Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fort Bragg

Second time staying here, and I’m hopeful to come back again!

Sy’s place was the perfect getaway. Clean, comfortable & cozy. Big beautiful windows in the living room is the best feature of the house! Comfy furniture, updated kitchen appliances, and cute personal touches/decor. Close to town but feels peaceful and secluded. Highly recommend Sy’s place, will definitely be staying again!

Jeff's place made for a beautiful weekend in Mendocino over Thanksgiving weekend. The property is beautiful and the house is a great size for a family. A couple small things to note that did not deter from a 5 star experience for us: 1) As some other reviews noted, the Wifi was spotty. Jeff was quick to help try and mitigate, but some devices connected, others didn't, and at one point it went out completely. Not an issue for us since we were disconnecting, but something to consider. 2) I would not consider the property walkable even though you're less than a mile from downtown Mendocino. You have to either walk or cross Highway 1 which is a little much. Thankfully, you're only about a 2 minute drive into town! Beautiful house and beautiful area.

We spent the Labor Day weekend here. The house was great - clean and enough spaces for 2 families. The house was at the channel of the clear lake- basically at the entrance of the lake. We brought our inflatable SUP boards and had a great time going into the lake and go look at the houses in the channel. Our kids had a great time in the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped and enough seating for all of us. Definitely recommended!

Kira's place was absolutely magical! Kira was incredibly flexible and understanding of our need to change the dates. We met her briefly when we arrived and she immediately charmed our 6 year old and showed her where the toys and books were. She was incredibly warm and welcoming and had already started a cozy fire that warmed the entire house. The house (built by her parents) is nestled into the forest, very cozy with high ceilings, lots of big windows looking out onto forrest. Its quite spacious and even better than the photos. The house feels private, but is close to wineries and only 15 mins from Boonville. Kira had great recommendations. We also spent a lot of time enjoying the peace of her home with our one month old baby and 6 yr old. We took a bath in the charming outside clawfoot tub with hot water and a view of a large redwood, hiked for an hour up the road and explored the surrounding forrest. I couldnt more highly recommend Kira's place, we definitely hope to get back.

The property is built on a huge lot yet is nice and cozy on the inside. Perfect for a small family/group (we were two small families, each with one 1-year-old infant). Literal acres of backyard space - we went on walks around the backyard, played badminton, saw some deer which the kids enjoyed, and lounged in the hammock under the water tower. Jo is a great host and she and Ed have beautifully chronicled their story of re-building this homestead (almost) from scratch - do take some time to read the photo book on the coffee table! It gave me serious appreciation for the finer points of house construction. Jo is a great host as well, and very accommodating. Loved meeting up with her and talking about the history behind this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Judy’s rental. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all the pots and utensils anyone could want. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. We also appreciated the great yard for our dog. It is fully fenced and even in very wet weather it wasn’t muddy. Thanks for a great stay!

We recently stayed at Renee & David’s and it was such a beautiful stay! The location was super peaceful in the midst of redwood trees. Very private. Renee gave us some great recommendations on things to do, and she even gave us some fresh eggs for breakfast one morning! The place was small and cute and cabin style but still felt modern and clean. Our favorite part was definitely tending to the wood stove fire all weekend which kept it feeling very cozy and warm. The floors are concrete as mentioned so slippers were definitely great to have : ) The bed was also super comfy and we slept great. Extremely quiet environment. Thanks Renee and David for the hospitality!

Great place to stay in a beautiful setting! Tracy and Bart were communicative and thoughtful hosts and very kind when I had an unexpected rental car issue. I would love to visit again at the quaint cabin in the future!

Great cabin in a beautiful location! We had 7 folks staying here and there was room for everyone. Living room is especially well equipped to handle such a large group. Laurie and Greg are so nice and helpful.

There may not be any other place in California that combines serenity, quiet, isolation and comfort like this place, not to mention lake access. Heather puts in a huge amount of effort to maintain the cabins and the area as a whole. I came here in order to recover from some health issues and could not have asked for a better place. Pure healing and pure relaxation. The style / ambience of the cabins is lovingly curated to the last detail.

We loved our stay in Kona Cabin. So peaceful and the surrounding redwoods on the property were magnificent! The cabin is very well equipped. The pellet stove kept us nice and cozy. Robert was quick to help us find the correct breaker switch when the hair dryer tripped it Back to normal in less than 10 min. We would love to stay another time.

What a terrific BnB! This is one of the best stays we've had in a long time. We visited in December with our dog and EV, and it all worked perfectly. If you're looking for a quiet and quaint cabin near Mendocino, this place is perfect. A few tips for anyone staying here 1. The cabin shares the property with another BnB, but is otherwise very private due to the the surrounding trees. Enjoy the open ground amomgst the trees, but be respectful! 2. If you have an EV, the charger is a Juicebox, so if you have a Tesla make sure you bring an adapter. Our car has a CCS port and it worked great immediately (8-9kW average). 3. The cabin looks better in person, but is indeed fairly small. I would recommend for medium size and smaller dogs (smaller than a Labrador). 4. The cabin was very clean, but the cookingware needed to be washed before use. I also would not recommend using the provided non-stick pan. If you plan on baking, bring your own bakeware. Overall, you'll love your stay here!

The Navarro House was one of the most beautiful Airbnb's I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The house itself is unique, warm, and inviting and the setting is spectacular, overlooking where the Navarro River empties out into the Pacific Ocean. Waking up in the master bedroom to the sound of waves crashing can't be beat. Everything is designed thoughtfully and is well taken care of. I hope to be able to return to this special place.
