We had a great stay!

We have stayed here numerous times, have always been completely satisfied with our accommodations, and intend on returning really soon!

This our second stay at Shanna’s place. We just love it for quick romantic getaways. This trip we stayed in for dinner and made steaks. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meal. It was lovely. Breakfast at the Sunshine Restaurant is always delicious. We checked out the Palisades for some scenery and then did some antiquing the next day. We didn’t get to use the hot tub this time because of extreme winter temperatures but, I loved the claw foot tub for a long hot bath. The bed is super comfortable and we both slept great! Shanna is a helpful and friendly host who is always looking for ways to make your stay special. We couldn’t ask for a better host. I’m already looking forward to our next stay!

The best thing about this unit is the location - with a close up view of the beach from the living room and kitchen. That did not disappoint. Our flight was delayed five times, so we arrived late. The instructions for the heating panels could be better. It was freezing when we arrived and we could not figure out how to turn on all of the heaters. We got a quick response the next day to turn up the thermostat, but we were looking for wall thermostats. We have electric panels in our home, but I haven't seen wall switches before and we did not notice the remotes on top of the units at night. We bundled up and went to bed, and were able to figure it out the next day. That would be an easy fix to explain that some more. For us, the location was perfect because it was very close to where our new grandbaby lives! But the wonderful view of the lake made it great. It would be even better in the summer.

Myself and my daughter stayed at Carla’s place for two weeks over the Christmas break. It was easy to check in and followed the instructions given. It smelt and looked very clean on arrival. The living room was as pictured like the rest of the apartment. The laundry was separate but was easy to use Carla provided the laundry detergent and coins as the machines were coin operated. (I don’t think the laundry detergent is apart of her amenities) I am very grateful that Carla had given me more. The apartment was very comfortable and peaceful overall. Only noise I heard was from the neighbours above from time to time, but not overly noisy. The neighbours I met were very friendly and polite that lived in the building. The local neighbourhood was very quiet as Carla’s place is opposite the park. We did frequent visits to the park and everyone was friendly. It was very easy to communicate with Carla and she replied very quickly, no request was too big or too small, she provided everything.

We loved our stay! Such a cozy atmosphere with rustic touches to the decor and walls. Furniture and bed were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is amazing and walking distance to all of the dining and shops on Main Street. Not sure if there was someone staying in the other apartment, but we didn’t hear anything at all. Would love to stay here again and highly suggest!

Awesome AirBNB! I came with a few friends and we all loved the central location of the building! Super close to the Bean as well as the subway and the train! The inside was very tastefully decorated and looked just like the photos. Would definitely come back again!

We had a blessed Christmas Eve and Christmas with family. Thanks for helping to make that possible.

We had a cozy, wintry stay on the Fox River. The hot tub was awesome (with falling snow) and had peaceful views. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. The 4 bedrooms just managed to fit our family of 8. Kitchen was well done also. Thanks for a fun weekend. We should return for kayak weather!

The house was beautiful! We loved the open space, the rooms were spacious and arranged well with good fengshui. The piano was awesome, my daughter plays and it was a great time for her as well. Between the piano, hot tub, games, puppet theatre, ping pong table, and more, you will never run out of fun.

My family had such a nice stay at Waylon’s place! It was incredibly relaxing. All the beds are comfortable. He has a ton of huge tvs! All the custom wood pieces are really cool. Nice bathrooms and the sauna was amazinggggg! We used it multiple times a day. Dogs loved the private backyard area and little canal and we had a lovely bonfire 🔥 in the backyard! 15 mins away from a really beautiful nature preserve and hiking! We had great day trips to lake Geneva. Waylon was an amazing communicator and really flexible during our stay. He truly went above and beyond!!! Thank you, Waylon!! We would 100% recommend!!

MIke was an amazing host. Extremely responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. Was in town with my family for a funeral; Mike was very understanding and was willing to go the extra mile to support the changing flow of the trip. Beautiful view; I could imagine it would be amazing in the summer. All-in-all, a great stay, and exactly what we needed during this time. Would love to be there in the summer or fall!

Writing this review, with considerable jet lag, I can say the only feedback prompt I paused on was "value." This wasn't a cheap week. But seriously, it shouldn't have be. This is a large, well appointed property in a seriously beautiful lake country setting. Moreover, it's a real house for real people, not a beige/grey generic airbnb-fab unit created for the purpose of a revenue stream. Also- If you are a client with a boat/boat aspirations, don't think twice. This place is awesome.

This house was way cuter in person than in the photos. We were all charmed and the kids had a blast exploring the loft space. The weather was perfect for enjoying the backyard and the fire pit. Our gracious host also provided some treats for the kids and made her firewood available to us at no extra charge. We didn't even discover the closet full of toys and games until the second day, so it was like a bonus Christmas for the kids :)

We came into town to ski at Wilmot and this house was a perfect location. Super close to restaurants and shopping and less then 10 minutes to Wilmot skiing. House was equipped with everything you need and Jeffery was awesome with communication. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed her over New Years and had a great time. The house is very open with lots of room for everyone. Beautiful views overlooking the wetlands and lake. There was plenty of beds and could easily accommodate a large group. Hot tub was in a great location out back with a beautiful view. Would love to see how beautiful it is in the summer!

I really recommend this place my bf and I loved it even though it’s winter the view is still beautiful a great getaway from work 🫶thanks to Chad and Gi that also make thinks easier giving you a list of restaurants and activities to do I will want to go again in the summer time

Ashley's place was perfect for a Dell's getaway! It was extremely comfortable for four people, and in such a great location. Ashley was very good at communicating and made sure the check in process was smooth. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cozy location with great view of the Lake. Definitely a great place for a relaxing stay. Host provided great instructions and flexibility. She was also very responsive. This Lake condo is definitely recommended.

The home is eclectically decorated and very beautiful. Whimsical! Spacious and clean. I felt completely safe in this beautiful neighborhood. There is a lovely park on Lake Michigan right across the street. The sunrises are spectacular! The location is perfect to be outside of the downtown area, but a very easy drive in for activities. We wanted to stay longer and would definitely come back.
