Holiday rentals with a pool in Franschhoek

We stayed at Villa Stellendal for almost 8 weeks and felt at home: Tommy warmly welcomed us, instructed us and asked daily about our well-being. Our good fairy Miriam has also always provided fresh laundry, flowers and cleanliness in our beautiful home. The villa is cozy, everything is available, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a smart TV with Netflix and the pool provides regular refreshments and a jacuzzi for relaxation. The villa is secluded and therefore very private. The location is central but still quiet. For all wishes and questions, the reception with Anneke, Cindy and Hannah is also staffed daily and open and helpful to all wishes and questions. Even though there were small deficits or repairs, Tommy was available daily and resolved the deficiencies quickly and easily. It was very difficult for us to say good bye, but we will see all the lovely people again in Oktobee 2025.

What a lovely house, very clean and spacious. The neighborhood was very quite and safe and Jane was the best. She was very active and doesn't take long to respond infact it's like she was always online coz of her immediate response when we needed something 😀, and she has a very good heart and I'll forever be grateful for what she did for us when we needed her help, I recommended that house very day.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

We had a great stay at the place. A beautiful view on the table Mountain, perfect with the breakfast, and when it's too hot the swimming pool help to cool off. Also got some good recommendation about where to eat and swim.

We had a great time at Mia’s beautiful house. She was really kind showing us around and was always available when needed. It was awesome for our little daughter to play with all the toys of Mia’s kids. Maybe good to know: The house is not in a gated community, but we felt secure due to the nice neighborhood. We can highly recommend staying at Mia’s beautiful place.

Elzanne‘s place was perfect for our family of three visiting Cape Town for 5 nights. Our 2 year old enjoyed playing with all the toys available, plus the trampoline and swing set outside. We enjoyed the bbq grill and eating dinner outside most nights with a view of the sunset and pool. The property is very quiet and beds very comfortable. There‘s a huge fridge and freezer and everything you need to cook meals. The house is also beautifully designed so it was a very pleasant stay for us!

Easy check in with Lulu , the house keeper. The place was spacious and beautiful , small kitchen but worked so perfectly, the location is prime with Lanzerac hotel and the mountain trails close by . The house is perfect for a small family or friends wanting to get away.

We loved everything about it: Liezl’s friendly and always supportive attitude, the cosy space which is much nicer than the pictures, pool, terrace and even the old kid’s toys and books that our 3 year old loved to play with…a great space for a family or just anyone who wants to experience Stellenbosch

Place was super clean, neighbour's were super quiet and everything in the flat worked. bath was super awesome and then falling asleep listening to the ocean was amazing. Even though it is right next to the main road, only really heard traffic in rush hour. Definitely will stay again when needed.

Our stay at Jurgen und Adele Bredel's penthouse was absolutely incredible! The penthouse itself was stunning, with breathtaking views that made every moment unforgettable. Everything was exactly as promised, if not better. The attention to detail and the care put into maintaining such a beautiful space were truly appreciated. Maryna was an exceptional host —always easy to contact and so welcoming. Thank you for allowing us to experience your wonderful penthouse. We are so grateful for your hospitality and for creating such a memorable stay. We hope to return in the future!

I had a great stay at Tanya’s spacious apartment. It was ideal for my bicycle, surfboards and skateboards to have an easy low maintenance ground floor lock up and go. Several times Tanya and her partner went out of their way to assist me and make me feel comfortable after hours. Additionally the apartment is equipped with a solar battery and inverter which was very helpful during times of loadshedding. The area is nicely connected to MyCiti bus, bike and walking paths with lovely views of horse jockeys training in the mornings nearby. There is a clean pool and braai area near the apartment. The underground parking is great and close walking distance to the front door. The maintenance of the building was superb with 24/7 security, gardening service and a coin operated professional self service laundry. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Tanya!

Spencer and Ame's place is really a place to feel good. The amenities are amazing. In addition to the usual household and kitchen utensils, there is a barbecue grill and a stone oven, which can also be used for nice evenings together. The pool in combination with the view 10/10. Spencer's introduction was also great. Through him we knew where we could go and his recommendations remained accurate. Accommodation: stylish, modern and well equipped Host: super friendly and communicative P.S. even when we forgot our baby monitor display, Ame and Spencer sent us an Uber driver who took another hour so that we could use the station again. Thanks again for all your hard work. We can only recommend the place.

Lalapanzi and the Skaap House provided an unforgettable two-week retreat for our family of seven. Nestled in stunning natural beauty, the lodge offers breathtaking views that truly felt like a dream. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a joy. What truly sets Lalapanzi apart is the opportunity to walk among zebras, springboks, bonteboks, and wildebeest within the game reserve – a magical experience we cherished daily. The warm hospitality and friendly, responsive staff made us feel right at home, and the proximity to fantastic restaurants, wineries, and various outdoor activities was a bonus. We can't recommend Lalapanzi highly enough for anyone seeking an idyllic South African escape.

Firstly I would like to thank Douw for his amazing hospitality. We felt right at home and what a beautiful gem of place. The home, pool and host was just phenomenal. We took a walk almost everyday to the beach and restaurants which was only 5 min walk from the house. Our 2 and half year old was in her happy place and very kid and pet friendly. Thank you for the amazing stay and we will most definitely be coming back in the future.

Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

The location was ideal, tucked in a peaceful neighborhood yet close to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. The host was warm and attentive, providing excellent recommendations that enhanced our experience. We truly felt at home and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
