Cabin holiday rentals in Free State

What a beautiful Cabin with all the amenities that we needed for the stay. Will definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to getaway from the city life or just wants to relax.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful log cabin - it felt like paradise on earth. The fact that this property is pet friendly was perfect! Our dogs had the time of their lives and so did we. The fire place and extra blankets were a lifesaver and we were even treated to some snow on the mountain tops. We had so much fun! Very cool and peaceful setting.

We initially had a challenge with the area for the dogs as it was removed from our cottage ... HOWEVER Ilze really went the extra mile and plus to accommodate us.. we really had alovely stay..

Tranquility at its best. A great escape. Private space. Cosy, intimate and intouch with nature. Beautiful views. Very friendly host who answers to all questions with helpful instructions. Highly recommended

Very cosy and private. We felt very safe on the property. The cottages had everything we needed for our stay. Spa was very friendly and helpful. Great hiking trails in the area.

I was in desperate need to find peace and quiet away from work and a busy life, and this place provided both peace and quiet. The atmosphere was magical with nuances of gypsy life filtering through everything. The decoration and surroundings fit in perfectly with the gypsy theme. It was like stepping into a fairytale world. Shane and Sandy were absolutely awesome hosts and very attentive to my needs. I will most certainly return but this time, during Winter to make full use of the coal stove and the luxurious bath. Thank you, Shane and Sandy, for the opportunity to stay with you and for making my stay enjoyable.

Nice place

What a unique and fantastic experience! The wagon was spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful outside area and outdoor shower. The bath in the wagon is great for relaxing and has a lovely view of the treetops. Shane went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He allowed us to check in late and also helped us with the safest routes to and from Clarens on our road trip. We also woke up to a clean car which was an added bonus! His communication was great and he is so friendly. We will definitely return for a longer stay in the future!
