Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Franklin County

The home is adorable with so much to look at and explore. We only stayed one night as we were traveling cross country so we didn’t get to explore too much. But we loved all the decorations and the outside was amazing. Would be so fun to stay in the summer! Also liked having a private dog park for our doggies. The fish pond is super cool as well! Loved looking at all the gold fish in there. Only thing that was difficult was the only bathroom upstairs is in the master bedroom with no privacy. This made it difficult for our kids to use the bathroom in the middle of the night as they had to find their way downstairs, which was a bit cumbersome for my 10 year old. All in all it was delightful.

This place is wonderful. If you're looking for a cozy, confortable, fully functional home to stay in, this is it. The wood stove in the living room is amazing! Everything you need is provided and Deb is a friendly, flexible, and accommodating host. This place has earned its spot on my "will definitely stay again" list. My only advice for future visitors is the TV. Given the more secluded location, the internet is not the best. Watching Youtube on the TV is full of delays and loading time. Aslo, you are unable to cast from your own mobile device to the TV. However, that is by no means a deal breaker at all! There is a great dvd collection and watching youtube is not impossible. If you're visiting to enjoy the area throughout the days, you may not even watch the TV! I would recommend this location to anyone. You will NOT be disappointed. I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Thank you Laura and Mitch, for being a perfect host and for a brilliant stay. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and incredibly comfortable. We had travelled from the UK and your thoughtful gestures made us feel right at home and had enjoyed every moment. We appreciated your quick response to our requests and the helpful recommendation compilation book which we found invaluable. The location was convenient, with shop like Walmart Supercenter being walkable. We enjoyed exploring the area and found great restaurants nearby like Tilted Skillet and Pulque Mexican Restaurants that offered super delicious dishes. Overall, our experience was fantastic and amazing. We highly recommend Lora and Mitch and their property to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay, we'll definitely be back!

The lodging is exactly as pictured, very clean, tidy, and well-supplied. Be aware the tile floor is rather cold in winter--bring slippers or fuzzy socks or something. But the climate control was effective. Host very proactive and responsive. I gave 4 stars for location though there's nothing the host can do about it--location is on a frontage road in an industrial area, nothing scenic about it, and close to the road though traffic isn't too bad. But not super private and surrounding houses are somewhat run down. Yard is fine to walk the dogs in but no fence. No sidewalks in area. Will stay here again due to great locale for what we visit the area for, and comfortable and well-priced. If you're competing at Purina Farms with your dogs, this is a worthwhile place to consider as I don't believe there are any closer--literally a 5-8 minute drive.

Rebecca was an excellent host and even barring the Winter weather it was a beautiful landscape and view. The home was warm and cozy and clean and had many 'extras' to make sure you were comfy even if you forgot something. She isn't joking about her hilltop home with a steep drive so definitely make sure you have 4 wheel as a fair weather vehicle will most definitely be parked at the bottom of the hill but she did offer a ride if it would have been needed ❤️ The master bed was exceptionally comfortable and there were no squeaky doors or failing plumbing/electricity (always a plus when everything works 😁) We stayed with our Neapolitan Mastiff for a dog show at the local Purina Farms and she never even flinched at allowing her to stay. We will be booking her place again for the next show we attend for sure and hopefully get a different seasons view from her super cozy deck over looking miles of open landscape 🌄

We really loved our stay here! The limestone wall was pretty neat but definitely gave off an earthy smell. It didn’t bother us but it could someone else so thought I’d mention it. I thought it gave the space character! The included food in our room was amazing. Only thing I would say is we arrived late at night and the words loft threw us a bit as usually I feel like those are above. It was actually below the spa so I think adjusting the title to just mention “Studio” instead of “Loft”. It could turn people off if they’re worried about stairs as it isn’t a true loft space. Well, anyway, enough rambling. It was really a nice, peaceful stay in the heart of wine country! We’ll definitely be back!

Leslie was fabulous. We had a tire issue and she provided us with the name of a place that was able to take care of us immediately. I would recommend Leslie's place she keeps in contact and returns calls very quickly.

While the purpose of our visit was not something that any family looks forward to, having the whole family together in one place while attending my father-in-laws funeral was great. No issues during the check in or stay. Thanks for making this trip a bit easier for all of us.

Beautiful home and perfect location to both the Riverfront and many winery’s. Very clean home. Owners were delight to communicate with.
