Holiday rentals with lake access in Gironde estuary

The house exceeded what was stated in the advert and Charlene and Jann were brilliant hosts. They were super responsive and always willing to help - they gave us phone numbers and responded within minutes if we had a question. The house felt like a real luxurious stay and the location was perfect for both Lacanau Lake and also Lacanau Ocean. There were great beach spots within 5 minutes drive as well as supermarkets and Lacanau Ocean town really close. The lake was a 2 minute walk too. The house was brilliant for a family with kids and we used the pool and outside seating areas all the time. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful area. The presence of bikes is a plus. Sabrina and Julien are very pleasant hosts, very responsive. Recommended!

Very effective unpretentious but the spaces are well organized , the children loved it. The location is perfect for quick access to lakes and bike paths . We'll be happy to go back

Very well placed and quiet. Very functional accommodation very very clean and very beautiful. Nothing is missing, that's perfect. There are even great games and books. Recommended!!! We had a wonderful stay.

We were there at the end of September, unfortunately we could not use the beautiful terrace due to the weather. For hikes and cyclists, the area is great, as there are many cycling and walking routes. If you want to look at the wider area, you have to drive a lot. Example Cap Ferret 1h 10 min. Bordeaux 40 km, duration approx. 1 h. 15 min.

We had a great time at Régine's house which is very well equipped and located in a very quiet environment 2 steps from the lake. Relax and rest assured. Thanks to Régine for her smile and kindness.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very nice in a quiet and relaxing environment. It is very well equipped and functional. Muchic beach is easily reachable by a small path along the lake. That was perfect!

Top apartment. Well equipped. Very clean. Quiet. very bright. Secured residence. A reserved parking space. I spent 3 weeks there. Loved it. It felt like a home away from home. I thank Sylvie so much for her warm and very symapthistic welcome and responsiveness when necessary.

Yannick provided us with a place that met our expectations. The accommodation is functional, clean, recently renovated with great views. We loved the sunsets we could contemplate from the balcony. very nice rental in a peaceful place!

A cozy apartment with magnificent lake views. An environment rich in places to discover by bike or on foot. Marc and Marie are welcoming, concerned about the comfort of their tenants.

We were told a slice of paradise and that's exactly where we landed. Hosted by 2 angels with their "L", Lydie and Laurent were just adorable, available, welcoming, warm, simple, and very helpful. Their companion Maurice is a pretty affectionate and very kind doggie. We fell for him like many travelers 😂 We were able to enjoy a special moment with them with the backdrop "Le Mascaret", a superb sunset and an aperitif of wines from the region. A delicious moment. 🍷🍷🍷

In a good location apartment

The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. The balcony was big and had great views. Paulina was a great host and always available for questions and gave some great recommendations for our stay

Great stay in this little cocoon. The accommodation is impeccable, the kitchen is very well equipped, everything is there for a great stay. Caroline was lovely in our exchanges. We will be happy to go back without hesitation.

The host is super friendly, and very quick in responding. She described everything in perfect detail, so we were able to find the place easily (even though we arrived in the dark). Everything at the house was ready and clean, and we enjoyed our quiet time here even though it was for just two days. The place is close to the lake and the walk in the woods is very beautiful. Carole also gave useful tips about where to walk! Overall we really enjoyed our stay & especially how easy it was for us to get there. We traveled with two dogs and two kids, there were lots of fun toys and games for the children and the nature and little beach were perfect for the dogs. Thanks again, Carole!

Janine's property suited us perfectly. Walks from the property, supermarket (very good) nearby, award-winning pastry chef not too far away..... Bourg is a beautiful and interesting place and some of the Côte de Bourg wines are exceptional. Well located for Blaye - the citadel, the cliff, the ferry to cross the Gironde. The house is warm and cozy, but the electricity needs a little update, which we think will happen in the near future. The garden was perfect for dogs and there are great views from the patio which, in hot weather, would probably have been contemplated at leisure! Janine is friendly and responds quickly. We rarely go back to the properties but this could be an exception! A big thank you Janine and - maybe - see you soon.

We had a great time at Alexis's place who was very accommodating, very responsive . The location is great close to the lake. We did not try the pool because we were there in October but it must add a charm in the warm season.

Louise and Mickael made us feel very welcome, plus a bottle of white wine and cool beers! Very nice! We had a pleasant week of vacation at Moulin Chaillou. We were able to enjoy the pool, which the kids loved (4 years and 1 year). All shops are nearby, the beach is 45 minutes away, as well as the aquarium, etc. If you need anything, do not hesitate, Louise and Mickael are there to meet your needs.

Julien is available, responsive and accommodating and welcoming! We had a lovely stay, close to the lake it was really convenient with the kids. We didn't miss anything, his house is well-equipped.

Nice little apartment, really very well equipped, quietly located. On the terrace you can sit comfortably in the evening, in front of the river there is also a nice seating area to enjoy the sunset. In the living room there is a guest bed, this is more suitable for children, with the weight of an adult it hangs too much and is not so comfortable. But since we planned it as a bed for the children anyway, it was sufficient for us. Eric and his wife were very nice and warm. The surrounding area offers the possibility of many wine tastings, Bordeaux is not far away and there is also plenty to explore in the area.
