Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Geelong

Our stay was wonderful despite the rainy weekend. We had a lovely time celebrating my husband’s 70 th at the house which was exactly as described. We were most impressed with the newly renovated spacious kitchen , large dining table and pristine house. The location was a great 5 minute walk to the shops and 15 minute walk to the beach. While there are two showers- one in the main bathroom and laundry-there is one only toilet. Zac was a wonderful host who quickly responded to any questions and was most communicative and helpful. Thank you Zac for making our stay so memorable.

This property offers privacy, comfort and facilities to walk straight in and enjoy the space. The furnishings are comfortable and clean - the outdoor spaces allow for relaxation by the pool, or watching the abundant bird life in the large back garden. The fence is very secure so those travelling with dogs it is easy to let them wander without worry of getting out. The pool was warm and a wonderful way to cool off after a day out exploring the surrounding areas. The bed we slept in was very comfortable and for those who rise with the sun - the natural light in the property brings you beautifully into the day. After a massive year of heartache, pressure and long distance travel - this was a wonderful way to de-stress, reboot and spring back to the joy of the holiday season. Definitely worth another visit while the weather is hot and the pool warm.

This place actually looks even better than the photos! Spotlessly clean and exactly as described. All amenities at your disposal, fabulous kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Super dog friendly and a lovely touch having dog treats on arrival. The hosts are incredibly easy to deal with and very responsive. Will absolutely stay here again and can highly recommend to others.

Great stay! Very relaxing and calming atmosphere at the home. Easy drive to the main strip (a bit far to walk with kids). Lovely dog beach at the end of the road. Home is very comfortable with a lovely vibe. The front garden gets great sun all day. We were very happy and left rejuvenated!

We had such a beautiful week away and the house felt like it was home. Beautiful and clean very cosy. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Really made this into a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Loved the bbq and seating outdoors. Beautiful interior.. everything we would have needed was provided for and everything that is listed was exactly as it was. Great walk to the beach or short drive. Beach is beautiful and there are places to go and see all in very short driving distance. Excellent for our dog who felt like she was right at home. She had a great time at the beach. The water being so calming she loved it! Tahlia what a host! She was amazing to be honest. Communication with her was excellent. She was very very helpful at all times and very thoughtful knowing the importance of creating a space for a family to enjoy a holiday without the stress. Tahlia thank you once again, you certainly are a super host and we loved staying at your place. We will be back.

Lovely home and ideal for a large family. The kitchen and living area are very spacious. It was great having a separate fully contained unit under the main house. It is in a very quiet area and is an easy drive to the beach and restaurants. I would recommend 'Seajourn' to anyone looking to stay in Rye.

Rowena's home was the best Airbnb we have stayed in. It had everything we needed and some. the kitchen was amazing. we love to cook. Not only utensils and appliances, Rowena also has a pantry with the basics for you. she is the hostess with the mostest!!!! if ever on the peninsula we will stay again. Best ever.

The Hidden Gem was the perfect place we could have stayed at during our short getaway. Leonie ensured our stay was satisfactory and was proactive with responses and general details. The house was equipped with numerous activities to keep our young kids occupied and entertained, giving us time to enjoy some R&R. Definitely worth it and would be happy to visit The Hidden Gem in the future.

Beautiful location. Lovely and quiet but still close to shops etc. Beautiful view from the balcony over the river Close to the river for a nice stroll. The apartment was well stocked with everything we might need. Highly recommend and hopefully we will be back

The headmaster’s quarters is well equipped with everything you could wish for. Racheal was friendly and very responsive. I would definitely stay there again.

Great studio apartment in a wonderful location right behind Armadale’s High St. Light & bright large with super comfortable queen bed & full size kitchen & dining table & lovely little balcony to catch the morning sun. Tram’s a 1 minute walk & train station a stroll down the high street. Very quiet location especially considering its proximity to the shopping & eating precinct. Others have mentioned the metal circular access staircase. As long as you have considered that when booking, it presented no problems & meant additional privacy & a lovely outlook over the surrounding suburb. I’m a frequent visitor to Melbourne & will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Jo's place for the weekend and it did not disappoint, being with in short tram ride/ walk to some of Melbourne's best cafes and restaurants allowed me and my partner to experience everything Melbourne has to offer. Thanks Jo!!

Jeff & Melinda’s place was awesome. They were so generous with the extras they included in the bedrooms and kitchen. Perfect spot for staying for the Kylie Tension tour and a visit to the Botanic Gardens. Loved it 🥰

Darren and Yolanda’s place was absolutely stunning and artsy. My family could not get over looking at the gorgeous view just opposite of the unit. I would highly recommend!

Michelle’s apartment was in a great location close to a really pretty park area, lots of restaurants / cafes etc and walking distance to the CBD and beyond. We had a very comfortable stay and had everything we needed. Communication from Michelle was really helpful and clear. Would recommend.

Terry was an excellent host and this is such a great place down the coast for some time with family. Our little ones loved swimming and seeing the animals. Beds were comfy and the cottage was large. We will be back! Thanks again Terry!

A perfect base for exploring the peninsula, the accommodation was luxurious, private and functional. It is situated in a delightful and quiet residential area, a very short walk down to the beach. Hosts instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

Biarritz is a beautiful, stylish villa in a peaceful garden setting and Sylvie is an excellent host, always so friendly, responsive and helpful. We were three generations staying for eleven nights after Xmas and the five bedrooms, spacious, bright, open plan living, kitchen, dining areas suited us perfectly. The new spa and sauna were a well used added bonus. Sylvie has ensured every room is so well equipped, with all we needed plus many extras and thoughtful touches that we have not seen in other houses, and all is of a high quality.
