There were many places to enjoy commercial facilities and bagel shops nearby.The sunshine in the morning was in a pleasant location.

Reika san was very helpful to check in and setup the bbq. Area is peaceful and good for a group vacation.

Beautiful homeIt is a perfect place for large groups.

Watanabe-san was very friendly and the place was clean and ready for our stay. The outdoor bath was awesome and at just the right temperature (39C) for a longish soak. The location is a little away from most things, but besides that, it was great. 👍🏾

At the operating company, we were able to stay with peace of mind because it was well handled from the key exchange to the management.

The manager was also kind enough to teach me how to set fire, and had a very pleasant time.

They were present at the check-in time and gave us a polite explanation! It was my first time using the fireplace, but it was very warm and comfortable! The room was clean, with a lot of play equipment, and we had a comfortable stay.Thank you very much.

I really love the stylish wooden house and the camp, located in a forest under hugh mountains. the indoor decoration is delicate, and all the equipments are handy. the host are super friendly and helpful. definitely will visit again

Four girlfriends go and be soothed naturally. We had a great holiday with a delicious meal! It's beautiful enough to see the stars at night and make you want to sleep outside.⭐️ I don't usually go to the sauna, but it's very cozy, and I came in in the morning at night.☺️ I'd love to stay again in a different season😇

We visited Zao-machi for the first time to enjoy the autumn leaves.Unfortunately, I couldn't see much of the autumn leaves due to the heat of this year, but I had a very pleasant time at Masato's wonderful home.The excellent facilities and environment were all great.It was very relaxing to be able to enjoy the hot spring in the bath again.I'd love to stay here again when I visit Zao Town.Thanks for your hospitality.Thank you.

It was a lot of fun.

We were looking for a place to stay a bit off the regular cities, and found Shintaro’s guesthouse in Shiogama. It looks very authentic and Japanese, so we booked it. We didn’t know how Shiogama was, and everything was a good surprise : The house itself is nice : charming, a lot of space. It’s a bit far from European standards in terms of insulation, but we could heat up the rooms we were in quickly. Beds are super comfy. The city is nice, there are restaurants, bars, and a lot of “snack bars” we didn’t dare to try, but were so intriguing for us. We spent a week there, took time to relax and enjoy the peaceful town. The best part was Shintaro, our host, who was super available, and even spent some time with us, explaining us valuable things about Japan and Shiogama.

It was clean in the room. There was a lot of nature and we had a private time.

They were kind and accommodating, and we had a wonderful time.

The facility is also clean and managed, and I had a stylish and comfortable one-day stay!

There are few street lights around in the quiet residential neighborhood, so it is also a very dark thing after sunset, but it took me a little time to find a place to stay with the map you let us know in advance.I recommend checking in at sunrise. It was helpful that the amenities were provided with disposable toothbrushes. The facility was also beautiful and generally satisfactory.

Very good stay! The house is beautiful. We were even able to enjoy the snow for Christmas. The house is surrounded by mountains, it's beautiful. There are very few buses and none on weekends, so without a car it can be a challenge. But not impossible, we stayed there for 4 days and had a great time.
