Every thing was nice but they are in hurry to push you out. At 11am. The care taker started calling at 11am. Constantly. To vacate the room which was little upsetting. Also the place is beautiful location but. The approach of the caretaker was not great Very dry and no smile on face .

I had an incredible stay at this mountaintop Airbnb! The location is absolutely breathtaking perched high above the valley with panoramic views that are nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the sunrise casting golden light over the mountains and watching the sunset paint the sky in vibrant colors every evening was a truly magical experience. The home itself was cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommend!

This was my first time in bhimtal and I’m very pleased & thankful that I happen to choose this property! It was like a home away from home ! I have never experienced such warmth from a host..( Neha) 🥰 When I first spoke to Neha , it left like I’m talking to a friend she made sure that our stay was completely up to the mark just the way we wanted … I was in Magpie Retreat for 3 night with my family , all the staff was so good ! Hospitality was just 100% Not to miss the view … There was definitely a magic , we could experience, magic happing around in the weather! Exceptionally beautiful 😍 Food was just the way we wanted … The chef was awesome tooo :) Everyone room had a personal touch with the interior , it was like every room is a resort in its own self ! A must visit ! Thanks

Sonam is a great host. And the lady who stays in the same area as the room was amazing and I think she is the biggest reason all the past users recommended this place. I felt she is like my mother. This place is clean and quiet - nice for isolate yourself from the busy life. Only thing I highly recommend to the host is adding extra heater during the winter time. Excepting this everyting was perfect and I will visit here again especially to meet the lady.

Lovely stay if you want to lose connect with the outside world.

We had a lovely stay. We were there with our two year old. The food was fantastic - fresh and tasty. The place was beautiful. Our cottage had two mango trees in front of it which made it very private and we were surrounded by little birds and birdsong. Umed was a great guide for our nature walks. The footage from the camera traps was really informative. The rooms were large and there was a nice verandah. Overall the stay was memorable!

Very peaceful place. Scenic. Exact as photographed. Helpful & friendly staff. Very Good food. While reaching to location one might get skeptical due to very bad or no road but once you reach every effort is worth. Only suggestion for host is to use bigger display board. Also to add directional board along the route and near pangot market (Y intersection).

Lovely location at the top of a steep mountain incline. Street is lined with homes and businesses. There are no buildings above the hotel so it’s secluded and close to nature. Difficult to find; call ahead for guidance and help with luggage. View is worth it. Bring good walking shoes for stairs and uneven surfaces. Owner and staff are the friendliest, happiest people and have created a welcoming, intimate community. There are plenty of amenities; yoga studio, pottery studio, massage room, open kitchen and patio seating. The food is delicious! Classes and activities are plentiful and privided ala carte. Everything was built this year. There are only a few guest rooms with more being added. Construction is small-scale and by hand so not too noisy or intrusive. Guest rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. Includes a kettle and portable heater. BYO toiletries. Highly recommended for a low-key getaway. Perfect for couples and solo male or female travelers like me. Loved it. Go!

Thanks for the stay, if heater is provided without charge or at affordable rate,would be great.Also if geyser in cottage would be available, our stay would have been better.

This is one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The photos don’t do justice to the entire property. I was pleasantly surprised since it exceeded all my expectations - the beautiful cottage, the prompt and hospitable service, the scenic views, and the warm staff. You have to park your car at a makeshift parking by the highway where a caretaker is present to look after your car. A lot of other camps have their guests park here too. It’s safe, from my personal experience. The 45-min hike from the parking to the camp can be tiring in the heat of the sun but it is worth it. They have three dogs - Pixie, Jimmy, and Bolt - to keep you company. You can visit the nearby waterfall and beach. They are happy to arrange rafting as well via their contacts. Since it’s a remote property, you’ll want to carry your packaged snacks and drinks. The menu here is extensive and you can get service until 9:30-10 in the night. You will be treated to more food than you can possibly consume. See you again!

the place is very cozy , everything was exactly the same as described. The helper over there was also very well behaved and helpful
