The Latvians have a saying - don't look the husband out of a hat. It's the story of John's house that looks simple from the outside and getting inside into a fairy tale. A great place to relax, sleep and spend time with family or friends.

Nice house for a countryside trip, authentic and great personality. A lot to do, on the property there's basketball, trampoline. Indoors people loved playing pool, hot tub was a very cool experience as well, totally recommend it

Great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything is clean and well thought out. Very responsive and welcoming hosts. We also used the sauna which was perfectly prepared. Loved that children have also been thought of, where you can go out, walk, play on the children's playground in a safe environment, and even see the sheep. We'll definitely be back!

from April 2 to April 4, we had a rest in Tsarnikava, I want to thank the hosts for the warm welcome, everything was prepared for a great holiday with kebabs, a bath, a beautiful well-maintained courtyard, lovingly prepared rooms, even in the details: - fresh carnations in the rooms, beautiful dishes - everything "pleased the eye". I would really like to visit this guest house👍👍

It was a great pleasure for my family and me to spend our Christmas holidays at Villa Gunda! The house is perfect for a large family or group, with 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom, plus one on the ground floor) and plenty of space to cook, dine, and relax. The location is ideal, too – we didn't have a car, but it's only a 25-minute train ride to the center of Riga. We loved being in a peaceful spot near the sea while still having easy access to the city. A special thanks to Ligita, who was an exceptional host. She was always quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our bus from Riga was late in the evening, and she kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, ensuring we could check out just before our departure. That gesture was much appreciated! In summary, I highly recommend Villa Gunda to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

We stayed with our two children (1 and 5). Very suitable for families with children. Big +, from the backyard playground with comfortable seating for adults. The apartment had everything needed for a family with children. The owner Karlis was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Location is great. Walking distance to tram lines 1 & 11 which will take you to the city central & Old Town and Mezaparks. Also a large play ground walking distance from the apartment. Andrejs was a really nice host. Gave us tons of local tips for restaurants & activities. He even picked us up from the airport when we arrived. Apartment was also really nice, had everything a family of five might hope for. Really good experience.

Amazing host, everything was really clean and comfortable, had everything I needed for cooking, the flat was really warm, beautiful view from the window, there’s shops, restaurants and bars which are nearby, I really do recommend the place, thank you to the host, I will be booking this place again.

We had an excellent stay at Maija’s place. It’s in a perfect location to explore the old town and the art nouveau district, while still feeling tucked away from the chaos. We visited in winter and the flat was lovely and warm to come back to after a day of exploring.

Gorgeous apartment, beautifully laid out and perfect for our Parnu visit... spotless on arrival and loved the decor. Easy to access shops and beaches - and scooters! Thanks for the stay ❤️

The place was very nice and clean, good location for exploring the city by foot. The elevator was very nice. Also the view from our windows was pretty :) You could hear a bit of the ambient city noise but it didn’t bother us personally. Overall a great experience and a nice place to stay over the weekend.

The house/apartment and the backyard are top-notch! Kids also liked it. The only thing that could be better for maximum people counts is the kitchen/dinner area size. The apartment is ideal for 4 people in that regard. Otherwise enough room for all, especially by the garden table on the outside terrace. I would also love the proper fencing for the property/parking. Those with motorcycles could be a little worried. All other things are good with no problems.

The place was amazing. Even more beautiful than the pictures, love the style and the look of it. Also very clean and no mess. You can walk to all the attractions and restaurants from the apartment. So it is in the middle of the center of Riga, but also vert quiet så you have a good sleep. Would 10/10 recommend. Would love to come back one day.

Very welcoming and responsive host, Clean and well-equipped accommodation. Well placed close to all amenities, Thanks again for a great stay! Small downside if you don't have two very functional legs, the accommodation is on the 5th floor without an elevator(not enough to remove a star though)

We really enjoyed our stay at Sirje's place. It was with a great location, modern and clean. All amenities that you would need and suitable for a family. Will definitely recommend!
