Cottage holiday rentals in Gembrook

My partner and I spend a weekend at Pia‘s lovely cottage and we loved every second of it. Check-in was easy and flexible with a personalised check-in code and the communication with Pia was excellent. She gave us a lot of tips for restaurants and activities ahead of time and responded to messages immediately. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, you can certainly see the love and consideration Pia puts into every little detail. We got fresh breakfast supplies according to our preferences and enjoyed the amazing view on our little balcony while watching the birds. We loved the bathroom which had a big spa bathtub with bath salts and organic toiletries. During the day the nearby road would get a little busy occasionally (it was a warm summer weekend after all), but being inside the cottage you wouldn’t hear a sound so it didn’t bother us at all. It was a wonderful experience to stay in Pia‘s cottage and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature

Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. There were so many amazing sites and scenic hikes nearby, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lauretta was super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question or needed something. This was the perfect accommodation for a peaceful, relaxing holiday for our family of 5 plus dog! The home is absolutely outstanding, beautifully appointed with a fantastic outdoor area and yard. Some beautiful treats were left for us from Tricia when we arrived and she couldn’t have been more helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations. Everything you could need is available including luxurious linen, comfy beds, heaps of towels, games, DVDs and the most beautiful views from each window. We will definitely be back!

Amazing location, easy walk to the beach, close to both Cowes and the Penguin Parade. Exactly as described and host was very responsive.

We had a great time at this place on our little family getaway. The property was exactly as described and bigger than the photos depicted. We played with the board games and enjoyed movies, and were pleasantly surprised with a free bottle of wine. The place was walking distance to the beach and only a short drive from Cowes, and an even shorter drive from the Penguin Parade. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. We LOVED our stay at Kay’s summer house. We got wonderful holiday vibes from the moment we stepped inside the cute cottage - and our pups loved the large fenced in backyard. The house was super clean and easily the most well appointed and equipped Airbnb so far!

We really enjoyed our stay in Yarra Valley. Shaun, our host, gave so many welcome recommendations and tips which made our stay even more memorable - vineyards, restaurants, good coffee, walks and country drives. Shaun's Airbnb is perfect - lovely comfortable house - had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting inside and out on the números decks - to relax and read, even did some watercolour painting. Everything we needed, comfortable bed and the couch was not low and hard to get out of. Delightful location on the balcony with Bellbirds and Fantails. Plenty of secure exploring area for our dog.

The cottage was very relaxing, private and romantic. We loved the spa bath and the space as a whole. Was walking distance to the shops and restaurants which we enjoyed. Will definitely be back to check out their other cottages as well.

Exceptional cottage. We loved our weekend! The cottage is better than the photos. The garden (front and back) is stunning and lots of wildlife and very secure for dogs. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. Great location - walking distance to Healesville shops and a short drive to so many wineries. Paul and Judith were great hosts and their property is GREAT value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Airbnb right in the heart of Healesville. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to cafes, restaurants, and the local shops. Being so close to the main street made everything super convenient, yet the place was still quiet and peaceful at night. The home itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully styled, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Great base for exploring the Yarra Valley too. Highly recommend!

Naomi was a wonderful host! The Forest cottage was in a serene location and was a great place to unwind for the weekend. It was a short drive to some beautiful towns in the Dandenong and the sound of the kookaburras and the bubbling creek was a lovely soundscape to kick off our relaxing stay!

Great place to stay! Very close to the hotsprings which is what our holiday needed. Lovely place with great amenities and very close to the beach! The neighbourhood was also really beautiful and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return soon.

I stayed for 5 days with my two kids aged 5 and 4. Can’t recommend this place strongly enough. Between the surrounding beauty of the area and the tranquility of the house, we had an amazing week. Kids loved all the play equipment outside and there was loads of space for them to ride their bikes also. Would love to come back in winter to light the fire and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere again.
