If you’re looking for boujee, this is not for you. If you’re looking for a nice cabin to relax in, a very beautiful outdoor camp-like atmosphere, with a lake right outside the door - BINGO! This is it!! If you forgot something, just drive down the road to a store, walmart, and even a bait shop. If you want to go out to eat, there are restaurants near by for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Overall, this was a great experience with a super nice Host! We will definitely be back!

We were so grateful to have found the Peacock House; it is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! The home itself is extremely spacious as it comfortably accommodated 4 families and a gaggle of kids on a trip to see the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Elizabeth was an amazing host and was quick to answer any questions we had. If there’s something you need, it is very likely that she has it… extra pack’n play and baby gates were clutch! You’re less than a 25 minute drive to the Ark from this home and roughly an hour to the Creation Museum (be aware that the first 20 minutes of both is very winding roads). But the little extra drive time is well worth the amazing accommodations you will find here! The farm land is beautiful and we felt safe enough for the kids to run around outside and play in the snow a bit. Be sure to look up at the stars at night as they are stunning with the lack of light pollution! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Loved our time here! The house was as advertised, spacious, lots of amenities for kiddos and adults. Comfortable beds. Clean. Very quiet and the bedrooms were DARK in the morning with all the trees. Lovely cabin in the woods.

The space was perfect for my friends, myself and my dog. The home was very cozy in the living/dining area and the kitchen was great for cooking! I loved that the dining table was large enough for us all to eat together :) We all raved about both showers being excellently clean and enjoyable, the shower supplies also seemed to be high quality! The bedrooms were spacious and clean, everyone had plenty of room for their things. The beds were very comfortable all around. The dog bed in the living room was awesome as I have an elderly dog she’s normally on the floor so her having her own spot was great! The area was excellent and conveniently located to a lot of great restaurants! Street parking was easy we were parked right in front of the house the entire weekend. I would stay here again!

The house was amazing. We had a get together with our children and grandchildren and the place was perfect for us. There was even a crib in one bedroom for the baby. Sharon was super responsive and helpful. She recommended a nearby pizza place called Jacks for pizza pickup. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a clear night and we were able to stargaze. The grandkids loved the kitty named Whiskey. He was super friendly. The house was super spacious with PLENTY of room to spread out. We all agreed we hope we can go back next year but stay for 2 nights instead of 1.

Laura went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and ensure that all our needs were met. We'll be staying there again when our family needs to be in the area.

This was my first vacation with my son's family, including 4 small children. They absolutely enjoyed seeing the deer every morning and afternoon. There were games provided and enough space for all of us to enjoy being in the home. A little rainy so we did not get to enjoy the fire pit; nonetheless, a great time and it was so clean. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your sweet home.

Rodney was a great host, asked us prior to our arrival about any specific needs and followed through with special spices and an extra crockpot that came in handy with our big group meals! The house was beautifully remodeled with elegant touches throughout each of the different floors! The huge yard was perfect for our pooch to explore and we all loved the recreational room filled with many things to do during our weekend stay! Rodney was readily available to assist with the questions we had randomly and was such a friendly and understanding host. We would love to stay again!
