Gather around the waterfront fire pit after a day of adventures to enjoy s’mores and stunning sunsets. Everything you’ll need to prepare a gourmet meal or a quick snack is provided in the fully equipped kitchen including spices, bakeware, a variety of kitchen appliances, and other cooking essentials. All three beds feature memory foam and cozy bedding to provide a wonderful night’s sleep. The house is fully stocked with Smart televisions including cable, high speed wifi, a washer and dryer, toiletries, and plenty of books, puzzles, toys and games. Bayview Cottage is an ideal home for families or a group of friends enjoying the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast! Bayview Cottage may also be rented in conjunction with Bayview House, a larger home that sleeps 4 guests and is located right next door. Consider renting both homes together for larger parties or a gathering where families may want their own space. Together both homes can accommodate parties of 8 and each home has a full kitchen and a washer/dryer! This waterfront property is great for cozy evenings around the firepit. During low tide clam from the property or take a nature hike around the bay. Large picture windows provide views of the incredible sunsets while staying warm and cozy indoors. Along with the cottage, enjoy the deck with lawn chairs as well as the waterfront fire pit in the private backyard. I am available by phone, text or email at anytime during your stay. I live nearby if you need anything while you are at the cottage. The cottage is located just a few blocks from Downtown North Bend, a small coastal town with shops, restaurants, antique stores and pubs. Located at the end of a quiet road next to a nature park providing ample opportunity to observe wildlife including deer and many birds. A short drive to several beaches and sand dunes for a day full of outdoor adventures. Plenty of parking for your toys including boats and trailers is available. World famous Bandon Dunes Golf Course is less than a 30 minute drive away! Conveniently located just a few blocks off of the Scenic Coastal Highway and a quick 5 minute drive to the North Bend airport.

Walk to the Beach from Cozy Cottage

The house has a cozy fireplace, a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the front yard and front porch, a fully equipped kitchen, DVD's, board games, and plenty of books. The Master Bedroom features a king sized bed. The second bedroom has two twins, which can be made into a king (for an added $75 charge). The living room is equipped with a queen sized sofa bed. The entire home is decorated in a beautiful blue and white beach theme, high-end finishes, and equipped with everything to make your stay perfect. As a guest in our home, you have access to all interior spaces, a full backyard, and an off street driveway. You also have access to a storage shed in the backyard that has beach toys, one cruiser style bike, beach chairs, a s'mores center and tools for cooking out. Additional bikes can be rented at the bike shop about a half mile up the road. Info on rental rates is included at the home for your convenience. If you desire, you can also access Newport's Fitness and Aquatic Center using complimentary passes provided to our guests. To access, simply let us know you'd be interested in your initial introductory message and upon reservation confirmation we will let you know how to access the passes stored in the house. Your stay at The Cozy Cottage includes our "Best Of Newport" guidebook with our personal recommendations for restaurants and activities in the local area. During your stay you can also text us with any urgent questions. Located in Nye Beach, which is referred to as "the Gem of the Oregon Coast.” Explore lively eateries, pubs, upscale gift and clothing shops, and the Newport Performing Arts Center. Take time to visit the Rogue Brewery and the Oregon Coast Aquarium. From our home you can walk to everything in Nye Beach, and are just a short drive from all that Newport has to offer. Newport is approximately a three hour drive from Portland, Oregon. Animals are not allowed in this home as it is designated as an animal-allergen free home due to allergies on behalf of the homeowner. Also absolutely No Smoking is allowed anywhere on the property including inside the house, in the yard or in the driveway.

On the Bay across from Charleston Harbor. Bright, clean, and cozy, rustic 1940s era cottage duplex, perfect for frugal travelers. Features kitchenette, comfortable queen bed plus fold-out sofa bed in the living room. There is no view from inside the cottage, but a small patio with fire pit (weather permitting) is available with gorgeous views from outside the cottage. Cottage A is close to Cape Arago Hwy., and receives more road noise than any of our other properties.

We are 3-1/2 miles from the North Bend (McCullough) Bridge and only about 5 miles from the nearest beach, Horsfall Beach, and the famous sand dunes. This is our guest house, but you will enjoy plenty of privacy in this quiet little cottage. You may also enjoy your large private deck and flower garden that we've created for your enjoyment.
