Cabin holiday rentals in Franklin County

Very peaceful, cozy. The amenities are very nice. the place is small and cozy, perfect for two adults and a 2 and 3 year old. Everything was spotless and worked well. We had a hard time figuring out the hear for overnight heating but during the day the propane fireplace was fantastic at keeping the home warm.

I’m not one who typically leaves a review but Olivia definitely deserves a review. It was for my son’s 18th birthday and when I tell you, everything was so flawless. She was nice enough to help me decorate one of the cabins with happy birthday balloons, and a banner! this gesture really shows me that she goes over and beyond for her customers. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

The place was perfect. Completely accommodating for large groups and beautiful surroundings. The only issue was we were about an hour away from any grocery store. Obviously we should have done more research on the location.

Brian and Lindsay were wonderful hosts! The house was perfect for my group—spacious and filled with activities to enjoy. We loved every part of it! The only minor thing we noticed was that the kitchen didn’t include tin foil or plastic wrap as part of a starter pack, though that could have been a misunderstanding on our part. Otherwise, everything was great. The hosts were very responsive when needed. Keep in mind there’s no cell service as you get closer to the cabin, but the WiFi worked perfectly, so it wasn’t an issue. I’d definitely recommend Brian and Lindsey’s home to friends and family for a great getaway!

Henry was great to work with, very responsive and helpful. The home was beautiful and clean, with plenty of space for our family weekend away that included 4 children. Our son and daughter-in-law enjoyed the hot tub one night, and we loved the large table for playing games together in the evening. As another review stated, there isn't anything to do close by, but we didn't plan to do anything but enjoy family time away anyhow... and we did.

Isaac's cabin was great, we enjoyed the peacefully atmosphere and beautiful scenery, as well as the hot tub! Would have been clean except for a lot of dead bugs over everything from prior fumigation. We alerted him of situation and he shortly got back with a solution. Then he gave us a partial refund as well, which was appreciated. Felt he handled it well since he had just cleaned the cabin a few days before we came and didn't realize what happened. Thanks Isaac, would come again!

We had a great time. The hot tub was clean and worked great. The fire pit had a lovely layout of chairs around it. We appreciated the number of bathrooms/ showers for the amount of guests we had. The hosts had clear instructions and expectations. They were also very responsive with our questions. It seems like there was a lot of thought into making it a good place to stay.

This cabin stay was beyond any and all expectations. Absolutely stunning landscape, comfortable living with all the listed amenities, and extremely helpful and wonderful hosts. It snowed twice during our stay, and both times they were there with a plow, salt, and shovels to help us get out. On the day of check-out, it was a particularly heavy snow the day before, which left the roads very difficult to drive on. Not only did the hosts come with multiple plows to clear not just the driveway but the road all the way out to the highway, but they even led the way out just to ensure we got on our way safely. Absolutely phenomenal experience, would highly recommend to anyone, and will hopefully be back at some point in the future.

The house was beautiful and extremely clean. We had a wonderful time watching the snow and wildlife through the windows while staying cozy by the fire. Beds were comfy and neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Would definitely go for a restful retreat again.

we were looking for a small cabin to escape to for a few days and this one couldn't have been more perfect. everything was hand crafted and beautifully detailed, built by the owner and his son's with so much love!! we had such a peaceful time at sassafras hollow. Our first night we spent the evening roasting marshmallows by the lake nearby. the second day I was lucky enough to participate in a workshop hosted in the owner's woodshop right on the property! I chose to turn a wood bowl and it was a very tactile experience! the cabin is stocked nicely with records and books and movies. Do keep in mind, most establishments are at least 30 minutes away, so it may be worth preparing and bringing enough food for your stay. that's what we did and it was so nice to have everything we needed on hand. the kitchenette is a bit small, but had everything we needed to prepare a lovely dinner. I cannot recommend this gorgeous cabin enough! such crisp air and stunning views!

We are enjoyed the cabin. Very cozy. Communication was working well. Definitely recommended.

Came with a group of 14 and everyone was able to comfortably fit. The host was extremely kind and made sure that we had all the information we needed to feel safe and comfortable. The place was clean and very homey. The property was absolutely beautiful. The highlight of the trip was being able to go outside at night and see all the stars. It is in the middle of nowhere so make sure you bring everything you need and maybe extras in case. But we would recommend the place as a MUST visit.
