lovely house - nice and clean and had ever we needed. Enough seating for the 5 of us and beds were really comfortable. Two bathrooms were a definite bonus. No problems with parking close to the house which is quite unusual in Whitby. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Helen & Lees' places was spectacular! The Hosts offered us an authentic Yorkshire hospitality. We highly recommend to other guests and will definitely visit again.

We had a lovely stay in monkeypowder. We loved the layout with the bedrooms downstairs and living area on the ground floor. The living room has great sea views and an area to sit and lookout. There is a huge comfortable sofa and great wallpaper of a view of Scarborough. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and a great space to enjoy a meal together. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a modern ensuite. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we loved the quirky furniture. Free parking was a bonus and a great location to explore Scarborough.

Really nice quiet spot located right in Filey. The garden was secure and great for our nervous dog Chico. Also a big plus was the lack of light pollution - we were lucky to get a few clear nights and it was a nice opportunity to do some stargazing. I've not been to Filey before and I really liked it, it was a nice place for a chilled out trip with the dog in the winter
