This place is pristine! We felt like home and the pool was so refreshing at the end of the day! Comfortable beds, with fresh a/c rooms. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen very well equipped (better than my at home). Definitely, a place I would recommend to anyone and that I would come back.

Above and beyond a wonderful place! Our family of two adults and two teenagers stayed 10 days at the Galapagos Cottages. Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, the hostess, Ximena greeted us with a smile and gave us tips for enjoying our stay, suggesting the good spots to explore in the area. We were pleasantly greeted by milk, cookies, coffee and fresh fruit stocked in the kitchen. Rosita, the housekeeper made sure our house was cleaned each day & even did our laundry!! We received first class, 5 star treatment. The location is the best in the area for walking to anything you want. The sign leading to Tortuga is outside the wall of the casa, that's how close! If you are looking to stay in Santa Cruz, you will not regret booking this place to stay. Oh and did I mention, very affordable for everything you get? A private pool, lavish outdoor space, terraces with hammocks for watching the sun rise. The best place we have stayed in the world by far. Thank you GC!!

Ximena and Charles were really great hosts. It was our first time visiting the Galapagos and they really made us feel welcomed. They organized everything we needed from the moment we arrived at the airport, helped us book tours, find restaurants, etc. The cottages are well stocked with breakfast, drinks and fresh fruit. It was really an excellent stay. We would happily stay here again.

We loved our stay at Shangri-la. It is in an area that can only be accessed by catching a water taxi from the waterfront at Puerto Ayores. This is much easier than it sounds. Water taxis run all the time and we never waited more than five minutes . The trip then takes five minutes and it’s very pleasant. It is then only a few minutes walk to the lovely home of Shangri-la. Juan met us in Puerto Ayores and helped us with our luggage and the water taxi on arrival and departure. The house is great. It has three bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living area and an awesome top level balcony with hammock and spa bath. It is very clean. The pool is great to have. The kitchen is well equipped. We liked being able to do some self-catering. It is a short walk to 3 restaurants and a beach. Communication was excellent. Juan stayed at a separate (but on site) residence. This was unexpected-we anticipated the place entirely to ourselves-but was not a problem, and he was very helpful. Highly recommended.

wonderful accommodation house for 8, 4 couples travelling together in Galapagos. central location, easy walking to venues. We enjoyed the bonus breakfasts each morning. Will highly recommend. Thank you

Amazing ambiance and excellent service. Only complaint is partially my fault, but some direction on airport logistics prior to arrival would have made trip more enjoyable, I was unable to make it to destination upon arrival because ferries were closed, and come to realize this massive inconvenience could have been avoided by knowledgeable communication, most visitors are not locals!! it's not OK to assume visitors know these logistics. Staff was amazing and particularly Lorana was absolutely amazing and made our trip 5 star she cooked delicious meals at really reasonable prices. Thank You Lorana!!!

My son and I stay here every time we visit. We love the space, easy walk to town, and away from the business of the island.

Susana was very clear in the instructions on how to get there, the Airbnb was very well located, safe to walk around at all times. The facilities had everything we needed, even for others, there were also games that we liked a lot. Susana and her family welcomed us very kindly. We hope to return soon.

Very large locale, with everything needed for small and long stays. All very new and well thought out. Comfortable. Friendly host and care for every detail. Very recommended.

Fantastic stay at Sun & Wind. Beautiful grounds and spacious unit with everything we needed. HUGE master bath and kitchen! Would definitely stay again.

Excellent host, friendly, helpful, always communicative, he suggested tourist places and activities, he always guided us within the island. The apartment met the listing specifications, cozy space, good lighting, ventilated, spacious bathroom, very nice finishes and everything in good condition.

Highly recommended with a great host 😃 Lugar tranquil, apartment cozy, nice, very well shared in its areas. Don Ernesto always willing to give his help, you have the option to take taxi for 1.50 or for those who like to walk can do it safely. I hope to have the opportunity to travel again!!

Asdru is a very responsive and accommodating host, and the person present on site is easily available in case of need. The accommodation is clean, large (for a family of 4) and functional. The neighborhood has little interest but calm. It has a mini market quite close by. In the areas for improvement, a drinking water dispenser is missing and there is no air conditioning in the master bedroom. The fan is appreciated although noisy.

Great location close to pier, very walkable. Easy check-in. Cold A/C! We didn’t use the common areas but they looked very welcoming and accommodating.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 6 days and used this great little home as a base to explore the island by foot and by taxi. It was perfect. The lovely host ensured we had water and tended to anything needed. A great little place to stay, with a perfect balance of being a decent walk to town each day (incidental exercise, we love it!) and not being too far away from anything. Of course, you can also hail a cab for a couple of bucks if you don't feel like walking. The house had everything we needed. Great the hot water worked (we have accepted it either way due to being such a goo size and such good value - but it was great). It was big enough to use as a comfortable base to explore the island, and even has an outdoor patio area to watch the world go by and let the kids play. Perfect for couples or families wanting some space on a modest budget. Stop here, enjoy, and wander to the restaurants when you feel it to enjoy some humble, spacious, quality island time. Beautiful home perfect for a group or family. No complaints at all

This home was a dream, plenty of space for our family. We appreciate Sra. Olga's help with check in and making us feel right at home. The amazing outdoor spaces gave us opportunities to see the abundant wildlife the island has to offer right from the patio area. The rooftop is amazing and perfect to enjoy a cold drink. The location of this home is also perfect, a quick walk to the ferry and water taxi arrival/departure area. We will definitely stay in our next visit to Santa Cruz.
