Wonderful stay for our family vacation. Beautiful home and property!

This review is from the perspective of a family with young children... We loved the open living area and that the outdoor fireplace is just off the living room. The deck space is large and provided a great space for my 4yo to play outside. The kitchen is large and you still feel like part of the group when cooking because of the openness. My son loved the hot tub, but my husband and I didn't enjoy that it is older and stained in places. Lots of firewood was provided and the weather was perfect to enjoy a few fires. There were only a few things I didn't like about the cabin, first is that the bedrooms are each located on different floors. Not a very big deal, but with young kids, I didn't like having them on a separate floors. The second thing I didn't like was the amount of laminated information sheets that were practically laying on every surface. It's just too much. I don't want to spend 20 min reading everything when I get to a cabin, I just want to relax and I don't want to keep up with each sheet that has to be placed somewhere out of the way so you can actually use that tabletop/countertop space. A lot of the info had been emailed to me in multiple emails plus there was a master binder with copies of everything. Overall we had a great time and would stay at this cabin again.

Unfortunately due to a storm the power was out. They did their best to find us an alternative cabin and were very helpful.

The space was amazingly beautiful our host were very quick to respond to anything we had any issue with any questions that we had I completely enjoyed myself my family completely enjoyed themselves we intend on returning every year

We felt one with nature. The cabin was very cozy. The views were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this cabin👍🏽

Absolutely loved this cabin! Check in and check out was seamless. Everything about this cabin was as described. I would stay here again and again! 100% recommend.

Definitely everything as described when I say I had an amazing time and it was very peaceful !! word of advice is do not kayak if you don't know what u doing lol 😆 😂 let's jus say I fell in the river but saved the kayaks lol 😆 😅 didn't get very far but it was excited because I never done it before lol 😆 I did try and fish as well !! just know you get your money worth and the whole place is very beautiful in general and makes you feel at home !!!! the host was very amazing and responsive and I had no problems with my stay ! me and my family plan on booking a family trip for the summer because I shared how amazing the space was even if you have kids they have an area for them as well !!! thank you for the amazing stay it was perfect for my birthday

Great cabin right on the river. Everything was so peaceful. The kitchen has brand new appliances. There was ample space for 2 families. The staircase is a little scary for the kids and the lack of insulation inside made for noise to be spread easily, but not enough to bother us. We really enjoyed our stay.

Sandra was very responsive and easy to work with. The cabin was private and way up high on the mountain for great views. It was such a peaceful place and a great place to relax.

Being pet-friendly was a huge plus for us, and our furry friend absolutely adored exploring the surrounding woods. he location was simply breathtaking. Nestled deep within the woods, the cabin offered a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The serene atmosphere, the crisp fresh air, and the star-studded nights were incredibly rejuvenating. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a place to bond with loved ones (including your pets!), look no further!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Off the Grid! Greg’s cabin is definitely a slice of heaven and we are so grateful he chooses to share it with others. We hiked the property and surrounding areas. It’s super private, we had no problems locating cabin with Greg’s instructions! There were some pretty severe storms our first night and Greg checked in with us and was responsive to any needs. Cabin was super clean…this was the perfect space for our boys (8 and 11 year olds), our two dogs and my husband and I! We hope to stay here again in the very near future! Here’s to more adventures ahead at an amazing cabin!

No way. This was an absolute delight to stay at! It completely superseded our expectations, and the host was so kind and courteous! A hidden gym for sure! The prices were outstanding and I cannot wait to return!!!!

The coziest cabin! The sound of the river right outside the windows is absolutely magical. We even saw a herd of deer. Host was kind and understanding when we had some car trouble. The bed was very comfy. We hope to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Sally was very responsive when we requested to book last minute after our campsite fell through. She saved our weekend! The cabin was as described and had an absolutely incredible view from the back deck. We have stayed at many Airbnbs all around the world and the view here was one of the prettiest and most relaxing that we have had. We would definitely return.

Lovely home and surroundings. Plenty of room for two couples and private areas to get away from each other. Rained a lot, and we were able to sit and enjoy under two porches if wind changed. Rested & relaxed from roar of water below. Deer everywhere and spring was springing! Would go again.

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

This cabin is fantastic and Joeseph and Lorena were great at communicating. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend at this cabin and they were accommodating to make everything perfect. There were so many thoughtful gestures like a personalized sign and have other cool things like deer feed and bird feed. The pictures of this cabin don’t do it justice! Views are amazing, clean, and all of the games you could ever want to play. The only thing I would note before you book is make sure you put the correct amount of people staying. Even though the cabin sleeps 8, I only reserved with 2 because I didn’t know how many were staying. There is a fee for anyone over your reserved amount. I ended up having 3 others stay for a total of 5 and still had to pay extra for them. Something to note. Everything was amazing and would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Beautiful cabin, clean and very tasteful. All the furniture and kitchen appliances are of very good quality. The service was excellent, we felt taken care of as they always responded promptly to our questions. The vegetation is beautiful and you really find peace in that place.

The cabin was lovely and in great condition. There were issues of communication steming from what Airb&b shares with the host. If this could get worked out, I would have no complaints. We did have an issue of septic flooding on our final night which the host was highly apologetic about and quick to address even though it was late at night and below freezing. The host was friendly, the resort was nice, and the trails would have been so fun if we had not been too cold to walk to explore them. Had it been warmer, there was beautiful scenery and much to explore. Fair warning, apple maps works great on the resort property but Google maps will take you in crazy directions.

Instructions were clear. Owner responded quickly and helpful with any issue I had. Very friendly. Also it’s a very private and makes you feel at home. The entire cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed!!

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. After local weather ruined our Spring Break plans, we made a last minute pivot to this cabin and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The majority of our time was spent next to the river or on the porch soaking in the view. The layout was great for our two families giving everyone plenty of room. The cabin was well furnished and had everything needed to cook several meals. Overall I would absolutely recommend.
