This is truly one of the most stunning places I have ever stayed when it comes to nature on your doorstep. We loved it and hope to return as soon as possible

The name of the house completely exemplifies its Japanese name. A state of perfection, grace & comfortable elegance . A total joy to be a guest with its ergonomic layout in the extremely well equipped kitchen. The clean litter free beach, clearly well maintained & safe with a Lifeguard Post right on hand. We were made to feel so special with a personalized welcome board at the entrance to the island, a water bowl waiting for our dog after a hot car drive, and a really helpful info pack that kept us busy with things to do & see. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could ever need, and Maria & Martin are so lovely. The island is such a special place and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!!

We had an absolute wonderful stay. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds to comfortable. The bedrooms and shared spaces are so spacious. We had everything we needed regarding crockery, cutlery, towels, linen, etc. The Airbnb was extremely clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will definitely save this for a next time!

The location is excellent. It is a 2 minute walk to the shops as well as to the Poortjies Beach. Early morning walk and swim with dogs a must do! House easily accommodated 8 of us and 2 dogs with lots of enclosed space to leave dogs at home while out and about. House is well equipped with everything including 2 fridges. (Only had to bring Nespresso.) Inverter installed but did not need. Comfortable beds and bedding. Fans in every room. Lovely pool and braai area. Lots of separate spaces in house for quiet time. Our host Elizabeth was excellent. Very friendly, well organized and extremely accommodating to any request. The house offers cleaning option if you require. We used once and changed bedding. We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

The pictures dont do the house justice, because you just cant feel the homely atmosphere you get when you walk in and stay there. We had the most amazing time at the house, and everything we needed was available from food, to entertainment, to a camp cot! An absolute gem and we will be back next year

Overall a super place to stay in a beautiful home. Linda was a superb host who took the time to communicate everything and in a timely manner too! The house is in a stunning location with great amenities and plenty of spaces to sit and relax and admire the views. The weather during our stay was a little unpredictable but the house came into its own as it’s so large everyone can spread out and escape each other if they need too! Thank you Linda!

We loved our stay at the poolhouse! Check in was easy and Tom and his colleagues were always fast to respond if we had questions. There are some restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the house is perfectly located near the water. We traveled with two small children and would without hesitation stay at the poolhouse again:)

Excellent all round despite some inclement weather. Views and set out of overall place was excellent !!! The driveway was possibly the only thing I would improve. All round it was a wonderful experience in the wilderness from your Aussie guests. Roger and family

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Barbara’s charming studio! Nestled under the trees, the space offered breathtaking views and a peaceful, natural setting. One of the highlights of our visit was the daily extravaganza of sunbirds visiting the birdfeeders—truly a magical sight. The studio was cozy, well-appointed, and the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Barbara was a gracious host, ensuring everything we needed was taken care of. We highly recommend this serene escape and can’t wait to return!

The studio cottage was very modern, the bed was of high quality. Everything we needed was in the cottage. We had a great time. Tanya suprised us with beautiful Valentine cupcakes. "Above expectations" Thank you Tanya!!

Stephanie was an amazing host, always responsive, helpful and friendly. My kids and I stayed for a month and had a wonderful time. We took a walk to the beach almost everyday. Can definitely recommend.

This is the most amazing place we have ever stayed at! Beautifully crafted wooden cabin at the edge of Knysna Forest with absolutely everything one needs for a truly memorable stay. You feel completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle yet it’s so close to everything! Waking up to endless mountain and forest views, abundant wildlife and spectacular sunset is priceless. The cabin is well equipped with all the amenities one needs for a fantastic time, it’s clean, it’s spacious, it’s comfortable, And-it’s pet friendly! Can’t wait to visit again 💙

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

It was a lovely stay at Aneryne's cottage. We loved the view from the terrace, the vibrant wildlife around us and really enjoyed all the amenities this little gem had to offer. Aneryne and her little darlings were wonderful hosts - super friendly, fun and very helpful with tips about the area. We will definitely come back if we are in the Knysna area again and would highly recommend a stay.

Alicia( the host) is friendly and easy to communicate with. The bedroom, living room and bathroom is clean and neat. The area is a walkable distance from coffee shops and other restaurants. I will again stay with you when I am in Mossel Bay

I had a wonderful stay at the accommodation of Andy and Tish and can recommend it to everyone from the heart. The beautiful location with outdoor shower surrounded by forrest makes it a special stay.

We LOVED our time at Peter’s. Perfectly close to the lagoon; perfectly huge garden for our two labradors; perfectly comfortable home for two families with toddlers. We plan to make it an annual trip. Fell in love with NV and Peter’s house.
