Waterfront holiday rentals in Folly Beach

Great place for a low key staycation! Beautiful, place was accurately described. Just the perfect balance of nice and accessible.

Nikki’s place was spotlessly clean, offered beautiful views in a great location and was just what we needed for our family of 4 for Isle of Palms. We have two kids 9 and 12 who slept in the bunk beds (which they loved) and my husband and I felt the Queen bed was very comfortable in the bedroom. There was a pullout coach as well to use but my kids wanted to sleep in the bunk beds. The unit was spotless, had Keurig machine, dishes/cups/glasses cooking utensils making it easy to have breakfast and lunch in the unit every day. Nikki also provided great information about the area and was very responsive when we had questions. You really can’t beat the location in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to IOP!

This house was a lot of fun for our family. My kids loved all the fun additions like ping pong, records player, and Games. They thought the turtles off the back deck were great! There was plenty of room for us to comfortably spread out. The owners have done a nice job re-decorating and updating this home. It’s really stylish and on trend. Our only complaints were a few missing things like screens on the windows, curtains on the first floor window, and several items in the kitchen that we missed—cutting board, colander, toaster. But well stocked with towels and toiletries, which we really appreciated.

I thank him and his family for allowing mine and my friends senior trip possible. The place was amazing and they were lovely.

This stay was very cozy and cute. We had all of the kitchen supplies we needed and enjoyed the snacks she provided.

Very short walk to the beach. Located in Wild Dunes, this condo unit is at the far end of the island, and we had tons of space on the beach. You also get access to the pool and golf course. Uber/Lyft readily available for transportation to downtown or across the bridge to Charleston. The condo itself is basic so if you need extra towels, pillows, and blankets, bring them. Overall a great value for the weekend stay.

We absolutely loved this little home located on the creek north of Mount Pleasant. From the very beginning, Kathy was wonderful at communicating with us and made our transition to and from so easy. Her and her husband were so kind and helped us get our little boat situated in the water when we arrived. Our stay was exactly what we hoped it to be! Thank you for sharing your home with all of us. We hope to be back in the Charleston area again!

This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at. The location on the water and the home decorated with the owners family heirlooms creates a unique experience to take in the local culture. Waking up every AM with my friends was an amazing way to start the day. Not only is the home amazing, but Elizabeth’s customer service was 2nd to none. She adapted our reservation multiple times when our plans changed over time, she stayed up late to get us into the home early and was quick to get a handyman when utility issues popped up. If you are looking for an amazing spot that is a short drive (35mins) to Charleston, this is your spot! We were also able to get Ubers into town so no need to have a car!

We enjoyed this Airbnb a lot! Lovely views back and front and the beach is maybe 3 minutes walk (look for the public access sign to the left, about three houses down). Great shower! Lovely kitchen! Comfy sofas! If we ever come back to folly beach, we would love to stay again. For the mobility challenged, it is only 12 steps to front door, unlike a lot of neighboring houses, which are on stilts and have 25+ steps. 😁

We enjoyed the house and it was larger than the pictures capture. we liked the openness of the kitchen, dining and living space. Great outdoor spaces as well. Quick walk to the beach and to a back dock overlooking the marsh. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. All was as advertised. Everything was clean and worked well. Definitely a great option!

The house was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved playing outside on the rope swing, taking the kayaks on the river, and watching wildlife from the dock. The property is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the Bohicket River, oak trees dripping in Spanish moss, and azaleas and fruit tress blooming. Cyndi and Stephen are kind as can be and wonderful hosts. We loved exploring the area, too. The beach at Kiawah Island is a quick drive and absolutely lovely.

We come to Folly every year and the Marsh House is our new favorite! It’s right across the beach for sunrise walks and has the best marsh views at sunset. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog and the warm water in the outdoor shower was a nice surprise. When we had an issue with the hose, Donald was very responsive and came by the next day to replace it without even being asked. We really appreciated this as a hose is essential for sandy beach trips and washing off the pup. We’ll definitely be back!

This space was great! Short walk to the beach, pool access, and all the beauty of the Sea Islands. Mona was kind enough to arrange an early check in for us. The space itself was spotless. The bed was comfy, kitchen had some essentials provided which is always helpful in a vacation rental. We also really appreciated that there were beach chairs, towels and beach bags available since we flew so we couldn't bring our own beach equipment. Mona was super communicative and accessing the space was easy. Note: don't follow the Google Maps direction the first time you come in so you can get your pass at the Residential Gate to Wild Dunes. Mona wrote that in the instructions but I still got confused and went to the second Wild Dunes entrance, not the first.

Had a great stay at Elizabeth's place. the place is just as seen in pictures. Easy to find, great location. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Loved the beach view on the balcony with our morning coffee. Would definitely stay there again.

The Condo was exactly as described. Thomas was very responsive with any questions we had. No issues arose at all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Folly Beach

Very nice place! Easy to walk to everything. Grocery store very close and multiple restaurants within a half mile to walk. Would recommend to anyone.

The condo was beautiful, with spacious outdoor decks overlooking the ocean (2 decks) and golf course (1 deck). Comfy beds, updated furnishings, well equipped kitchen, great location.

The view is WORTH it!!!!!!! There is an elevator to take you to the condo! The condo was very, very clean!!! It is decorated in a typical homey Southern beach style. The kitchen is small (it does a good job of not taking away the view) but it does have absolutely everything you need to have gourmet meals . Beach access is super close and easy! The beach was extremely peaceful and NOT crowded!!! Harris Teeter is approx 1 mile away~ The first floor is wheelchair/walker friendly. I would recommend for families or those enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets~
